Used by Paladins, an effective Relic for flash healing. A lesser version, the Libram of Divinity (
) can be obtained from Scholomance.
The Libram does not actually add 83 healing to your FoL spell, but a smaller amount according to the formula's blizzard uses for this bonus:
1.5/3.5 = 0.428
83 x 0.428 approx. equal to 36
So, each flash of light will give 36 extra points healed.
With 2.4's upcoming nerf to the Kara libram (currently gives 105 healing to FoL, it will change to 60 healing), this may be some people's libram of choice, since the Kara libram only works if the target has BoL.
Note this is 4 more to +healing to FoL than the Nagrad one.
I am raiding in Sunwell and unless we have three paladins in the raid I will
quite often still have this libram equipped (no blessing of light to make
any use of Karazhan libram).
In 5 mans I always use this, level 60 item and in some ways still the best.
The mp5 badge libram from badges can of coarse be rotated in use
with this via a macro if needed.
finaly a good pali relic. Probably clost to impossible for most palys to get.. but still at least its available.
Drops off of Noth the Plaguebringer
this would finally be a remarkable libram (aside from the lower one)...im glad they put it in :)
dropped from noth the palguebringer
Now THIS is an impressive paladin Libram... Flash of Light at maximum rank heals a little more than 400HP per heal, and this is a pretty big % increase to that.
Yes its big. I need it.
but as a holy paladin with a lot of stuff, enchants and trinket, my flash heal are most of the time between 800 an 1300 already (i have the blue libram of divinity already). so it will make only a +30 bonus overall.
i dream of a bigger flash heal (rank 7) in AQ20
or a revised rank 6 with increased healing. the basic 360 of our flash heal rank 6 is kind of a joke for a level 60 spell.
I've only seen 1 pala with it at Magtheridon ;p
yes it is only for pallys if u read it increases healin for our 'flash of light' spell. and the fact it's a libram too
I must say that i don't really find this libram THAT amazing compared to the Libram of Divinity, which i am running around with now.
If you think about how far between them there is, +30 more healing to FoL is not much. Besides that we only gain like 42% from the total +healing we got.
i'm "only" running around with +684 healing atm, so my FoL rank 6 heals for about 850 with BoL only, and up to ~1500 with trinket on a crit.
I still have a lot of things to impprove, don't have the JM 5set bonus yet. and og yeah, FYI i'm wearing plate only
None the less, +30 healing is gonna be a smaller contribution to my healing, so i'm gonna take it for sure, but i still think blizz should have made it better considering where you have to be an end game instance raiding guild.
All in all, blizzard is really holding back paladins when it comes to healing items that doesn't say "plate" or "paladin. GIEF MORE PALADIN ITEMS! :P
I was just inspecting a pally today on Gorefiend server and noticed this on him. And I thought Libram of Divinity was the only choice. Boy was I wrong. lol. Came here to look it up, and yup, sure enough... Naxx. He also was wearing Death's Bargain, a shield dropped from Naxx, and Bloodcaller, a one hand sword dropped by Hakkar. Being a fairly new pally myself, I was jealous; but I think almost anyone would be jealous of Naxx epics.
(No trinkets, noncrit, just BOL)
Your Flash of light heals you for 1011
:) Noth's a fun fight and the reward was just as sweet.
This baby drops from Noth the Plaguebringer in Naxx. Gl in attaining it.
