It happened to notice that projectiles do not add X damage per second as the description says.
I use adamantite shells atm, and when I unequip them(or try lower dps bullets) the results on my dps aren't obvious at all.
I have:
461-556 damage and 1.81 speed(280.8 dps) with adamantite shells on.
And
353-449 damage and 1.81 speed(221 dps) with no bullets at all.
That's a difference of about 107-108 damage or 59.6 dps here. Not at all 43 that the bullets claim they add.
Before you say that my dps with no bullets can't be that it's just -43, I tried using some accurate slugs(+13 dps) I got from a vendor, and my dps got to 239.4. I just can't figure out how is the +dps calculated.
I didn't get anything in the net and my only find is that (280.8-221)/43 = (239.4-221)/13 ~= 1.38.

Any ideas?

I'm about as !@#$ed off as I can get right now. I dont' use guns, nor do I want to use guns. I use bows, and the equal to this for arrows is a mother $%@!ing BOP schematic that I can't even farm yet and won't be able to until I hit netherstorm!! This is complete and absolute BS as not only can I not get the schematic for my arrows, but I can't even find them the arrows or the arrow maker in the AH or someone that can make them for a reasonable price!

With these being the second-best ammo for guns, I'd hoped to gain quite a bit of skill from this pattern...

It's yellow as soon as you learn it! :(

... Ah well, it stayed yellow until at least 345, and gave me a skillup nearly every time - about a dozen stacks to get from 335 to 345.
