This is a really strange and annoying item to craft... because of the unique flag on it. The current solution is to sell my own one, craft the other one, trade it, and buyback my own. It just doesn't seem right though.
This item is no longer considered unique, though the only use for it at the moment might be the curator fight in kara, though even then you don't really need all this resist
The only one thing that is good about this item is that it takes you from 370-375 without losing any points like you do with the
(Imbued Netherweave Tunic)
I.E. I went from 360-373 on making the Imbued Netherweave Tunic. But i would have gotten to 379 if I had gotten skills on everyone I made. I was a little unlucky not getting skills on 3x yellow items.
But as recommended in many Tailoring guides out on the internet this is a quite cheap item to make if your going for the last points in tailoring.
Don't count on getting them sold on the Auction House for alot of money, or even more than the Large Prismatic Shard gives you on the Auction House.
I disenchanted the two of these i made and therefore got a little money back from what i thosed in to the marygoaround (I'm sorry, a swedish expression)
Good Luck hunting down The Mechanar for this recipe. It's worth it in my opinion, and you get some Sha'tar rep aswell.
On my Server, its about 7g cheaper to craft this than it is to craft Imbued Netherweave Robes.
Also, arcane dust is a LOT easier to come by than Netherweb silk.
i am wondering how well itll sell. i need to lvl my tailoring from 366-375 and i have this pattern in my bank. just wondering how much i can sell it for. and where is arcane resist needed?
Would be nice to know where this recepe drops since there are EXTREMELY few recepies at this skilllevel and it is EXTREMELY hard to level tailoring at this point.
last boss of mechanar
this set of gear is likely the best thing for tanking the mage boss in graul's lair. the gear should also be fairly good for any cloth dps type in heroic areas with the arcane ae type trash.
Dropped from last boss in Mechanar with my first run. I also got boots pattern from trash :D
Yeah, that unique BoE are total bull#$%^s.
Actually, it is only annoying, but not a problem. You can sell your robe, make a new one, send it to a friend and buyback yours.
Same with Imbued Netherweave Robe...
Got it today, but adding up the mats costes (on our server anyways), it's about 35G worth of mats to make an imbued neatherweave robe or tunic (yellow above 365), or 65G worth to make one of these (red all the way to 375). I think I'll risk the cheaper yelows to skill up to 375.
Stick these on a Blood Elf Arcane Mage, with mage armor active and you'll be kicking around 140 Arcane Resistance, and a ton of stamina to boot. Add in that cape that adds +32 Arcane Resistance you've got 172 Arcane Resistance. Not to mention more stamina than you can shake a stick at.
Would certainly help in having to deal with pretty much anything arcane related.
I like all this new resistance gear. It's very specific, and hard to apply on a day to day basis, but I recommend every arcane mage out there... Especially you blood elf Arcane Mages get a set for every kind of resistance.
If you want staying power in battlegrounds till you can get your epic PvP Gear, there's nothing like some serious shadow/fire resistance, and tons of stamina. Let those warlocks, and shadow priests think you're easy prey. Then enjoy the look of shock on their face when they can't kill you.
we did that and we died. guess swe're noobs or just not good enough gear.
theres another strategy on the curator where eveyrbody gathers up. this is especially good when you have alot of melee. Only 3 people are hit by the arcane lightning, and its really easy to heal through. I was the only priest healing the raid, while 2 shamans kept the MT alive. We got him on our 2nd try. Oh yea, we told the raiders to NOT put on arcane resist gear.
lajk =) in 1 evocation we got him from 90% to 25% so... imo arcane resistance isnt really needed :D
when we had 25% left we just killed ads as usually and nuked the heck out of him =)
Sadly we dont do kara anymore :(
This is fairly simple to make if you have enough netherweave.
Start out by creating a bunch of Netherweave Belts disenchant em for on average 2 to 3 arcane dust that'll be the main way, also if you farm he elfs around black temple you have plenty of netherweave.
