I've stopped playing WoW, I'd like to thank all of those that read this guide and found it useful. Especially those that cared enough to comment and help improve it. I will not be updating it to fix all the broken spells and tooltips, or to make it relevant going forward into MoP. If anyone would like to have the code behind it to create your own, or to maintain this one, let me know and we can work something out.

25-man LFR Difficulty is the easiest way to experience the Dragon Soul raid. Minimum requirement is an item level of 372 (check your character screen). This is not difficult to attain with new craftables, BOE drops and the new Heroic dungeons dropping ilvl 378 loot. This raid drops ilvl 384 loot, with the exception being the final encounters with Deathwing.
Spine of Deathwing
drops ilvl 390 trinkets and assorted armor.
Madness of Deathwing
drops only ilvl 390 weapons.
You enter the raid through the 'Raid Finder' (press 'ctrl + i' by default). The raid is broken up into two separate raids. You must complete

at least once, before you can enter

LFR is EASY
, it is supposed to be easy. Most of the trash and bosses can be steamrolled through, with little regard given to abilities. There are however, some things that can (and will) kill people, and can quickly lead to a raid wipe. For instance - accidentally pulling Hagara, or being in the center when she transitions to her Frost Phase - not using

properly during Ultraxion - not single targeting the

during the Madness encounter after you clear Alexstrasza's platform. I will try and call attention to these things in the guide by making them STAND OUT. I will also call attention to abilities that are absent in LFR, that make the encounters easier.
Also of note is that all of this information is available in various places on the internet. I have tried to put it all in one place, and filter out only the information that is pertinent to the LFR difficulty.

Deal with this pack in the same way you did with the first trash pack.

Tanks:
Get one mob on you - don't try to tank everything

Overview
Morchok is a giant earth elemental, he does a great deal of physical damage. Tanks will have to swap throughout the fight. DPS/Healers will need to run to a crystal.
EVERYONE
will need to run behind pillars.

Tank him right where he stands - try to return to this spot after the Black Blood phase
Morchok will cast

Periodically throughout the fight Morchok will channel

should get behind one of these pillars - don't be a hero - dead people do 0 dps
You can still DPS Morchok during this phase if you back up away from the pillars, essentially looking to the side or between them to have line of sight

Tanks - save big defensive cooldowns for this
DPS - use whatever cooldowns you have - preferably save Blood Lust / Time Warp for this

Countless ages ago, Warlord Zon'ozz and his soldiers waged endless war against the forces of C'Thun and Yogg-Saron. Millennia have passed, but the warlord still serves the chaotic might of the Old God N'Zoth. Deathwing has now unleashed this legendary faceless one to crush the defenders of Wyrmrest Temple.

Since the fall of the Bastion of Twilight, Yor'sahj the Unsleeping has eagerly assisted Deathwing, providing the Destroyer with the means to release more faceless ones from their prisons deep beneath the earth. Their numbers are endless and their power is beyond reckoning, and Yor'sahj intends to reap a grim reward for his faithful service.

Yor'sahj's trash consists of a number of patrolling packs of globules or oozes. These adds carry many of the same characteristics as the oozes during the Yor'sahj encounter do. Below is a list of each ooze (in order of suggested kill priority, your results may vary)

Boss - 106M Health - 10 minute enrage timer
Oozes - 4.1M Health
The main gimmick of this fight, from the Wowhead page - "summoning three differently colored globules of his blood. These globules path slowly towards Yor'sahj, infusing him with additional powers if they reach him." They path straight towards Yor'sahj and do no melee damage. When one dies, the other 2 become invulnerable

, take it as a suggestion. A good argument has been made by

in the comments to kill Red instead of Black on the Black-Red-Green pack.

Tank him right in the center of the room

Hagara, one of the first students of arcane magic under the Forsaken, showed surprising potential for one who had started learning so late in life. But in her undisciplined attempts to bind elementals into servitude, she was ensnared and twisted by the Windlord, Al'Akir. Now fiercely loyal to the Twilight's Hammer, Hagara binds others for her elemental masters to torment.

The trash before Hagara the Stormbinder is comprised of 4 waves of mobs and a mini-boss. They will spawn from portals in the room. Generally they should be tanked close together to take advantage of incidental AOE. Kill casters first,

The fourth wave is made up of 10 Corrupted Fragments that you need to AoE down.
Fifth Wave -

Lieutenant Shara is the final mob you will have to face before reaching Hagara.
She stacks

on the tank. This debuff reduces armor.
Taunt when the other tank gets 2 stacks

, a magic debuff, on random players. This debuff deals Frost damage and can be dispelled.
She deals some random raid damage.
Pull this mob and kill her close to the edge of the platform (and have the entire raid move there), as

will spawn in the center of the platform as soon as Lieutenant Shara dies, and she can easily be pulled by mistake.

dies, if the whole raid isn't near the outside, Hagara could be immediately pulled. Be Ready!

More an abomination of dark energy than a dragon, Ultraxion has spent his short life absorbing the essence of captured nether dragons. Ultraxion is the only twilight dragon Deathwing has praised, and his arrogance is overshadowed only by the crackling energies surging through his twisted form. Loyal to his master, Ultraxion swears to bring about the fall of Wyrmrest Temple.

After reaching the Wyrmrest Temple summit and talking to Thrall, an event will begin, which acts as the trash before Ultraxion, the 5th boss of the instance.
The entire platform will come under siege from a swarm of
暮光突袭者
.
Tanks should taunt the Drakes in order to have them come down in melee range and be attackable. The drakes will use
暮光之息
and can easily be healed through. They do moderate melee damage, but can quickly kill a cloth/leather dps, so be careful if your tanks are slow with the taunts.
If not taunted down, the drakes will shoot lines of fire on the ground, that everyone should move out of immediately. They are giant purple fire walls that will do heavy damage.
The event takes 4 minutes to complete, after the time expires no more drakes will spawn. Kill what's left and Ultraxion will spawn on the north end of the platform.

This is a gear check - a straight DPS race - you kill him before he kills you

Initially cast every 6 seconds - this decreases by 1 second for every minute of the encounter (2nd minute is every 5 seconds, 3rd is every 4 seconds, etc.)

Astride these hardened survivors are the last vestiges of the Twilight's Hammer's army: the elite drake riders of Deathwing's personal escort. Led by the insidious Warmaster Blackhorn, they move with unholy purpose, driven to protect their dark master.

The fight takes place on the Skyfire, an alliance airship with roughly 10M health. The ship can and will be destroyed if too many
go unsoaked, failing the encounter and wiping the raid.
The first phase will involve 2 melee adds and drakes flying around above you

Spine of Deathwing
When Deathwing first channeled the Dragon Soul's power against the other flights, the massive energies that were unleashed threatened to break apart his very body. Rather than forgo this weapon, he had adamantium plates fused to his scales to hold his body together. Later reinforced with elementium, these plates are now his weakness--the sole vulnerability to Deathwing's lethal presence.

There is no trash before the Spine of Deathwing encounter.
The fight is started by talking to

. A short cutscene will play showing a few NPC's and players jumping from the airship onto Deathwing's back.
You can press 'ESC' to skip over this. You will then be falling with a parachute onto Deathwing. You can right-click off the parachute buff if you wish to drop faster.

This fight is relatively straightforward after you understand the mechanics. You need to execute the same series of steps 3 times:

If you expose the right tendon, be sure that the tank is on the right side when the Amalgamation goes Nuclear, so it exposes the right tendon again. If your tank is on the left side, it will expose a full health tendon. This causes an extended fight and could lead to a wipe.
On LFR, Corruptions do not cast

Overview
Phase One - Complete the same series of steps 4 times on the 4 different platforms
Phase Two - Kill Adds - DPS Deathwing's face
Phase One
You start on Ysera's platform, it is recommended that you go Ysera, Nozdormu, Alexstrasza, Kalecgos, which is left, left, then all the way to the right
The four aspects give you buffs until you clear their platform, then they go fight Deathwing. Losing each buff makes the fight a little harder each time.
Each aspect grants the raid a passive buff and has an active ability
Ysera grants

IMPORTANT NOTE: On the final platform (specifically after you clear Alexstrasza's platform, if you chose a different order), you will need to single target the

on the whole raid, this will stack quickly and wipe you if you aren't switching and single targetting them down.
After the fourth and final tentacle is dead, jump back to Ysera's platform and begin..
Phase Two
Deathwing will slump forward allowing you to DPS his face - he has 20% health remaining - roughly 57M
Throughout this phase

Some notes for Yor'sahj:
Every LFR raid I've been in prefers the Yor'sahj boss fight ooze priority to be:
Purple
Yellow
RED
, not Black.
Naturally anyone who suggests Green gets shouted down because Green doesn't do squat in LFR.
I've never seen any raid actually kill or even suggest killing the black ooze. The only combo where you choose between Red/Black instead of killing the higher priority Purple or Yellow is (Red, Black, Green). The adds from Black are easily AoE'd down (especially in the absence of Blue) and do minimal damage. Red's damage output is significantly more dangerous.
Also, for the (Purple, Green, Blue) combination you currently have this listed:
KILL PURPLE
, Kill Mana Void (be close when it dies),
Spread out

DO NOT
spread out, since green doesn't chain in LFR. Stack instead for AoE healing, preferably on top of the mana void. This way, you
always
stack in LFR, no exceptions. Keep it simple.
IMO the most annoying combination is (Yellow, Blue, Black) as Blue saps mana required for many classes to effectively AoE. Although it may be a perfectly viable strategy to actually kill blue (instead of yellow) for this specific combo, trying to communicate that effectively in LFR is an exercise in futility, so a simple "PURPLE > YELLOW > RED" macro is probably the best way to go.
Regardless of the above, I've never seen a group actually wipe on this boss,
even when 3/4 of the dps fails to switch targets and he gets all 3 oozes' buffs

Great guide :) Just one question/clarification on Warmaster.
"DPS -Stay spread out - soak damage from Twilight Barrage when you can, and always for Twilight Onslaught"
So, you always stay spread out for Twilight Onslaught? Or is it 'soak damage" by stacking?

A word of note on the trash mobs with Hagara: All the humanoid trash with the exclusion of Shara are conventional elite mobs and are susceptible to all forms of humanoid crowd control. CCing the Frost Evokers (if the tank realizes they are CCed) can be a big benefit, especially with Wave 3 where they are notoriously tough to bunch up in the middle due to them being casters and there's no Line of Sight trick you can use.

I like the expansion tabs. I feel like I'm not reading a wall of text, it feels succinct, and like most Wowhead guides, is I know where I'm going to be reading what. As for the information contained, most Wowhead guides are great because of the hyperlinks to useful mobs or spells, this one is up there with the best of them. Thanks for writing this. I appreciate that LFR DS is not the same as "regular" which is what I had been reading. So this is really good for me right now.

I no longer play WoW, as such I will not be updating this guide. It looks like a lot of the spell tooltips have been broken with recent patches. Why don't you have any mounts under Notable drops? I know you aren't updating this anymore, but it's worth a note that there are 3 different mounts you can get from this raid as well.
