I hope this looks cool with primal mooncloth set to boot.
Where can I learn this pattern please ?
The recipe for this Hat drops from Warp Splinter, the last boss of 'The Botanica,' which is a wing of the Tempest Keep instance.
Probably about 1-2% drop chance, much like the epic recipes that dropped from 5-man bosses in classic.
The stats on these were upgraded to 15 int/ 15 stam after tuesday's patch.
The Whitemend set seems to have been made to compliment the Primal Mooncloth set to be a sort of "Not really a set" 5-piece set of gear to get made up before you begin lvl70 raiding. They even compliment each other visually.
this is probably the best healing head piece for priests at the moment.
the stats are:
you can reach
150 +healing and a staggering 20 mp/5.
pretty nice overall
200-400g for a primal nether?
I farmed the mats for this and had mine made last night for 75g (nether), i'm a tailor and just used my shadowcloth/spellcloth cool downs and traded them for primal mooncloth.
Took me 2 days to get friends/guildies to make the 10 total I needed.
It's not near as expensive as people are making them out to be. :)
Pants use same guide as pants for hood
Primal nether can u get for 50-100 g, try to ask many tailors and take the cheapest
Total materials for making this are:
creations if you aren't an alchemist and/or tailor.
Wowhead AH price (Actual Hood):1500g
Wowhead AH price (Materials): 1050g + Primal Nether
I noticed the head piece is BoE, but my question is, is this head piece only available to tailors, or can it be bought, from say the AH?
If fully slotted and glyphed for a total of +89 healing and +7 mp5 is it better than
Headdress of the Hight Potentate
I have had the potentate helm from Kara for a while now and read a few forums stating that the hood was better however there is such an extreme difference in +stam, +intel, and +spirit that I feel I just made a 1500g's worth of mats blunder having this crafted... Did I?
(...and should go whole hog and have crafted the
for the set bonus?)
I have a Holy Priest, and I can say with the utmost confidence that spending all of the gold for the mats to craft this hood is not worth it at this point in the game.
Just be patient, and wait for Prince to drop T4. It shouldn't take but a few runs to get one.
I can craft this on Twisting Nether Alliance side and the stats is correct :>
anyone on balnazzar alliance side that can make this?
anyone know if this will stack with the Paladin Talent: Holy Guidance?
i would assume it does being an epic and all but you know.
Me Sharix at Stormrage can craft it.
As far as I can tell, the description doesn't mention the fact that you need a 350 Tailoring skill to equip this item. Had one made last night and was extremely dissappointed to learn I couldn't use it beacuse I am not a tailor.
Can any horde on the Jubei'Thos realm make any of the whitemend gear?
the stat is wrong.
I make and sell these pretty regularly on Doomhammer, though the median price for this (and most things) on Allakhazam is higher than what it fetches there. Typically 1000-1100 is a good selling price there.
Can craft depending on Nether availability at the time =)
i got the pattern but need 15 more tailoring skill to craft it :P
Whisper "Zepar" on Dunemaul *EU* to see if i can craft it yet :)
I can make this, on Moonrunner. Ask Katlynn.
Lìlyth, Horde, on crushridge server, i can craft it.
People don't care if jimbo can make it on blah server. Thanks for those that provided
information about this item.
To make the
, you need:
- 10x Primal Earth
- 10x Primal Water
- 10x Primal Air
- 10x Primal Fire
- 10x Primal Mana
each transmute. (24 hr. cooldown)
There is a new patch that will be coming out shortly that you will be able to change what type of tailoring you do. It will cost gold to do and will increase if you do it again...just like a respec
i put the 9 healing and 2 mana tick in red and blue sockets and the healing-int luminous noble topaz into the yellow.
remeber a purple gem counts as both red and blue sockets and a orange for yellow and red.
not teaching to suck eggs but some people may not know
I would suggest put 9 healing 2 mana5 in all three sockets losing the bonus.
If you put 9 healing 4 int in one, you lose 2 mana5 and get 8 int (4 gem+4 bonus).
2 mana5 > 8 int because
8 int = 120 mana = 60 ticks of 2 mana5 = 5 minutes
so a battle of 5 minutes will make them equal, but usually a boss fights last longer than that, so 2 mana5 > 8 int
Just for the point
Dazzling Talasite = 4 int 2/5
Royal Nightseye = 9 heals 2/5
^^ to the above poster, Yes you can have these 2 pieces made and wear them if your a tailor or not they are BoE. It's the primal mooncloth set that is BoP and also requires primal mooncloth specialization to make and wear.
More of a 27 healing 4mp5 8int vs 48 healing imo, but yeah.
18healing gems x 3 = 54healing ^_~
Lucky for me I have an alchemist and many a friend who are Primal Mooncloth Tailors.
Quick question though. Is this hood definatly worth the mats? I've seen a lot of nice looking epic head peices, but my luck when it comes to raids and instances is rather nihil.
Thanks in advance for the help given <3
yes, very worth the mats. combined with the pants and the primal mooncloth sets it's easily one of the best healing sets in the game. better than most of the instance drops really.
Imba hood, got this on my Priest.
Lustrous Star of Elune
where does this pattern drop?
Where does the recipe drop from or is it from a vendor?
