As a note, the 8 Primal Mooncloth may be expensive to obtain, depending on the drop rates and AH prices. Consider this:
Primal Mooncloth:
1 Bolt of Imbued Netherweave
1 Primal Life
1 Primal Water
Bolt of Imbued Netherweave:
3 Bolt of Netherweave
2 Arcane Dust
Bolt of Netherweave:
6 Netherweave Cloth
Primal Life:
10 Motes of Life
Primal Water:
10 Motes of Water
Final tally:
144 Netherweave Cloth
16 Arcane Dust
80 Motes of Life
80 Motes of Water
4 Netherweb Spider Silk
The motes and possibly even the primals are said to be drops (much like the current essences and such), however that's a lot of cloth to obtain. It should also be noted that there is a four day cool down on the Primal Mooncloth (like the current mooncloth).

4 Netherweb Spider Silk

From patch 2.0.7 this bag is bind on equip.
What it means, that you wont be to sell it after you used it :( Like it is in all other >16 slots bags.

Everyone keeps complaining that 'zomg these are so hard to obtain...16 days of xmutes, blah blah blah'
If you go mooncloth, shadowcloth, or spellcloth spec, people on each server GLADLY trade. You know why? -- Mooncloth, shadowcloth, and spellcloth can ALL be made on DIFFERENT cooldown timers.
Which means even if your shadowcloth -- you can trade your 2 shadowcloth, keep the 1 primal mooncloth you can make, and trade the 1 spellcloth you can make, and voila -- 4 pieces of primal mooncloth, whatever the spec, in 1 day. (obviously for the other 4 you'll have to wait 4 days.)
So all-in-all...no matter what the spec, if you want one of these badly enough - you can farm/get the mats in as little as 4 days. - If your continually xmuting cloths, then you gotta wait for that 2nd timer to come up again which means only 8 days between bags.

It is possible to obtain these bags a little faster than say 8-16 days each. If you are making them to sell for profit, just make sure to check the AH for some of your mats. If you grind some of the mats, and you keep an eye out on the AH for cheap mats you can crank these out much faster than just grinding and waiting for the cooldown.
Same strategy as the spellthreds. Grind some of those primals you'll need and just snag one or two from the AH at a decent price and your profits will go through the roof now that you are moving them much faster, even though you put some gold into the AH for mats.
Alternatley - if you aren't a tailor, you can just buyout all the Primal Mooncloth Bags in the AH and mark them up a few G each. Just make sure to account for AH deposit when marking up items.
Step 1 - watch the AH, buy cheap mats (or every bag up there)
Step 2 - ?
Step 3 - Profit!

The beauty of these things is that they allow you to get some mileage out of tailoring after you've already crafted your epic set.
As of patch 2.1 you can respec your tailoring specialization for a measley 120g WITHOUT loosing any skill points or patterns.
This allows spellfire/shadoweave tailors who have replaced their epic 3 piece set to respec and start cranking out cloth for these, because the demand for them is virtually limitless.

Unfortunately these don't seem to sell very well, as few people are willing to part with ~600g for two extra slots, and just whine about the price in /trade.This may change when high-end raiding picks up, but at the moment don't expect to get rich quick from selling them.

This is easily grindable for anyone who isnt a tailor. seriously, you can grind out 8 primal primal waters and 8 primal lifes in 1 day easily, and if you do a couple instances or grind any of the orcs in HFP or Shadowmoon, you can easily get enough Netherweave by the next day. Grinding all that much in 2 days can get you a lot of vendor trash, raising your gold to a point where you can tip for people to make you the primal mooncloths and you also should have a good number of greens, which you just get a guild enchanter to DE for you, and voila, you have enuf arcane dusts. Then you simply grind the spiders in Southeastern Terrokar for the 4 silk. Then you get a guild tailor to make the bolts of imbued netherweave, and hopefully (not required, but hopefully because it saves you having to tip for one of the xmutes) 1 primal mooncloth, then all you have to do is look for 3 other tailors thru trade chat, saying youll tip them so and so money (that you earned from seling the vendor trash you got from farming).
The only cost in the end is time, because you farmed all those mats, you got a guild tailor and guild enchanter to do some of the work for you, and the only thing you spent money on, primal mooncloth xmutes, you were recompensated with the sold 2g a stack vendor trash. =D easy as pie

These bags are hard to get for a reason they are the cream of the crop. You wouldn't be spending the money if you hadn't already got your mount, sets, enchants, etc. IMO for scaling from pre-bc with the bottomless bag to these. The BB was a lot harder to get. These require tops one day of farming motes, where the BB you needed to have raid mats and the rare pattern as well.
These bags are nice for all classes. You get 4 bag slots to do what you want with. One bag doesn't really make all the difference but when compared to the total spaces you can get out of a set of 18 slotters to a set of 20's. Its like having half a bag it's 8 slots more!
If you are one of those people that keeps everything in your bags or if you grind a lot that just means you can spend more time killing and less time flying back and forth. Also even if in Wrath of the Lich they do come out with a 22 slot bag you have these until you want to upgrade again. Plus the cost of the bags is now instead of when you are lving in the next xpack and you are poor.

Tailor or non-tailor you can easily get one bag a day with just the effort of grinding the mats.
Farm 8 primal water (wich is very easy) and 8 primal life (maybe a bit harder depending on how lucky you are with the drops).
And then another 144 Netherweave cloth and 16 arcane dust, the arcane dust can easily be obtained from any greens that drop while farming the motes, just get them disenchanted by a guildie or a friend.
The netherweave however may be a bit harder but if you have a fair stock of it on a banker from grinding aldor/scryer rep its no problem, if you dont have any netherweave contact a guildie or a friend thats grinding Scryer/Aldor rep, they will have plenty of netherweave.
Now here comes the easy part, check the ah for someone with allot of Primal Mooncloth on it, and try to contact him, or just contact any primal mooncloth tailor you know, and ask for a trade of your mats for 1 Primal Mooncloth, if they're Mooncloth specced they will have 2 pieces of cloth every cooldown, for the mats of 1 so they will most likely be very willing to make such a trade since its pure profit for them, they can make another 2 Mooncloth next cooldown in exchange for 1 primal mooncloth with you..

I grinded the mats for this in 4 hours, and bought the Imbued bolts with gold I made from trash after farming the primals. Got my guildies to make the mooncloth, 4hours work, spent 40g and came out with 10g profit.. these are very easy to make, if you have the people to do the cloth. Planning to do it again every 4 days and fill my bag slots.. maybe even my bank slots, it's cake!

To say what Sandos said in a more friendly manner:
The Primal Mooncloth 20-slot bag is being rendered obselete due to Haris Pilton's new line of jewelry and bags. However some people will still buy mooncloth bags, as it is only 2 slots and a 400-800g difference.
So tailors, expect to be making slightly less money on this.

Bah this makes little sense... Primal Mooncloth is consistently selling for 70g a piece on my server. These bags are selling for 350g give or take. No reason to make the bag and sell it, if you just want the money, sell your primal mooncloth. 70g x 8 = 560g ... even if they still sold for the 475g it says here, you'd still make another 100g almost just selling the primal mooncloth. I find this is the case for a good number of items anymore.

Any specialist can make these.
I am a shadow priest and will be chosing a shadoweave tailoring specialty.
Being a specialist in Mooncloth (or Shadowcloth) means the cooldown for making the item goes from the standard 96 hours to 48 hours.
You make your specialty cloth faster.
BTW... Don't bother with 16 slotters if you have the cash, there will be plenty of 18 slot imbued netherweave bags available also.

My math might be a bit wrong. i havent used math in a long time.
For 4 Primal mooncloth bags:
32 primal life - 320 mote of life
32 primal water - 320 mote of water
64 arcane dust
16 netherweb spider silk
32 primal mooncloth - 32 bolt of imbued netherweave - 96 bolts of netherweave - 576 netherweave cloth
thats allot of stuff. i might be wrong in my calculations. my brain stopped working about half way through. so i had to really think about what was going on lol. i got confused 5 times while trying to type this down
but for 1 primal mooncloth bag
8 primal water - 80 mote of water
8 primal life - 80 mote of life
16 arcane dust
4 netherweb spider silk
8 primal mooncloth - 8 bot of imbued netherweave - 24 bolt of netherweave - 144 netherweave cloth
oh. and there is one more thing needed to make these
1: find a tailor that will help you
2: work your ass off for all the mats. (if you dont buy from AH)
3: find tailor willing to make primal mooncloth for you. then find 32 more tailors willing to do it. (if your not a tailor, or lvl 375 tailor)
4: last but not least. you must decide. do you want to sell what you just had made for you (if someone else made it) that you worked your ass off to get, or use the 4 bags. wich if you were able to farm for everything. you more then likely have atleast 16 slot bags. so that is a grand total of an extra 16 slots for your bag space. not bad at all honestly.

TBC now has it so tailors can become a specialist, like blacksmiths and leatherworkers. It requires a level of 350 in the skill and a quest to complete, varying of course by which of the 3 professions you choose.
The specializations and recommendations are:
Shadowcloth - shadow damage (Warlock)
Mooncloth - healing (Priest)
Spellcloth - damage and healing (Mage)
I'm a priest, and becoming a mooncloth tailor. I'll be able to make these soon enough. They don't bind!

I am a mooncloth tailor and I really doubt that there will ever be a mass production of these bags.
They are really expensive: the cooldowns..., the whole
Primal Water
you need to farm..., etc.
Stack to the
Imbued Netherweave Bag
, 18 places and they are way less expensive! These Mooncloth bags are just for people who have too much time or gold ;)

ive made 1 so far and sold for 800g. i only bought motes of waterand farmed the rest in no time. I made 700g profit and will be well on my way to my epic flying mount by selling these bags. In comparison to Bottomless Bags when lvl cap was 60, these are much more cost efficient and dont take 48 days to produce if you are making them by yourself. Find a few guild members that are spec'd in tailoring differently and im sure they will be trying to craft their soulcloth set or what not, tell them you will make them the cloth they need in exchange for the cloth you need since they are all on seperate timers. It works out well and if you get 3 or 4 people to participate you can turn out 1 a week. Very easy gold!

Ok guys a small comparison:
Mooncloth - 4 days cooldown - 2 felcloth ( 2 g overal ) - on most servers the price is somewhere arround 10g.
Primal mooncloth - 4 days cooldown ( the price - so far- it pretty much varies on the servers - having in mind that primal mana vary from 10g up to 40-45g on different servers ) - still this is one of the new cooldowns so if I'm about to sell the mooncloth ... I'll put additional 40g over the price requeired for the mats - so on my server this will mean that the mooncloth is worth 100-120g. On my server primal mana is 40g ( sometimes 30-35 very rare ).
If I'm about to make a profit for making this bag , I'll put additional 50g for crafting it ( whoever is saying that it's too much can feel free to lvl another char, lvl the skill to 375 and start making those bags too see how he will feel selling item requiring 375 skill for free! ).
So overral= 8x100-120+50+netherwebs(5-10g)30=1000g average, low populated server - max 1100g, lowest price 850g if you ask me. Both tailors and customers should have this in mind!

To determine if these are profitable, you can pretty much ignore the 4 day cooldowns, and whether you farmed for the mats or bought them, and simply calculate if the bag will sell for more than the individual mats would. Most crafted items sell for less than the mats would because people are willing to take a hit just to get skill points. With this being a 375 (max) required, no one <should> want to make one to sell, unless the bag is worth more than the mats. Unfortunatly, on our server, it isn't. In fact probably the only profitable items tailors can make are the 4 cloths on cooldown, and items that require primal nether (BoP).
This means if you want to buy a 20 slotter, you're better off buying the mats and getting a tailor to make one for you, which there should be plenty of.
If you're on a server where the bag is worth more than the mats, then a few tailors will figure this out quickly, and buy the mats/sell the bags until they become roughly the same price. This is imo why high end items should require a cooldown, or BoP component.

I've been trying to sell mine on Zangermarsh for a couple weeks now. It won't even sell at 325g. Better off just selling the mats.
评论来自
Thottbot
On my server, the silk goes for around 10g a pop, and the cloth varies from 40-50g. You're looking at around 1000g total, whereas the bags won't even sell for half that.
When you can get the mats for the netherweave bag by just grinding on random 65+ mobs for 30-60 minutes, people just aren't going to pay that much more for 4 extra bag slots. It's incredibly cheaper and smarter to create a mule alt if you really need the space.
Besides, everyone wants the epic mount, so they're not about to drop that kind of money on a slightly larger bag.
评论来自
Thottbot
so this is the biggest sized bag so far?
评论来自
Thottbot
One fact that may drive prices up on some servers is the pvp part. While it may be easy to far the mats for this bag the players for the other side think so too. There are few good place to farm the spider silk so it is not unusual to get ganked and camped while farming there. The motes of water have the same problem. So yes the farming can be easy but also very time consuming when you have to watch your back and stop a lot to fight off other farmers.
评论来自
Thottbot
Pain in the ass! 80 motes of life, 80 motes of water, 4 day cooldown between primal mooncloths...is it worth it for just two more measly slots? Imbued Netherweave Bag is 18 slots and all those mats are easy as pie and cooldown-free.

Wow.. I've now seen them as low as 200g on the AH now (still didn't buy). At 200g, it's debatable whether it's worth buying at this price point.
Blizzard really had their heads up their as*es when they saw the effort from going from an 18 slot to a 20 slot bag.
You can practically farm an 18 slot bag in an hour.

Well... let's put it this way: if you're a lock (1 bag lost for soulshards), an enchanter or alchemist (another bag full of profession related stuff) and a quest freak such as myself (another half bag full of quest stuff), you will definitely need all the space you can get! So, arm yourself with patience and start farming!

Not to mention Hunters who have one bag lost to their ammo. 6 slots is a lot of space!
评论来自

All you need are toons that are a transmuter, a mooncloth specialist and a disenchanter and these come very, very easily. Also, people are talking about it is only an extra 8 slots, have they forgotten about their banks? I have these through all my char's slots and his bank slots. Until Blizz introduce a wardrobe or something for us warriors we need the space for all our different resist, DPS, and tanking gear (and other crap ;) )
Also, 300g you can make in 3 days of dailies. What else are you millionaires spending your gold on? :P
评论来自
Thottbot
Well, depending on the person and type of character they play, EVERY slot is a needed slot, whether it be 1 extra or 4. My main is a 70 Feral Druid so at any given point, I may be asked to Tank or DPS or even heal. In that case I need to carry 2 additional full sets of armor. And a full set almost takes up the 16 slot itself. Luckily I dont heal, as it as im not spec'd for it, but that doesnt stop people from asking.
If you have the extra gold, and if it is seen as value to you, then buy it. It's no different from grinding instances to get purples when you know there are some blues and even a few greens that may be better suited to how you play.
评论来自
Thottbot
Well, if you use these bags for your bank, which I will once I can make them, and I'm PM spec, you have what 8-10 bank slots? Not sure, WoW isn't up, but you figure 2-4 extra slots (Netherweave bag vs imbued netherweave bag) thats 16-32 extra slots which is 1-2 bags! Makes it seem worth it if you can add an extra bag.
If you carry them on your person, that's 96 spaces(4x20+16) which is better than 80 spaces(5x16) or 88 spaces(4x18+16).
I doubt anyone will read this post seeing how it's on the bottom of the page, but that's my opinion of it being totally worth the 350g in mats per bag
