Although not a true set, the tuxedo outfit is popular with characters who aspire to obtain a refined look.
Other tux pieces:
If you're wondering what to get for shoes, you might want to consider the Heavy Weave Shoes (
), a level 12 item you can get from several vendors.
With 2.3 these now have 39 armor...
I just noticed...
These things are level 35 and have no required level when it comes to wearing them.
all pieces of the tuxedo
, the following materials are required:
Bolt of Mageweave
(equal to 65
Heavy Silken Thread
Furthermore, you'll need a tailor with a skill of at least 250 is to sew all pieces.
They have more armor than any other non-mail level 1 armor, though.
They have armor because when you wear them you sing "can't touch this".
The Ultimate Banker's Collection:
Rules: No level requirement higher than level 5 may be used, as most banker toons exist in the range of level 1-5. Items with no requirement at all are preferred. The higher quality item, the better, but quality should never trump style. Style is greater than all. Cost should be as high as possible, to show the influence of your Banker and ability to procure and sell items. But again, style trumps cost. Points for any class being able to equip the item. More points for improving your style as only your class can and no other, as this shows more prestige and elitism. Further points awarded for using as many item slots as possible on your toon.
Tarnished Silver Necklace:
-or interchangeable with-
Formal White Shirt:
Antique Silver Cufflinks:
-or interchangeable with-
Tarnished Silver Ring:
Gold Wedding Band:
-alternate option for personal style-
-upgrade to, if desired-
Bouquet of Black Roses:
-or upgrade to the ultimate, not for the faint of heart-
Bouquet of Red Roses:
The choice of the Tux Shirt or Formal Shirt is based on style, I prefer Formal myself. Looks better on female toons. The choices of The Rock or Tarnished Silver Ring hinges on whether you prefer to show off the money you throw around or the time you throw around. Frayed Gloves, Belt, and Shoes are throw-away items, place holding. They look good with the outfit, but don't add anything to your prestige. Skinning Knife is chosen because it's totally unbreakable! Which is key for a Bank Toon, who should never waste money on important things, only on useless things. That and because it has way more class than the other Unbreakable weapon, the Blacksmith Hammer.
The Off-Hand choices are mostly up to style. I prefer the option of the single red rose, however the black options have potential for some, especcially for Undead toons. The Bouquet of Black Roses is even more prestigous however, due to the hefty increase in cost. However, the Bouquet of Red Roses is clearly the king of prestige items, due to the fact it can be used at any level and it has a proc, but only obtained in high level instances. Making it very tricky for the level 1-5 bank alt to procure.
Suggestions on improving the list are welcomed and encouraged. Banker Toons of the World... UNITE!
are now available, but before that
went very well with the tux
horde can buy the Heavy Weave Shoes from either the crossroads in barrens or the sepulcher in silverpine
i tryed the tux with both pairs of boots mentioned above and personally i prefer the Heavy Weave Shoes.
the recruits boots have a large buckle which doesnt look that great but is probably not noticable if your not looking for it.
the recruits boots are still the best value for money since theyre free (or 30s to send to your main) but its well worth it to spend the few silver on the Heavy Weave Shoes in my opinion
Blackened Defias Boots look best.
What about gloves?
Dragonrider boots don't look bad either, but they're a bit large to go with Tuxedo, I'm checking out the Heavy Weave Shoes now :)
EDIT: Heavy Weave looks way better then the Dragonrider Boots. About Gloves and Bracers, I think Conjurer's Gloves and Duskwoven Bracers look great with Tuxedo :)
I didnt know wow fashion was so interesting o_O
I found an okay hat to wear with the tuxedo pants. Durable Hat of the x. I'm also wearing a Common White Shirt (couldn't find a tuxedo shirt at the time) and Heavy Weave Boots.
The hat does look a little weird but it's the only black hat I could find.
so now non of the tuxedo stuff requires level 30 they just need level 1 so you dont have ot wait because im level 28 and i have it all
Destromath Horde whisper Alvina for full Tuxedo set and the White Wedding Dress :D
more important - not soulbound, and item level 35. Slap a high-level kit on them, and match with a jacket or simple black dress for a non-soulbound legacy (handown) twink starter set.
I have the outfit and I think it looks best on female Draeneis' and Bloodelves. But it look REALLY ugly on female orcs. And it look fine on all males. (best on Nightelf men)
Should make it epic just for the looks :p
Can make this on Doomhammer server alliance side, if anyone there finds any use for formal clothing, send tell to Jelizaveta. :)
