These are a godsend, they remove all poisons and diseases of any level, I recommend carrying a stack on you at all times.
kurzen jungle fighters drop them too
I was just wondering why Anti-Venoms are so hard to make and why only the lowest rank is trainable, then I saw these which are easier to get and miles better. :<
These do not seem to be working in Tanaris against the bugs in the Gaping Chasm. It wont remove their venom sting :( makes me sad!
Great potion. always have a stack with me. and much easier to farm then the anti-venoms found in the first aid prof.
35% droprate my ass. These have about a 5% droprate.
This is very good free tool for rogues and warriors. At high lvls there are some nasty disease and poisons. So keep a few on you at all times.
I wish they would make this an alchemy recipe...maybe as part of the quest reward, you could get the recipe to make it
This was good when it was on the non-combat timer of 3 seconds, now with the last patch, they put it on the combat timer, so if you take it, you have to wait 2 min to use another potion... restorative elixir isn't on the combat timer, and takes off magic and curses
i go farm these regularly.. also i have the recipe for restorative potion, - i'm warrior so together with my firstaid these are superb. might not be that good in combat, but they are excellent after combate to get fit for fight quick :D
I had a friend duel me using crippling and deadly poisons and it removed them both. It removed one stack of deadly poison at a time but does have a 2-minute cooldown.
While fighting against scorps and spiders in Silithus, I was able to remove the scorpian venom sting off of the lvl 54 mobs, but neither the scorp or spider poisons/venom off of the lvl 55 or higher mobs.
I can't stress enough how useful these are. I'm Lv57 mage and I always keep a stack on me. Been using ever since that quest.
Seemed to work on the ZG Spider boss's poison volley. A druid may have gotten a cure off on me right at the same time I clicked the potion, however.
Crippling posion is a lvl 50 poison :)
thats rank 2
It's very simple: The higher level an ailment, the more likely this and other similar items will fail. The chance of failure isn't known to me, but it's speculated that certain items have higher 'base' levels and that the level of the cure is judged against the level of the ailment and success is calculated from that.
does not work at 70
tried it 3 times with hunter - it didnot work
Sucks balls doesn't even work on my lvl 50 druid nor on my 70 rogue....
My 27 priest was trying to use this on my poisoned warrior friend yesterday as we were fighting spiders under level 30, but I kept getting the message "nothing to dispel." Has anyone else run into this? I am rather disappointed that it didn't work.
On my level 29 hunter I made for pvp (Not a twink I just like to pvp as a hunter) I use these all the time to get rid of crippling poison. It has saved my life so many times especially against highly twinked rogues that would kill me in less time than it takes for the poison to go away.
I'm also still carying this around..... I feel like a nerd.
These are nice to have as a backup when you're going into Naxxramas, since they can remove the deadly Poison Charge the trash in Spider Wing puts on you (poison dot that ticks for 2500, guaranteed death if you're not cured).
Surprisingly there is no level restriction to the disease or poison this can remove. It works even on afflictions you find in the plaguelands.
Freaking useful, these. Decent work rate-- I've dispelled level 50+ debuffs with them-- and can be farmed painlessly. Extra good for people who solo and can't cure poisons/diseases.
There are a few options for removing poison effects for classes/races that don't have a poison removal ability (i.e. Dwarf racial
or a Druid's

start the Potion CD, whereas
do not, so they are the superior choice for removal.
requires you to give up a trinket slot, but if the poison was longer than the 30secs it takes to CD after you equip, you could keep it in your bags to remove poisons without needing to carry other items.
Shares a cooldown with Potions so it's generally not worth using over anti-venom for Poisons. It is however the best option for removing Disease effects for classes that can't.
You do not need the quest to get these to drop. Focus on the casters in the cave and you get get 5-6 per clear. Log, wait 10min and repeat. Decent droprate, and saves a ton of money compared to antivenom.
