What is Baa'l?
Baa'l is an adorable Magic battle pet, with a unique demonic goat model. Baa'l was datamined pretty early on during the Battle for Azeroth Alpha, and was heavily hunted during the Battle for Azeroth Alpha and Beta. While not being found during the Alpha and Beta cycle, it was found within a few weeks of Battle for Azeroth's launch!

Baa'l Progress Macro
This handy macro can be used to track your progress during the Baa'l hunt. Since you don't get any indication that you've completed each step, after the first couple steps of the secrets, this can be useful to make sure you don't lose track of which part of the secret you're on. This can also save you some gold, as many parts of the secret involve going through fatigue zones deep within the ocean and possible death.

The Hunt for Pebbles
Many of the caves states within this secret were discovered before the hunt for Baa'l was a thing, but the very first step was added into the game as a note. You will need to follow those in order to obtain each pebble. This secret will take you around many hidden zones in Kul Tiras and Zandalar.
Heart of Darkness, Nazmir
The first clue is hidden within
纳兹米尔
, by the Heart of Darkness at the center of the zone, where there is a hidden note atop the citadel. To get to that note, go through the bridge located at
46 54
. The note itself is on the edge of the citadel at
51 59
, and you gotta be careful to get there and not fall off the citadel. It's recommended to jump from the side by using a

Drak'thul's Hideout, Broken Shore
The second clue requires you to return to Legion content. More specifically, to where

, one of the pebbles has a much lighter color and can be interacted with. Interact with the pebble for the next clue. You will no longer be able to interact with the pebble, after interacting with it once.

The pebble reads,
<An ordinary pebble, unremarkable in every way.>
If Drak'thul is standing on top of the table, as he does sometimes, you can try clicking the pebble by using an invisibility potion, standing on top of him and aiming your camera angle down, or simply wait till he moves. However, he can take a bit to move out of the way.
Pebble 1 - Hook Point, Boralus
At Hook Point in Boralus, there is a secret cave hidden behind some nets at
49 40
. You can simply run through the nets to get to the secret cave. You will locate another pebble at the end of the cave, again interact with it. The pebble is small but since it's a very pale color compared to the cave's brown-ish floor, it's not hard to miss.

On this step and on every step after, the pebbles will no longer contain any text confirming you've clicked on them, so click them more than once and use the macro provided on the beginning of the guide to track your progress!
Pebble 2 - Atal'dazar, Zuldazar
The second pebble is located inside the non-instanced version of
阿塔达萨
, in
祖达萨
. To enter the non-instanced version of the dungeon, go to the right of the dungeon portal. This pebble is actually very well hidden, so please watch the video below to find it!

Pebble 3 - Gol Osigr, Drustvar
The third pebble is located by a cave hidden behind the waterfall that goes through Gol Osigr, in

. The easiest way to get to this cave is to climb the mountain near Arom's Stand, and find the top part of the waterfall at

, and jump down one level. Behind that area, there is the hidden cave. The pebble is located inside the left eye socket of the massive effigy at the cave.

Pebble 4 - Tortaka Refuge, Vol'dun
The fourth pebble is located by the tortollan settlement of Tortaka Refuge, in

. From the flightmaster, jump down to the rocks and get to the tree at

. Down that tree, there is a small cave containing a very menacing

that WILL one-shot you if you get too close. Hidden among the rocks near the Clatterback, is the pebble.

Pebble 5 - The Great Sea, Stormsong Valley
The fifth pebble is located on an island near the Shrine of the Storm in

The sixth pebble is located very out of the coast, well within the fatigue zone, next to

to help you get there. The sunken ship is located at

Pebble 7 - Proudmoore Keep, Boralus
The seventh pebble is located within Proudmoore Keep in Boralus. At the hedge maze, you can find some
Proudmoore Cadets playing D&D
, this entrance being hidden under some shrubbery at

. The pebble is located behind some barrels.

Pebble 8 - Western Watch, Drustvar
The eighth pebble is located within the lighthouse in northwestern Drustvar. You will need to climb around the lighthouse to get to a hard to access cave, with its entrance located at

. Mind the gaps when getting to the cave! This pebble is not actually located inside the cave, but incredibly hidden on the shrubbery nearby.

Pebble 9 - Kennings Lodge, Tiragarde Sound
The ninth pebble is located in a cave above Kennings Lodge in

. This is one of the more dangerous pebbles, as the cave is chok full of

that are hidden and undetectable! You will at least die once, promise. Unless you use of either invisibility effects, like

, or CC all the Clatterbacks as they rush to 1-shot you.

Waterfall Cave, Tiragarde Sound
The tenth pebble is located on a waterfall cave to the east of Boralus, in Tiragarde Sound. The cave entrance is at

, and you will require a bit of climbing skills to get to the upper part of the cave entrance. Inside this cave, there are many pebbles, but the only correct one is under a scroll, at the back of the room. Thankfully, no Clatterbacks here!

Pebble 11 - Seaweed Cave, Boralus
The eleventh pebble is located on a cave underwater near Boralus. Its entrance is hidden among some algae at

. Inside this cave, there are also a lot of pebbles scattered around, but the correct (and interactable) one is hidden under some algae. Using shrinking toys like the
整体缩小仪
can make getting this pebble a lot easier!

Make sure to use this macro while on the

map. Using this macro on the

map will give you the wrong coordinates.
Pebble 12 - Fatigue Cave, off the coast of Vol'dun
The last pebble is located very far off the coast of Vol'dun, in an underwater cave far after the fatigue zone. In the video below you can see how to get there! The cave has a ton of pebbles on its floor, but the correct pebble is actually near the entrance, still on the fatigue zone. The cave entrance is located at

on the Zandalar map, after you leave the Vol'dun area.

The last pebble has an anagram that says:

Baa'l will initially be empowered and nearly impossible to defeat. However, he can be weakened by someone summoning an "upgraded" (World Tour finished) Uuna battle pet. Invoking Uuna will weaken Baa'l for everyone in the volcano for 15 minutes.

This concludes the first part of the first major secret in Battle for Azeroth. However, this is not the end of the secret, as Baa'l utters an ominous sentence when summoned.

The coordinates in the box for the tree at Tortaka Refuge are wrong. In the description above it they are 63 21, but in the box it's 63 32, which leads you in the completely opposite direction.

The macro seems to be missing a pebble. There are 13 but the macro only has 12. Unless I'm missing something :)
Edit: The Fatigue Cave pebble had FIN turn to Y in the macro.

I managed to do the seventh pebble without the angler fishing pole. I used my Anglers Fishing Raft directly from the flight master at Tortaka's Refuge and used a swim speed potion almost directly above the ship. If you find it fast enough, you'll die after.

This needs an update. Not only do you need to complete finding these pebbles, but you also need Uuna. Not only do you need Uuna, but you also need to complete her storyline. Not only do you need to complete the storyline, but you need to complete her world tour! You don't know how frustrating it has been going to Baa'l after each of those steps I mentioned only to find out the next step has to be done, which this guide NEVER pointed out needed to be done!
Learn for my mistake and make sure you've gotten Uuna, done her storyline, AND done her world tour before going to Baa'l (or even starting to get Baa'l). Now if you'll excuse me, I have a demon goat to pamper!

Wanted to share a few things that worked for a guildmate and I. I was having trouble getting to the note at the Heart of Darkness to start the chain. The goblin glider method would not work for me - I tried several times but couldn't pull it off. My guildmate was on her Demon Hunter and double jumped on top of the bit of wall the juts up right above the note as shown in the second photo in the guide above. Once up there she then used the
Sandstone Drake
mount and I was able to mount up and dismount to get up on the wall as well. I then turned around so my back was facing the note and slowly inched backwards to drop down right on top of the note. This was much easier than trying to use the goblin glider.
For the South Seas, Nazmir one with the fatigue we swam along the fatigue zone until we were directly across from the ship. As a druid I used my aquatic form and used the
Wild Charge
talent which gives you a 150% swim speed boost for 5 seconds with a CD of 15 seconds. Was able to get to the back of the ship where the mural is with about 15-20 seconds to spare. My guildmate used both the
Shimmerscale Diving Suit
and
Shimmerscale Diving Helmet
, both of which are made by Leather crafters this xpac. The helmet allows the user to breathe underwater and the suit boosts swim speed by 100%. As a Demon Hunter she also used her
Fel Rush
and was able to reach the ship with enough time to get the pebble.
We both made it as far as Baa'l but when I tried to battle him, Uuna did not apply her debuff to him, even though she did yell at him and tell me to use my battle attack. Baa'l has 9000+ HP before Uuna debuffs him. If her debuff is applied he goes down to somewhere around 1100 HP and will shrink in size as well, at least that is what we were told by others in chat that had got him. He is a Wild Magic pet and you'll need to use pets that can combat that.

My little advise, how to reach ship and cave north from Vol'dun and Nazmir in fatigue zone. I don't have feast of the fishes (craft or ah), so I've decide to use Azure Waterstrider and buff from War Campaign Ship - Swift Landing which gives you 20% speed boost on mount (here on waterstrider). Before I took flight to northern flightmaster, I put on my character two new items from Zandalari Leatherworking: Shimmerscale Diving Helmet and Shimmerscale Diving Suit which allows you to swim faster and breathe underwater.

For the Fatigue Cave I recommend downloading the same add on from in the video to get the correct markers for coordinates. The add on was call Paste.

I can't interact with the pebble in the Seaweed Cave, Boralus. Script tells me I've not done that part. I've shrunk myself to oblivion but no matter what, I can't click it. Any ideas ? tricks ?

the 9th pebble, (western watch) is small and hard to spot, at least at night it was, stand facing the rock to the left of the opening, flat up against it, with your back to skeleton, zoom a lil ways out and mouse over till the gear icon pops up, you can interact with it even at that distance.

The progress macro isn't completely accurate. The number completed is one ahead of the pebble you're on. I.E.: The sixth pebble (seas outside of Nazmir) shows as number 7 when running the macro. I ended up having to come back to that one after a failed attempt, but thinking it was successful due to the macro, after reaching the Boralus DnD pebble and not being able to interact with it.

For non-stealthed Horde trying to get into the Boralus hedge maze, this is the way I found without getting killed or flagged:
You'll have to kill a few "off-duty" cadets and Captains, but they're not pvp flagged or elites. You can also ignore any citizens. Watch out for the Boralus Guards though!
Enter Boralus @ (26.00, 77.51)
Climb up some rocks to get above the fallen tree @ (29.39, 77.68)
Go up to the wall, but don't go in and follow the rocks all the way to the left to (30.90, 70.89)
Kill some mobs, and head to the stair on the right @ (33.96, 68.22) (This is directly SE from the elite Admiral)
Go past the nobles gossiping to the alcove @ (37.40, 73.88)
Jump on the top of the hedge and follow it around to the right until you reach the tree and hidden entrance @ (37.28, 80.32)
You'll need to kill all 5 "off-duty" cadets down below. Pebble is behind a barrel

It's not posted anywhere here and since it hasn't been resolved since the start of the Xpac I'm gonna post it here for any prying eyes to see. Currently this little bundle of demonic fury is bugged, and you may need to throw everything you have at it multiple times to get
尤娜
to debuff the goat. Prepare to turn on and off warmode multiple times, make sure you have a
蜗牛壳
to kill him and reset him, may take several attempts to get Uuna to effect him properly. When/If that fails disable all addons and try again, beyond that you may have to wait till reset or wait in the wee hours to get him alone. Good luck to everyone hunting this thing, and may he be crushed under the weight of your pet team.

I couldn't click on the First Pebble because I had not done some of the old content. I ended up having to talk to Drak'thul until he told me to go away. Then I had to loot the Weathered Relic from a pile of dirt at the back of a cave located at 57.40, 55.95. Upon returning to Drak'Thul at 37, 71, I found him sleeping away from the table. I could then click on the pebble and receive the dialogue about it just being an ordinary pebble to complete this step.

I was able to get the pebble on the sunken boat by using the Brinedeep Bottom-Feeder mount. I swam down beside the rock shelf at the fatigue border, to about the same depth as the boat, and then mounted and swam towards the way point.This may only be feasible for Undead, as we can breathe under water, but I totally made it there in time to rub the pebble.

Here is the easy sauce way to do
'The South Seas, Nazmir'
....this method requires you to have the fishing raft from Pandaria (remember, the raft is a toy, not a mount).....raft out to the edge of the fatigue barrier, (roughly
54,14
)....park just on this side of the fatigue barrier on your raft. While on your raft, drop a
Feast of the Fishes
for yourself (they are tradeable, so anyone can make them that has the recipe, and it'll drop right onto the raft). Eat, get buff, and jump into water - raft should dematerialize when you turn into a fish anyway. With a
225% swim speed increase
, (and underwater breathing built in) you can make a beeline to the underwater wrecked ship at (
54,7
) with only about half of your fatigue timer blown. Swim to the rear of the ship, the pebble is in the middle window of the back of the ship on the outside, don't waste time looking for how to get IN to the ship, you don't need to. If you quickly locate and get the pebble you should have enough time to hearth out, I was able to port as a mage back to Boralis, and then Proudmoore Keep is right there (next pebble you have to find). If you don't have a mage to do this on, use your
garrison hearthstone
, since it cycles the fastest. (remember to drop the fish buff when you get to wherever you port to, or you'll take 'on land' damage). Worst case scenario, get the pebble, die, then just take the ten minute rez sickness at the GY. Easy.
EDIT:
This same strat works equally well for
Fatigue Cave, off the coast of Vol'dun
. Raft and Feast of Fishes works here same as above, although I'd use Tom Tom in this instance to setup exact waypoints. You have to 'hit' a
fatigue reset area
by going north from the start point for the first leg, then turn NE for the second leg...you won't get fatigue again until you're about
200-205 yds
away from the underwater cave....when you get the fatigue timer again, back up the raft until it clears the timer, then park the raft. Do the same thing as above with feast of fishes, go into water and follow waypoint marker to the cave. It's important on this one that you don't stray off the waypoint arrow, or you'll miss the narrow fatigue reset area. Again, if done correctly, you should have just enough time to port or hearth out.
Lastly, I don't see what all the talk about beating Baa'l is for....I used L25 Menagerie Custodian, Toxic Wasteling, and Sister of Temptation, and beat him senseless on the first try, with no one else around to assist. Took like 1 minute.

For Western Watch, Drustvar, instead of going to the lighthouse, take the path that diverges at 18.39, 9.42 . Then hop up on the rocks at 18.25 7.34 . Use a large mount like Tundra Mammoth to jump over the dip in the path and then dismount and jump over to the cave. The pebble is on the arch of the cave exterior.

Drak'thul sometimes stands at his table and doesn't move from there for a few centuries and you can't click on the pebble. Stand behind him, talk to him so he's turned towards you, then have your camera aimed so your're looking down at the table from up high, then move your mouse carefully to the pebble - it's a bit tricky, maybe try to move your character a little to the left or right to get a good angle.

made by engineers in order to travel quickly through fatigue zones!

Honestly all you need is the Underlight Angler. Start underwater, swim for the back of the boat from the furthest tip out just south of it, grab pebble, hearth out.
I actually went through the trouble of getting this rod, since I hadn't gotten it already, and unlocked the skills. It'll take all of a couple hours if you do it right.

As of today, Baa'l in Frostfire Ridge is still bugged. But as stated below, turning on War Mode worked for me. When you approach Baa'l and Uuna gives you a shout-out you know that her de-buff works (Baa'l will also reduce in size as an indicator).
So thanks a lot for this great guide and for all the people giving helpful comments and tipps (waypoints for the Fatigue Cave, activating War Mode for the fight against Baa'l ...). /hugs from Uuna and me :-)

Finished to get Baa'l today. Was not bugged. You have to finish 2 of Uuna's Storylines first, '1, 2, 3 and 4 - A Friend' and 'World Tour'. Here is the guide, once complete you can go back to Baa'l in Frostfire Ridge and battle him. (lots of traveling, I suggest a Mage)

For the South Seas in Nazmir, I once again enjoyed being a shaman. As I was frantically looking for the stained glass window where the pebble is found (it is at the rear end of the ship - the first part you encounter) I died. And then I rezzed with a reset fatigue timer, had lots of time to pick up the pebble (#7) and hearth back.
I got there by swimming from the edge of fatigue with the legendary fishing pole (Underlight Blessing active) equipped.

The Proudmoore Keep pebble is a big of a pain as horde. You have to pass some Elite guards, so if you have an invisibility potion, this is a good time to use it. That said, you can out-run one of them (or loose them in the maze if you do not go straight to the cellar: After having turned left after the maze entrance, you can continue as far as you can and then turn right (which brings you to the entrance to another cellar)- that should make both of them turn back and then you can make your way back to the cellar you actually want).
You can get access to the maze from the south side by entering from the water at /way 40.1, 88.3. Move up the rock and cross the wall at /way 42.9, 84.2. Move to the north-east to the maze entrance at /way 41.6, 78.6. This is where you will find the two elite guards.
Enter the maze and turn left straight away. Turn right before you get to the end at /way 38.51, 80.41, turn left at the end and behind the tree, you'll find the cellar entrance at /way 37.4, 80.38. You'll have to kill the five cadets playing D&D - they are easy enough, but the fight might be tricky if you have an elite guard there as well (as described in the above). The pebble is tucked in behind the barrel you can see in the screenshot above - and the respawn of the cadets is slow so you have time.

Hunters...for Kennings Lodge pebble, use Camouflage (I also dismissed my pet), enter cave, walk around very far left edge of cave, find pebble, click. The Clatterback will kill you, but you'll get the pebble. Corpse run back to cave, rez, run away run away!

For those of you who are struggling with the pebble in the fatigue zone off the coast of Voldun, if you have the

mount you can simply watch the video for a general direction to head in and then swim that way. There is an underwater island where the water is shallow, this is the reset zone. Swim towards the edge of the isle and follow it to where the cave is (I did this by following the edge until my mini map looked like the one in the video). The mount is also perfect to comfortably swim down to the cave with time to spare :)

Interesting to note, the cave in Stormsong Valley (the one with the wheelbarrow) has some Bristleback mobs that will attack you if you are not aware. A friend told me so.

Pebble 7 strat. ok - this worked for me on a DH. Find the "fatigue" start point closest to the way point ( less than 500 yards). Get at least half naked if you want to save on repair cost from dying (this is optional). Mount up on a water walking mount (azure water strider in my case). Equip Underlight Angler. Activate Electroshock Mount Motivator being careful not to exceed 3 stacks to avoid daze and run like heck to the waypoint of the ship. After you get there dismount and swim (you will be in fish form due to the underlight angler). If it it is close you can use Coastal Healing potion and Coastal Rejuvination potion to give you a little extra time. You can use these potions back to back (no cd). Good luck - spent lots of money on repairs before taking off my gear.

No one's mentioned this, and that may be because it's obvious, but: go into your settings and turn ground clutter down to the lowest setting. The pebbles stand out and are much easier to see.

I don't know if anybody realized this, but going inside the Underwater Cave little further will reset your fatigue :D
Edit: Just pass the shadow line to reset your fatigue inside the cave.

So I have tried to weaken Baa'l with the Uuna from somebody in my group, twice with different people, and it never worked, Uuna just did not talk. At the time the World Tour for Uuna was bugged so I could not finish it myself.
This morning though after reset I have managed to finish the World Tour and right away when we arrived at Baa'ls location she weakened him and I could get the little guy. So I am not sure if it is actually working with somebody else's Uuna, for me in any case it did not. With my own, right away.

Is Uuna not working for anybody else? Nothing happens when I summon her even though I know she's ready for it cause it worked the first time I tried (then I found out I needed a lv 25 battle pet, so that was another adventure to embark on). I tried reloading, I tried walking in and out of the volcano etc... she just stands there....

This finally got me to the fatigue cave: from the fatigue recharge place, I went toward the cave until almost but not quite into the fatigue zone. Then I used Felslate Anchor. Then the subdued Seahorse mount got me to the cave before I ran out of breath or fatigued out.

I'm seriously struggling to get to the Fatigue Cave for the last pebble. Any suggestions as the coordinates seem to not take me to the proper place, not sure what I'm doing wrong as I always die before I even find the cave. Another one here who after 10 years only found out that you can die when you are already dead :D Have spent over 1k gold in repairs just trying to get to this blooming cave.

Pebble 7. After dying several times I did exactly this and it worked flawlessly first try. Started at 56.22, 11.79. Flew straight to 54.54, 7.23. Dropped and immediately mounted

I highly recommend doing it on druid. I've abandoned the idea of doing it on my main and started all over again with a druid and it was a quick one. Swimming form makes the swimming pebles quite easy, as well as cat stealth works perfectly fine for 9th peble.
For those of You wandering - You need to complete Uuna storyline in order to get Baal weakened, including the World Tour.

I was able to complete both underwater fatigue caves (Pebbles 6 & 12) with only about 8-10 seconds to spare. This resulted in me dying shortly after obtaining the pebbles and being forced to take Resurrection Sickness both times. Dying does not reset your progress on obtaining all of the pebbles.

It should be noted that # 7) The South Seas, Nazmir , you do NOT have to enter the ship. The Skull picture is located outside the ship, on the left side when you swim towards it. Don't make the same mistake I did and look for an entrance to the ship and loose precious time. ;-)

2. Does this have to be completed by the same character? In other words, could I start on a Horde character, then use an Alliance character later on? Or switch between a hunter and a druid or rogue?

For South Seas, I started at Zandalar 50.39 6.14 as recommended, and died at 54.53 7.30, right after I had clicked on the pebble, and still in front of it. No special food nor potions. I flew to 54 7 and mounted my Sea Turtle to swim/dive. I probably could have had time to hearth if the coordinates had not been off.

I just complete this!
For the very last step, Baa'l is in very center of the "Colossal's Fall".
I was not in warmode.
I had Uuna out as a "companion" as i approached Baa'l.
She says "Oooh, I know what to do with guys like this!"
Uuna yells: East starts, bad guy!"
Uuna yells: Get him, friend! Use your pet battle attack!"
I didn't use any distinct approaches or pets with the battle.
Once the battle is won he lands in your bags and then you can add him to your collection.

For the Pebble at The South Seas, Nazmir a Warlock's soulstone is what allowed me to rub the pebble. My brother logged on his Warlock and casted the swim speed spell on my hunter and gave me Healtstone. I was able to get to the glass pane on the ship but still died from fatigue. I resurrected with the soulstone and was able to rub the pebble.

FYI you can't do this on alternating alts like you can Uuna. My mage picked up the note from the bridge (step 1) but my druid couldn't click on the pebble (Drak'thul) until the druid too had flown to the bridge and got the note. So, druid it is, hoping that makes the fatigue/swimming easier. Cheers.

I have noticed that Uuna bugs if you try to summon (as I did ;o) ) while she is active...
(She said the line but I unsummon her by mistake before she interacted with Baa'l)
If Uuna does not hug you back when you /hug her, she is not fully upgraded. (wand is not enough)
Fix...
Step 1: Go warmode/turn off war mode and come back (I was WM OFF when bugged, i turned it on and came back)
Step 2 dismiss Uuna before you enter volcano
Step 3 get close to Baa'l and summon Uuna and wait
This fixed the 3 day tries (diffferent suggestions from different sites) for me. at the end ;o) Hope it helps others.

After having a bunch of problems with getting a friend's Uuna to debuff Baa'l, we figured out how to pull it off and why everyone else is having issues with it.
Have the character that needs to fight Baa'l invite the character that has already defeated Baa'l.
Have the character that needs to fight Baa'l initiate a level sync in the quest log.
This will revert the quest state for the player that already defeated Baa'l back to before Baa'l was defeated and he will become visible to the player that has Uuna
.
Have the character that has Uuna summon her next to Baa'l.
Uuna will debuff Baa'l and both players will be able to initiate pet battle. Since Baa'l is a unique pet, you can't get a second copy, so this would be purely for nostalgia.
Baa'l can't be captured, so the item will appear directly in your inventory after you defeat him in combat.

Pebble 6, in the underwater fatigue zone in Nazmir, is located outside the ship. Don't look for an entrance. It is on the tail end of the ship, on the middle window. The stern, for you nautical folk. And Darkwater Potion only works at level 49 and below. I also died.... while dead. 0.0

I completed this last night as a Horde BM hunter so I wanted to add some tips I learned along the way to help for other Horde BM hunters!
First off as a hunter I absolutely recommend going BM to tame a Water Strider as they have the spell
凌波微步
which grants you the ability to walk on water and works while mounted too! This will keep you from having to have a specific water walking mount which you WILL need/want for much of this. Water Striders also give the
寻路
buff. Combine this with the
野兽守护
talent to increase the buff to 12% and also activate the
开拓者
talent as well. Having water waking is absolutely needed and I also use it to cut through Boralus to get to Drustavar faster instead of dealing with the mountains (if you don't have any of the flight points for Horde available if you haven't done any BFA unlocking).
Other things you WILL need:

or a water mount of some sort. If you are willing to do this secret hunt you may have already done the guide for

. If not and you have no other water mounts here is the guide for this mount:

However it can take some time to get with the wait time for the world quest to pop up if you are unlucky. The swim potions are fairly cheap on the AH and will work fine. I recommend at least 5 of them.

Other things I recommend to make life easier:

use this when you need to do the Boralus maze. If you don't care about getting marked for PvP then you can skip this but I just didn't feel like dealing with that possibility. Once down in the cellar the few NPCs you need to kill are not flagged and thus will not flag you when you kill them. Guards will see through camouflage so this potion is needed if you want to sneak by.

also came in handy for me a few times but this of course is limited to Venthyr covenant only and is not needed to complete this guide. Just an extra perk if you do have it.
Use this guide here on WoW Head for double checking coords and for clarification on pictures as well as following along with this video on YouTube just search "WoW: Battle for Azeroth - How To Guide: Baa'l Pet (Horde POV)" (I cannot post the link, sorry, but I seriously recommend it).
**(note: I am not this YouTuber nor do I know them I just found it incredibly helpful to watch in "real time" someone do all these steps instead of just reading. I am a visual learner)**
Things I did to make life easier: set main hearth to Warfang Hold and have a Dalaran hearthstone from Legion. This is for people who haven't done much in BFA like I have (stoppped playing end of Legion and resubbed during pre Shadowlands). It is totally doable without flying in BFA or having any Horde flight points in Kul Tiras just a bit more annoying lol. Saving your hearth in Kul Tiras and also having the quick access to Org to get to Zandalar will absolutely save your sanity as the most annoying part of all this guide is the running around and back and forth between Zandalar and Kul Tiras.
If you need to unlock Kul Tiras on Horde all you need to do is complete at least the 1st war campaign by talking to Nathanos in Dazar'alor then head down to the docks and go to the boat on your left. That will unlock the flightpath/foothold that will take you towards Kul Tiras. You do not need to complete any other war campaigns if you don't want to.
During The South Seas fatigue race once you get close to the pebble and are running out of time and almost dead don't forget to pop

Remember you can die again even when running back to your corpse so IF you need to redo the fatigue zone runs just take the rez sickness and redo from the beginning that way AFTER the rez sickness has worn off (you want to have your max health restored to give yourself the full time you can have before you die).
And one more note for my experience for the Kennings Lodge cave with the Clatterbacks. I dismissed pets and ran into the cave with
猎豹守护
to about the area where the pebble is located and then used
假死
to drop their aggro. After I grabbed the pebble I then used
灵龟守护
and ran the rest of the way out. They aggroed me still and I ran till it dropped. I did not die during this step.
This was a wild ride and took me a few hours to complete but was totally worth it for my new little demon goat :)

My solution was by using the item Falling Flame to shoot from starting point to pebble location.
You are likely to overshoot it a bit but with the Feast of the Fishes you should have plenty of time.
Worked for me.

This was quite honestly one of the BEST guides that I have seen on Wowhead. All of the tips and tricks were spot on. I did end up dying 5 times (four times on Pebble Six, but only because I got turned around during the fatigue, and couldn't find my body twice...lol - and once with the Chitterspine in the cave - no joke that guy hits hard!). But overall all of the pictures, descriptions, and waypoints were super helpful. It is considerably easier once you are able to fly in BoA.

I'm surprised there are no comments related to finding pebble 12. I've been looking for an hour and a half with no luck. How can it possibly be so hard to find the gear in 2 square inch area?

If you don't want a headache while doing this make sure you have enough goblin gliders and something to increase your swim speed. and watch a video of the locations underwater because there's no room for error and if you die you have to take the res penalty and try again.

It should be noted that just having a fully upgraded Uuna is NOT ENOUGH. You MUST do this chain on the SAME character that did the Uuna chain. Please learn from my mistake.

Nazmir Heart of Darkness. It is not on the inside of the citadel, but on a decorative ledge on the outside. With flying, you can easily get to it on the outside. If you stand on the edge at

IF you can't see Uuna smacktalking Baa'l, you need to sync w/ whatever member of your party that hasn't done it yet. As of DF 10.1 or whatever patch this is, that immediately phased me to my friend so Baa'l was debuffed and let him beat Baa'l w/o Baa'l having 8k health etc.ks

As a note for #12 - the fatigue zone underwater cave off of Vol'dun: when in the cave, if you can't quite find the pebble and your fatigue bar is about to run out, if you swim farther into the cave you will enter a non-fatigue zone! The bar will reset and you'll have more time to locate the pebble.

As my daughter helped me to discover, YOU DO NOT NEED ANYONE ELSE TO HELP YOU GET BAA'L AT THE VOLCANO. Get up close to Baa'l in the volcano, left-click him to only select him, THEN summon Uuna. She will start talking smack to him and then tell you to battle him. Once she does that, his health will go way down to around 1000. You can use any lvl 25 pet to defeat him at that point. Once you have defeated him (cannot capture), he will show up in your bags to learn him. YAY! Hard to get but so worth it. He's so adorable!

As of patch 10.2.5, dynamic flying is now available worldwide, including in BfA zones. You can avoid dying to Pebble 6) The South Seas by dynamic flying out to the waypoint, booking it down with an aquatic mount and/or speed potion, then hearthing out. I know this is possible on a druid with Aquatic Form and Wild Charge, unsure on other classes. Good luck!
