There have been no fundamental changes to the Venthyr covenant or any of its abilities for Death Knights in 9.1.
Venthyr Blood Death Knight Covenant Abilities
Venthyr Death Knight Class Ability:

The Venthyr Class Ability for Death Knights of all specializations is
云集之雾
, and functions in a similar fashion to
白骨风暴
: every minute, you are surrounded by a ticking AoE that, for each tick, grants you up to 15 RP, and deals heavy damage to everything nearby. This also happens to tick instantly, so, at absolute best, you are getting 10 RP from the rune spent on it, and an extra 9 ticks of 15 RP each, or a total of 145 RP over the duration, assuming you manage to hit 5 mobs with it.
It also grants you a decent amount of dodge during the effect.
Venthyr Death Knight Conduit:

The conduit available to Venthyr death knights modifies
云集之雾
in two ways: it amplifies its damage slightly, and increases the dodge chance it provides by 3%.
Both effects are worthwhile, and it will typically be a potency conduit you want to find a way to slot in.

Venthyr Death Knight Signature Ability:

Coming straight from Overwatch, this ability allows you to point at a location and, 1.5s later, teleport to it. Simple, effective, great for fast movement, and it gets modified by a few Soulbind traits to grant things like an AoE disorient on arrival (great to jump into packs), a 15% shield on arrival (great to move out of packs), or a few other additional goodies.
Simple, effective, no-fuss ability adding to our kit. I am, overall, happy with this.
Do note that it requires line of sight of the destination, so you cannot use it to do things that are
too
uncouth.
Venthyr Exclusive Legendary for Blood Death Knights
NEW Venthyr Legendary

This legendary forces you to play recklessly to optimize its benefit. Even when you play with
total
abandon, short of damage taken multipliers on your target, it is still inferior to most other legendaries. As a result, this is yet another "Do Not Craft" legendary, at least on its own. When you have access to

, things change, and this just becomes a passive, small increase in damage and healing.
Once this goes live properly, I will add to this guide how to play with this legendary in a not-so-sensible manner for content that you outgear slightly. Stay tuned!
Other Legendary Interactions for Venthyr Blood Death Knights
No Legendary modifies either of these abilities. As such, you may expect to, largely, not have to care about interactions on that front, unless something new comes out!
Blood Death Knight Legendary Guide
Best Venthyr Blood Death Knight Soulbinds
Members of the Venthyr Covenant have access, across all classes and specs, to the same three Soulbinds:
Nadjia
,
Theotar
, and
Draven
. They are the NPCs you complete the zone story with, and allow you to "attune" yourself to them to gain access to a tree of upgrades centered around your base toolkit (through Conduits) and Covenant Abilities (through special, game-wide traits).
We've summarized the optimal traits for each Soulbind below, along with potential Conduits to slot in, below.
Best Venthyr Blood Death Knight Max Renown 80 Soulbind
The addition of the new soulbind traits provide three important change of dynamic:
Nadjia
picks up two
very
strong tools -

giving you 50% additional value from health stones and potions with 0 overhealing risk, and
致命缺陷
, a dual purpose proc. In high keys, this will be 20% versatility; when going for parses, this will be 20% crit. The only downside is that its proc time is, unfortunately, largely out of your control.
Theotar
received very little additional gain from the new traits. A very weak HoT through
茶话会永不终结
and 3% of a random stat through
小队恩惠
add virtually no value to the soulbind. That, however, does not mean its 9.0 strength as a balanced choice is in any way threatened. In most cases, you'll still be standing under the umbrella.
Finally,
Draven
cements his EHP niche further, but gains a bit on the mitigation front. Still a gigantic throughput loss and still not justifiable outside of the absolute cutting edge, dangerous fights, but at least it's less of a trap now. Slightly.
We summarized all three paths below. We'd advise sticking to
Theotar
for all content, and situationally Nadjia (but this will be rare).

should ideally be used on cooldown, with the caveat that hitting more mobs with it provides linear gains up to 5 targets, and only damage thereafter. Due to its short cooldown, you will likely not be interested in delaying using it by more than 10 seconds. It is ideally suited for M+, and you will typically have it on the opener of every pull.
That's it, really. Fire and forget, largely. Quick, cheap, fun, frequent.

Depending on the Soulbind you have picked, you may have an additional effect on this, ranging from a 15% shield to an AoE disorient on arrival. Decide how you will use it accordingly; whatever you do, make sure to not teleport in a way that you will show your back to mobs (as you cannot dodge/parry from behind).
This ability can be used to skip certain packs in M+ -- refer to an actual M+ guide to see how it is used for this purpose, and if you are using it to then rez people from the other side, remember to have some runic power ready for it.
Venthyr Blood Death Knight Talent Builds
Your talent build does not change
at all
while picking this Covenant. There is no interaction with our kit, no change to anything we do, and no reason to deviate from the standard build. At best, you can sort of argue that
云集之雾
makes using
白骨风暴
easier, but it is a fringe (and discouraged) benefit.

Venthyr Blood Death Knight Gearing Differences
Following the trend set by previous expansions, Blood Death Knights still prefer raw item level upgrades over specific secondary stats. The addition of
云集之雾
, a spell which scales off Attack Power, Versatility and Critical Strike, means that Haste may be devalued
ever
so slightly for this spell.
As usual, we encourage you to sim yourself, and to also consider that, for generic play, the primary budget (stamina + strength + armor) provided by item level upgrades typically outweighs "better" secondary stats.
Venthyr Blood Death Knight Soulbinds Explained
Nadjia grants you four impactful traits:
兴奋追猎者
, functioning as a mini Bloodlust on a short stack-driven cooldown. Nothing more to say, really; nice, simple, effective.
精心准备
, acting as a multiplier on a large number of consumables present in the game.
This affects runeforges
.

causes you to gain 50% more value out of consumables (health pots and healthstones) as an absorb.
Finally,

is a very consequent crit or versatility proc after Euphoria ends. This will typically occur relatively late in a pull, but cycles from there between Euphoria and it.
In addition to this, she modifies your

in one of two possible ways:

disorients all mobs in the vicinity of the landing point of

Due to the fact that you will be picking up two Endurance Conduits already without this choice, it may be worth considering the AoE disorient purely to pick

Theotar provides access to some interesting traits:

, which randomly spawns a zone that grants you a ton of mastery while you are in it.

, which also causes

to also grant you 6% versatility for 10 seconds, along with 3% versatility for the rest of your party.

Finally, his new capstone

provides you with 3% of a stat, picked at random, when you use an item. The item has a 1 hour cooldown and the buff has a 4 hour duration. Don't like what you got? Log out and come back in an hour :-(
Even with these relatively lackluster additions, Theotar is still the go-to in most situations due to the strength of his original, pre-9.1 traits. Even with a capstone as weak as adding 3% to a stat, uncontrollably, the strength of both the umbrella and either Wasteland Propriety or Palate (depending on content) is still more than enough to go with.
Draven is the most defense-oriented Soulbind of the three, providing you access with, well, tankier options. We typically advise against this as a generic Soulbind, as EHP is rarely valuable generically. Should you need it, however, it is there for you.
Picking Draven grants access to the following:

and a very consequential amount of damage when you die.

, granting a 15% max HP shield when casting

10% stamina, and extra healing done, all this with the condition of having to stand still for 4 seconds every 10.

also turns any overhealing done to you into a 6 second healing-over-time effect (which itself may overheal)
Finally,

provides up to 3% more damage reduction, and up to 3% damage, on top of everything else.
As I am sure you can tell, all those are pure defensive options. Again, you may or may not need this, and it is a significant hindrance compared to Nadjia or Theotar in general situations. The cost is in throughput, and it is quite a consequent one.
Double Legendaries for Venthyr Blood Death Knight
Patch 9.2 adds the option of using two legendaries at the same time, with the restriction that one of them is your Covenant legendary. This change empowers Venthyr Blood Death Knight even more. You can learn more about it in our Legendary Guide.

Service In Stone, working as an additional, multiplicative Will of the Necropolis and a very consequential amount of damage when you die.
Can someone explain how these two work together?
Also “move as one” might be quite handy for a DK?
