For all the other 'food buffs' there seems to be a fishing option and a non-fishing option - ie for +spell damage you can fish up icefin bluefish, or you can farm Chunk o' Basilisks (and Serpent Flesh for horde). Same for agility and strength.

There seems to be no comparible land dwelling meat you can farm for the +healing food!!! /cry

This isn't that hard to fish if you have a little patience and plenty of lures in your bags. You also fish up a fair amount of https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=27425 which is made into https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=27662 which isn't a bad buff for healers, especially druid ones.

It's worth mentioning that for spirit based healers, this at a certain gear level and with buffs will give more regen than https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=27663 .
With the healing and spirit (which will give more mp5 the better your gear is) this has to be the best food for a priest or a druid healer.

Edit: When saying that it will become better as your gear does, im refering to the change to spirit based regen where you get more mp5 from each point of Spirit as your Intellect gets higher.

All I know is that the new food is nice in general... 23spelldmg - 44healing - 30stm - agi - str - int... it's all there really.

These fishes are pretty hard to catch tho... Even with my base 304skill + 25 from pole & lucky fishing hat & 75skill lure I still get a lot of "your fish got away" messages...

I can suggest one thing tho. Roam arround the rivers in Terokkar. There are pools that drop these fishing. Same pools can also drop stuff like mote of water & "goldenscale vendorfish" which can be sold to a vendor for 6gold each O.o

Fish in the pool/river just outside of stonebraker hold in terrokar. Its about 20% drop. You need about 350 + 100 to fish comfortably.

I believe you need a skill of 450 with fishing buffs to fish in this area. So 350 fishing with +100 lures, or 375 with +75 lures. Of course theres other pieces like the +20 pole, but from what I read its a 450 zone, so get your fishing level + gear up to 450 and you should be fine.

Tip: grab the fishing rod quest in lower city, shattrath. Easy quest, takes 20 minutes, you get a +20 pole. Right now my fishings at 337, +20 pole, and I have stacks of +75 and +100 lures. I should be fine fishing for these with +100 lures along with my +20 pole. 337 + 100 + 20 = 457, but those lures are a pain, so I'll keep level'ing my fishing to 355 in zangermarsh, then I can use the 10 minute +75 lures.

310 isn't high enough to cast in Allerian, but 385 sure is. All the places sound like they're in Terrokar, not sure if there are easier spots to fish in. All I could seem to catch was Barbed Gill Trout.
