Has an excellent damage range for its availability, though it's a little bit pricey. However, in just one level you can use the WSG dagger for a slightly better damage range at a much lower price.

How often does this dagger appear in Gavin Gnarltree's inventory? I've been ther several times and have not seen it

I got both from guy in Duskwood. I checked one day, got it and the next day. Every time you log and you are in Duskshire, check.

...hands down one of the best level 29 BG daggers; in any case the one you can get the easiest. If you can, log out at the vendor you're camping the evening before server maintenance & log back in right when the maintenance's finished.

Good way to make money as well - as a horde rogue at 27/28, farm the Naga in SE Hillsbrad for the Flesh Piercer (2.0 15 dps lvl 24 dagger, drops oftenish - on average every 50-70 naga in my experience) & camp Ott for this knive. Had little trouble selling either for 3-4G as decent slow daggers in the 20-30 level range are few & far between (...exemplified by a Claw of the Shadowmancer that went for a 20G buyout only minutes after it'd been put up...).

Just got mine last night from the weaponmaster in Duskwood. I was getting up to 520 critical ambush strikes at lvl 30. :)

This is the best 29 twink dagger there is. It's even better than the Sentinel's Blade for backstabs and ambushes -- believe me, I've tried and tested it. After 5 months of grinding WSG at level 29, back when each flag cap gave 15 rep, I finally reached Revered and bought the WSG dagger. But after a several games, I began to mainhand the Broad Bladed Knife and simply used my new dagger for the offhand stats. For the 40-49 bracket, I recommend the Widowmaker for MH, and the Sentinel's Blade for offhand. Even with normalization, speed makes a tremendous difference in your top end damage. At this bracket, I recommend dual fiery enchants. The 40 dmg proc is huge for the level. I haven't tried +5 to it, although I would only do it if my attack power were already very high -- adding +5 would seal my opponent's fate.

a lot of people ask about Broad Bladed Knife "respawn", I don't exactly know it...but I can tell my own experience.
I bought my first Broad Bladed Knife in Darnassus at about 13:55 and the second one, in the sme shop, at about 18:35.
so, I think that "respawn" could be max 4h, 40m

where is this dagger found? I tried the merchent in darnassus but he only sells throwing weapons and didn't have this dagger what so ever.

i actually found the dagger but didnt have enough money, and when i got back to him with enough it had gone =( only left him for about 5 minutes to kill a few mobs >.<

Just picked this up from Turian in Darnassus. Visited Darkshire first and no knife, was wondering if it was even still in the game but can confirm it is! :D
