Patch 8.3: Visions of N'Zoth is the third and final major patch of
Battle for Azeroth
, currently on the PTR. Visions of N'Zoth brings several class changes, as well as new and updated Essences for the Heart of Azeroth, which will be detailed below. Additionally, gear will no longer titanforge in Patch 8.3, but can instead contain special Corrupted modifiers.

Developers' note: This ability had gotten weaker compared to player health pools since the start of the expansion, and this will help it better maintain its value.
Surrounds the target with healing mists, restoring (140%161% of Spell power) health over 20 sec.
If Renewing Mist heals a target past maximum health, it will travel to another injured ally within 20 yds.
Cost changed from 2.8% of base mana to 2.5% of base mana
Heals all party and raid members within 40 yards for (200%225% of Spell power) and clears them of all harmful Magical, Poison, and Disease effects.
Kick upwards, dealing (115%143.8% of Attack power) Physical damage.
Causes a surge of invigorating mists, healing the target for (95%101% of Spell power) and all allies with your Renewing Mist active for (70%74% of Spell power)
Vivify heals all allies with your Renewing Mist active for (70%74% of Spell power).

Rising Sun Kick heals all allies with your Renewing Mist, Enveloping Mist, or Essence Font for (15%25% of Spell power), and extends those effects by 24 sec.
Developers' note: This talent is currently overshadowed on its row, and we want to make sure it's competitive enough to make its unique playstyle a viable option.

Developers' notes: Over the past year, builds centered around this trait have steadily pulled ahead of all other Holy Paladin playstyles, and to some extent all other healers in high-end content. This change is meant to preserve the gameplay of the trait, but limit the ability to increase its value drastically by stacking every possible bonus that reduces Holy Shock cooldown.

Smite, Penance, and Shadowfiend critical strike chance increased by 25% when you have Atonement on 3 or more allies.

A word of darkness that causes (18%16.5% of Spell power) Shadow damage instantly, and an additional (108%99.2% of Spell power) Shadow damage over 16 sec.
Generates 4 Insanity.
A touch of darkness that causes (27.5%25.3% of Spell power) Shadow damage over 21 sec, and heals you for 50% of damage dealt.
If Vampiric Touch is dispelled, the dispeller flees in Horror for 3 sec.

Fixed a bug causing Spiteful Apparitions (Azerite Trait) to be increased by 75% if you do not have Auspicious Spirits talented.
Developers' notes: The multiplicative interaction between Auspicious Spirits, Spiteful Apparitions, and Chorus of Insanity has specifically been a big part of Shadow's damage scaling somewhat out of control at high target counts.

Developers' note: Under certain conditions, Deathbolt provides a degree of single target burst damage that feels out of line for a spec designed around damage-over-time spells. Additionally, it has been the dominant choice for Affliction's level 15 talent row for much of the expansion. We're reducing its effectiveness to bring it more in line with the other two options in that row.

NEW The Formless Void
(Rank 1) Replicate the energy in your target's Heart of Azeroth, gaining access to rank 2 of their currently slotted Major Essence for the next 15 sec. The Formless Void will go on cooldown for 40% longer than the base cooldown of the Essence you replicated.
Does not work on passive Essences.
(Rank 2) Replicate the energy in your target's Heart of Azeroth, gaining access to rank 2 of their currently slotted Major Essence for the next 15 sec. The Formless Void will go on cooldown for 40% longer than the base cooldown of the Essence you replicated.

(Rank 3&4) Replicate the energy in your target's Heart of Azeroth, gaining access to rank 3 of their currently slotted Major Essence for the next 15 sec. The Formless Void will go on cooldown for 30% longer than the base cooldown of the Essence you replicated.

(Rank 1) Each time any ally within 40 yds uses an Azerite Essence, gain 81 $pri for 20 sec.
Unique: Corruption Resistance increased by 10.
(Rank 2) Each time any ally within 40 yds uses an Azerite Essence, gain $pri for 20 sec.
Unique: Corruption Resistance increased by 10.
(Rank 3&4) Each time any ally within 40 yds uses an Azerite Essence, gain $pri and 11 Haste for 20 sec.
The ally who used an Azerite Essence also gains 11 Haste for 20 sec.
Unique: Corruption Resistance increased by 10.
Condensed Life-Force
Your spells and abilities have a high chance to impale your target with a spike of Azerite, causing Fire damage.
When an Azerite spike deals damage, all damage you deal against that target is increased by 5%3% for 6 sec.
The Rank 3 Minor debuff is also applied by the guardian summoned with the major power, resulting in a nerf for both the major and minor essence.
Call upon Azeroth to summon a Guardian of Azeroth for 30 sec who impales your target with spikes of Azerite every 22.5 sec that deal Fire damage.
The summoned guardian now attacks 25% slower at every rank of the major essence.
Conflict & Strife
Your spells and abilities have a chance to increase your Versatility by 57 for 8 sec, stacking up to 5 times. Being the vicitimvictim of a loss of control or movement impairing effect also grants a stack of Strife.
Tooltip change. When not active in the Heart of Azeroth, the minor was displaying the incorrect versatility value. No actual change.
Purification Protocol
Call down a purifying beam upon the target area, dealing 10561215 * (1 + Versatility) * 7] Fire damage over 6 sec.
Any Aberration struck by the beam is stunned for 3 sec.
Damage increased for all ranks of the Major Power.
Major rank 2 now has the potential work on targets that are part of raid and dungeon encounters.
The Unbound Force
Unleash the forces within the Heart of Azeroth, causing shards of Azerite to strike your target for 341 * (7.06061) + 341477 * (7.06061) + 477)] Fire damage over 2 sec. This damage is increased by 300% if it critically strikes.
Damage increased for all ranks of the Major power.
When an ability fails to critically strike, you have a high chance to gain Reckless Force. When Reckless Force reaches 20 stacks, your critical strike is increased by 50% for 34 sec.
Minor Rank 1 and 2 duration increased from 3 -> 4 seconds.
When an ability fails to critically strike, you have a high chance to gain Reckless Force. When Reckless Force reaches 20 stacks, your critical strike is increased by 50% for 46 sec.
Minor Rank 3 duration increased from 4 -> 6 seconds.
Vitality Conduit
Targets of your heals have a very high chance to transfer 2945 health from the highest-health ally within 30 yds.
All Minor Ranks now scale with Versatility.
Direct the Vitality Conduit toward an ally. Every 0.5 sec for 6 sec, they transfer 2945 health from the highest-health ally within 30 yds.
All Major Ranks now scale with Versatility.
Worldvein Resonance
Concentrate energy into the Heart of Azeroth, immediately causing 2 Lifeblood Shards to erupt from the nearby ground for 12 sec, and increase the primary stat gained from Lifeblood Shards by 300% for 18 sec.
All Major Ranks now increase the primary stat gain from Lifeblood Shards.

Rogue seriously needs some changes to outlaw and subtlety. Assassin has been the go-to since the end of WoD and I'm tired of playing it. I do so much more damage in assassin but Outlaw is just more fun!

Didn't BrM monks also receive a reduction in stagger based on agi? I thought it was reduces from like 105% to 90% but don't see it listed.

will stack or not. I can already see raid teams stacking that on their lower dps and healers for some insane bursts. I bet they either don't let it stack or they cap it at some low number is my guess. But if not, that is pretty good, a 20s window with only a 1min cd and even better if the cd starts when triggered. But then again the best essence has a 3min CD so something is gonna get lost in that process if it happens.
I feel for all of the simcrafters out there having to deal with so much to caclulate. Also with the minor

reducing the cd sometimes as well this could possibly be the big essence to have in 8.3 (Pretty sure they aren't going to let the minors stack though as that would just be plan silly if they did)
