Welcome to the Battle for Azeroth Conquest Point Overview guide! In this guide we'll be talking about the various means of earning Conquest Points, their use as a pseudo-currency, and some important information the prospective gladiators of Azeroth will find useful in gearing themselves!
Ways to farm
征服点数
:
If you're interested in pursuing your glorious rewards, the best place to find yourself is in rated pvp, as Each win*** will award you around 25-100, depending on the bracket, with the first of each day
In each bracket
being doubled for participating in that type of content. As a result,
Doing every bracket you can is highly recommended!
Outside of this-- There are 1-time Quests available from the same area as the Weekly Zone Quests, simply asking to Kill a single player of the opposite faction, which rewards 50 points of conquest.
For those getting into PVP for the first time, keep an eye out for "Cap" or "Yolo" groups in the group finder! These types are often looking for just a chance at rewards, so if you're just learning and want a less-stressful/competitive group, you can often join these with little to no experience.
Try to focus in on one of them, however, as you'll want the rewards for your gear to be as high as possible for the following week.
If the current system of honor gains is anything to go off of-- Expect the conquest gains to look something like this.

8.1 updates!
With the addition of Incursions into the game, each mission can be done (outside of a raid group) for 10 conquest each, a total of 5 are active at any given time, meaning you can earn 50 conquest per Incursion. This is in addition for the scaling faction bonus to war mode rewards for your server shard. Happy hunting!
Re: Season 2
Blizzard
PvP
Season 2 rewards from rated PvP sources are 30 item levels higher than they were in Season 1, including Conquest rewards and the weekly chest.
End-of-match rewards will be capped at 385 during the first week of the season, to maintain parity with other endgame systems until Mythic Battle of Dazar’alor becomes available.
The other major update we can expect with the weekly conquest system is that the weekly conquest rewards on non-azerite piece weeks will have an option to choose between two specific slots for that week's reward.

Season 3
PvP
Season 3 brings a wave of new player-versus-player content. Get ready to raze the enemy faction in the Ashran Epic Battleground, and take on all comers in a new Mechagon-themed Arena. Participants can earn two new Vicious Basilisk mounts, and the highest-rated players will unlock new Notorious Gladiator mounts.
REWARD UPDATES
The Quartermaster’s system has been revamped for Season 3 and now awards an upgrade token equivalent to the weekly PvP chest instead of equivalent to end-of-match reward. Completing the weekly Quartermaster’s Bounty quest by trading in Quartermaster’s Prize items will award a Warlord’s Trophy. Players can begin receiving Quartermaster’s Prize items from their Conquest schedule rewards, Call to Arms quests, and from the weekly Nazjatar world PvP event World Quest. Bonus Rolls will no longer grant a Quartermaster’s token, and players who still have Quartermaster’s Coins from the end of Season 2 will be able to sell these for 50 gold each.
Item level rewards in Random Battlegrounds have also been increased by 30. During the first week of Season 3, end-of-match rewards will be capped at item-level 415. This will require Challenger rank to earn. Beginning in week 2, Challenger rank rewards will be item-level 420.
Ashran's back on the menu PvPers! Group up and find those buffs!
Season 3 also brings an overhaul to the Quartermaster's prize systems, along with weekly world pvp quests in nazjatar.
Rewards once again increased 30 item levels.
Season 4
PvP Season 4
Season 4 brings new player-versus-player content including the new Teeming Islands Brawl. This large-scale battle brings together two teams of 10 on an island overflowing with powerful creatures. This Brawl brings an additional challenge to the shores of PvP Island Expeditions by increasing the total amount of players from six to 20 on the biggest Islands (Havenswood and Jorundall).
Participants can earn two new mounts—the Vicious White Bonesteed (Horde) and Vicious White Warsaber (Alliance) and the highest-rated players will unlock the new Corrupted Gladiator’s Proto-Drake mount.
Season 4 brings another new brawl, this time a 10v10 on the two largest islands giving new depth to the island pvp system. Fight with Honor for that Azerite!

REWARD UPDATES
Item level rewards in Random Battlegrounds have also been increased by 30. During the first week of Season 4, end-of-match rewards will be capped at item-level 445. This will require Challenger rank to earn. Beginning in week 2, Challenger rank rewards will be item-level 460.
Hitting Conquest Cap (Unranked)
There is a reward players can get regardless of ranked, by filling the Weekly Conquest Cap. If you do not fill the cap one week, you can earn the item the week after, and your progress bar will not reset. For season 4 (8.3) progression is as follows:

Season 2 Updates
Blizzard
With PvP Season 2, we’ve fine-tuned the Conquest reward schedule to provide players with more variety and flexibility to get the kind of gear they’re looking for.
Players who earn 500 Conquest points in a given week will receive one Quartermaster’s Coin and a piece of gear from that week’s selection. Players might also earn an additional piece of gear or Quartermaster’s Coin each week by using a weekly bonus roll token in PvP. 10 Quartermaster’s Coins can be exchanged for a
督军的战利品
, which players can use to upgrade a piece of Sinister Gladiator’s gear to a higher item level (based on their current Rated PvP bracket).
During weeks when the Conquest reward is a head, shoulder, or chest item, players can choose from one of four different pieces of Azerite gear. For the weeks when the Conquest reward is not an Azerite piece, trinket, or weapon, players will be able to choose gear from one of two different slots such as legs and wrists, hands and back, or finger and feet.

Changes from Previous Expansions
Conquest as a Currency
Conquest points previously were a source of "advanced" currency from primarily rated PvP activities, and used as a way to target specific pieces of gear with the caveat of specific rating requirements necessary for items of high significance, such as Weapons and Mainset pieces (way back when).
Keeping with that theme, you do still
earn
conquest with that regard, but the need to find a vendor and worry about how you will obtain specific pieces has been taken care of, as now the Progression Bar above your Group Finder/PvP tab now lists specifically how much you have, and how much you've got until you will receive your next reward(s). For example, the first level of conquest requires 500 earned to receive your 445 weapon, giving all specs something to go after.
Blizzard
Once you've hit the required Conquest Points you'll receive a quest where you can choose which weapon you want (based on the weapons your class can use), and the weapon will be of item level 445.
The 280 item level on the Conquest bar is a display error which should be fixed in an upcoming update.
"Capping for the Week"
Participation for rewards used to be a seemingly rewards-focused or 'Checklist' style, where if you'd already earned your daily or weekly goal for the week, or perhaps the Limit of conquest points during the time in which it was a currency, you had nothing else to play for but rating. This is being thrown out for a system that rewards those who play, as the conquest "limit" is not there***, and as long as you keep playing, you will earn your rewards in due time.
For those who are limited on time, there remains a way to gain additional rewards for/based on weekly performance, in the form of the War Chest. These can be found in the PvP hub areas of either the Dueler's Guild of Boralus or Mugambala in Zandalar. The rewards for this are similar in regards to the Mythic+ chest system, where earning Conquest points will (at the end of each week) give a reward in the chest the following week. The game will always choose the highest bracket
That you have played games in for the week
when deciding what rewards you're eligible to earn. Blizzard has said they intend to have higher earners of conquest able to bypass the lower level of gearing based on their rank, and this may carry over to the chest as well-- but we'll get into that shortly...
Rating-Limited Gearing
Previously, with the old system, there was either limits to the quantities of points earned, or Limiting of specific pieces of gear behind ratings.
In the Honor 3.0 system, conquest earned will give gear for each slot regardless (in a linear sequence), and following the completion of a set, will then earn higher item levels of similar pieces of gear, such as a 440 vs a 460+ piece. In obtaining a higher rating, The gear reward Ilevel will go up at a linear rate as well.
Ranked Rewards
Below is a blue post detailing the end of match, weekly cache, and weekly Azerite item rewards, which scale up based on your ranking.
Weekly cache rewards can Titanforge up to ilvl 400.
As of 8.3, Titanforging no longer can occur on items. PvP pieces can however now become corrupted.
Blizzard
Now that BFA Season 1 is underway, we’ve seen a number of questions about the item levels of various rewards and reward tiers. Here’s an outline of the current item levels you’ll see when you receive rewards from ranked

Some reminders:
End of match rewards are occasional.
For your weekly Azerite item Conquest turn-in, see Marshal Gabriel in the Salt and Shanty Inn near the Ashvane Docks in Boralus or Xander Silberman at Mugambala in Zandalar.
You’ll loot your weekly cache reward from a chest in that area.
The weekly cache items can Warforge/Titanforge.

War Mode & You
From what Blizzard has said...
Blizzard
Conquest and World PvP
In
Battle for Azeroth
you’ll earn conquest for doing PvP activities similar to how it was gained in the past: Rated Arena and Rated Battlegrounds as well as some light conquest from Unrated Battlegrounds. But what’s new is earning conquest from doing World PvP activities. This gives you an additional source when filling up that “conquest bar” for your weekly conquest item.
Bounties
One of the best ways to break things up from the grind of queueing with a team, and a dynamic group activity to do out in the world, is the PvP bounty system. Look for any players flagged on the map with
受到悬赏
, as they will award some conquest (& Honor) for slaying them-- Assuming you're still alive to loot the Bounty bag! Similar to the
(not the one talked about above), these will persist in the world for around 2 minutes after being claimed by the first player/faction to grab it. Only the faction chasing the bounty has access to the bag on the drop. This conquest reward can be obtained only once a day, but you can always get more loots such as profession materials from them! Great way for pvpers to pay the bills.
Air Drops
--
PvP - World PvP - Supply Drop - Flying Machine - Loop - CMK
-- If you hear this noise, you've got a war drop incoming! These are untracked by the map, but if you follow the trajectory of the plane until the
战争物资箱
is dropped, you'll be able to compete for the chest. If you loot it,
50
Conquest will be yours! There is usually a group for these inside the group finder addon, so keep an eye out for yours/an ear out for the sound in your zone! These are roughly spawning once every 15 to 20 minutes or so. This conquest reward can be obtained only once a day, similar to the bounties.
Weekly Quests
Once a week from the same location as the War Chest, you'll find a quest from either
Grand Marshal Tremblade
or
High Warlord Volrath
to kill 10 enemy faction members in a specific zone for that week. Doing so will earn you some conquest as well, similar in reward quality to the War Supply Chest.
In addition,
竞技场的召唤
will also award conquest as well, in the event that it's the weekly event for it, so pay attention to your calendar, as it could be well worth your while to do a few skirmishes. (Note: Regular Arenas count for the quest as well!)
War Chest Spawn Map!
By popular demand, there's been several requests to have a map of the spawn locales, as the chests are always in a set pattern of potential locations, so it would obviously help to know where those are!
To make things a little less cluttered, I've taken the liberty of separating them by zone, so that you can find your area with ease.
With most of these, the plane/zepplin will proceed in a linear path, so if you're somewhere near the middle of the path, you'll most likely find where the drop is based on a little triangulation :)
Note: The Nazjatar chest is a different item/object, linked here:

With the change to arenas becoming a tier system, Gladiator has also changed. Now, to obtain the title you need to win 50 games while on the Elite bracket, as shown by the achievement
角斗士:“争霸艾泽拉斯”第1赛季
. However, the Dread Gladiator title and other rank 1 titles for example still have the same criteria as Legion and previous expansions, requiring the player to place in the top 0.1% of his faction, as shown in
悚然角斗士:“争霸艾泽拉斯”第1赛季
.
悚然角斗士的始祖幼龙
requires 50 wins while in the Season 1 Gladiator bracket.
Gladiator Tier Overhaul
in 8.1, the 2400+ bracket was changed to reflect the differing requirements from the previously named "Gladiator" tier, which despite being an earnable title, was only acquired after 50 wins in that bracket. Now, any class that earns the 2400 rating will obtain a title as follows for the duration of that season.

%s the Elite Demon Hunter
%s the Elite Druid
%s the Elite Hunter
%s the Elite Mage
%s the Elite Monk

Odds and Ends/Random Gearing
Similar to how gear is handled in Mythic+, once you successfully complete Matches or Objectives in either Rated, or World PVP, you may find yourself with pieces of the
Dread Aspirant Alliance Leather
or other armor-specialized Dread Aspirant setpeice gear being awarded to you randomly. These pieces can also drop out of/from the Supply chests, and bounty bags, in addition to being also randomly awarded from completing skirmishes and unrated pvp. For those solely wishing to obtain the appearance, but maybe don't wish to engage in PvP, These and other similar appearances are usually obtainable for a (number of)
荣耀印记
, most likely near the Profession-recipe vendor in your faction's PvP hub.

what's the difference between a weekly PVP cache (a chest, i presume) and a weekly azerite item 'turn-in"?
see: For your weekly Azerite item Conquest turn-in, see Marshal Gabriel in the Salt and Shanty Inn near the Ashvane Docks in Boralus or Xander Silberman at Mugambala in Zandalar.
are they separate? are you guaranteed 1 azerite item for your pvp rank as well as the cache?

I completed an unrated random Epic BG yesterday and got the 65 Conquest Points, but today when I did the same I only got 15. I think the Epic one resets weekly, but the regular unrated random BG always gives 40 for the first win of the day.

I filled the conquest bar 10 times and all the rewards were like it was said in the guide. But now on the 11th time I am getting 370 azerite chest. Does this mean if I fill it 10 more times it will get 385 azerite armor? P.S. My only high rating is in RBG and it is 1660-ish. (not sure this is relevant)

What I hate about Conquest points is how they do not roll over into the next item.
Say for example you have 480 CP and need only 20CP to get your item and you run something that rewards 40CP, those extra 20CP do not roll over into the next item. What sense does this make? What is the reasoning behind such a decision?
They are points earned, they should be EARNED.

I don't understand how the "weekly chest" relates to the 500 conquest quest reward next to it? Are these two basically the same item except that the quest giver offers you a choice and the chest just gives you the default? Or is there something different?
re: the chest requiring a rated BG or Arena match - I have had the chest open for me but I have never been ranked. Maybe what that line means is that you have to have done a rated match to get any of the higher tier rewards (beyond "unrated")?

I have to curse.
Gearing is &*!@ed.
I keep saying it over and over and %^&*ing over, there's no item level in goddamned Quake. WHY in arenas, BGs, instanced PVP, do we have mythic items or item level? I could ad hominem specific people but I wont.
I won't accuse the sponsors, the gambling on esports, the merger.
Gearing is $%^&ed and unnecessary. I hate mythics. I hate arena tournaments. They're time sinks. I miss RTS Warcraft.
I want to abolish item level. It's fictional and draws away from the fun factor, especially in raids. Cosmetic unlocks is the way to go.
Botting, harassment, and boosts are the 3 big things haunting WoW at the moment, and removing the item level in instanced content (especially regarding weapons) would benefit ALL, not just the elite few. It would discourage profession robots, because the best loot comes with the subscription. Removing item level would reduce harassment, because the playing field is level. Removing item level in instanced PvP and PvE would discourage boosts, because there's plenty of cool looking cosmetic items from previous expansions to unlock.
A player leveling to 120 kicking ass all the way in PvP becomes a twig at 120. A dummy that hasn't played a single BG in months but paid for a guild boost could one shot a fresh 120 without trying (and frankly, that money should go to blizzard, not some chumps).
This doesn't correlate and reward players that are JUST PLAYING, even if it's not at high skill cap. They sunk the time in (AND PAID CASH MONEY), why punish them?
I would pay 30 a month if I got the 475 item level. I don't have the time, patience, or the tolerance for toxicity. I have lost friends. I have made many many more. I'm sick of watching people kill themselves (mentally and physically) over stupid fake stats on armor and weapons.
Why don't they have whips in the game? Why don't pole arms have a longer melee range? Where did weapon specializations go, and why can't I block attacks with a buckler sized fist weapon? Why are there no spell staves that function like two handed wands? Those are what they should be focusing on, inventive, fun gameplay, not stat bumping for item level pushes. I'm livid.

Just wondering if anyone can help me out. Finished my 2nd run through conquest 460 bars. My next one is Quartermaster Note. I recently decided "Hey i would like to try Enhance and would love taht 460 weapon." Will I ever have a chance at that in another bar or two, or am i SOL at this point?
