This really works. I've been wondering around the lands for hours now and not one Tikbalang has even come near me. In fact, it works so well, I've not even sighted one. You might think I'm making it all up, but I swear it's true!

ummm correct me if im wrong but Tikbalang's are horse people... not the centaur type... but more of like a horse version of a minotour . they are from philippine folk lore how Blizz got them in the game is what leaves me baffled

you can get a wine from a barrel near the black smith that makes you see pink elekks when your drunk it funny as hell

This amulet is a reference to a Filipino lucky charm called "anting-anting". Its purpose is to ward of demons and such. The pendant of most of these charms contain a small body part of the mythical creatures, a vial of oil or holy water, a stone chip...etc, thus the in game icon of the item is inaccurate, yet some anting-antings are laminated or pouched.

Tikbalangs are horse humanoid creatures believed to lurk atop banyan trees. There are many versions on the description of Tikbalangs, and in my opinion, its description is closely associated or confused with another mythical creature called "Kapre". Kapres are known to smoke a huge cigar and have similar features of a WoW troll (except the long tusks, and from some illustrations they have features of an African, no disrespect implied, Filipinos have dark natives). Well anyways, there's a lot of unclear stories about this mythical creatures. They arent really documented.. its more of a spoken lore.

If anyone is having trouble with the Jump-a-Tron 4000, get a tikbalang to help you into the tree. they charge a high fee, tho, for their services.
But it is worth it for the reward.

I bought it and I'm happy with it. No tikbalang has yet managed to snatch me from their trees and none ever will. Best 5g I've ever spent.

Id rather turn my shirt isnide out. lol. Yes tinkabalang's are a Filipino myth that can be warded away by wearing your shirt inside out.

Unfortunately, I did not want to spend the few gold I had to buy the questionable Infalliable Tikbalang Ward. To my regret, I was soon whisked away up a tree while horseback riding in Nagrand by the mythical filipino horsemen. High atop the tree and as my life was soon to end. I quickly create a text message on my cellphone(trinket)to send to a guildie to buy themself one. But alas... the message did not go through as there was no Globe cell site yet in Nagrand. 'Tang Ina!

The worse part was that after I was able to release my spirit and made it back to my body to ressurect myself. I find out that the damn Tikbalang stole my cellphone!
