This trinket has no bearing on how fast you swim, especially because you get exhausted in the "seas" as opposed to swimming regularly and you'll drown before you find out how fast you are really swimming.

I think a good test would be using Cartographer's Way Point setting. Choose a set of coordinates for start and finish. Then see how much time it says it would take you to get to the end way point with and without the item.

This is a great item for all classes who want to swim through those troublesome bodies of water. Some may try to tell you that it is a hunter item, but don't let them fool you. My mage benefits from this just as much as any hunter would. A must buy!

This does actually work, although there is no buff icon you can actually notice you swim 3x - 4x faster! Dont be fooled by him! IT DOES WORK!!!

I agree with the first post that this must be a joke. I unfortunately paid 15g for this amulet, and don't see a bit of improved swim speed. I have a hunter too.

The vendor that sells these things in shattrath is hilarious. Watch the routine he and the draenei cop get into every few minutes.

Oh, and the reason to have his "amulets" which do EXACTLY what they say...which is to let you do things that you could always do anyway...is because when you're hanging out, and tell people to inspect you so that they can see your new tier piece...be sure to wear something like this to see if they notice.

Then spin them a story about how hard it is to get and how leet it is.

It's important to do your part to make other people crazy.

Well one of his amulets has worked for me im sure this one would too, just maybe not in an obvious or intended way, perhaps it only works in oceans, or it prevents you from being netted in water.

there are lots of items like this, such as soap on a rope, which let you stay clean... but people dont get dirty cuz of magic.
this lets you move through water... you can already do that, its called swimming.
theres another one i saw in AH for 150 gold that said you could find the greatest of treasures in the most common locale... this is called world drops. and it gives you no extra % to find the items

I've heard the same thing about all of his items...
except for the Polished Pendant of Edible Energy ...
They say it can replenish health and manna at the same time and all you have to do is sit down for a while like you normally would...

The "Hula Girl Doll" is actually useful though,
It's one of the reagents needed to craft the epic engineering flying mount, and when you build it the hula girl appears on the dash board - imba!
