This food grays out for cooking at 350 and can be gotten at 310, excellent for grinding.
This item not only affects a hunter's pets, but also a warlock's minions. I highly recommend any player that either of these classes to get this recipe.
Didnt know that Delily, thanks =D
It also works on enslaved Demons, mind controlled pets (it breaks the mind control, though), Water Elementals, and possibly on Shaman elementals, too.
Though this item is purchased from Sporregar Quartermaster it does not require rep and is not bind-on-pickup. Therefore it can be purchased by a friend or an alt for a cook who may not be able to obtain it, and it can be sold in the auction house for pure profit as Glowcaps are so easily obtained.
To gain reputation with Sporeggar, go and see NPC 'Fahssn at 19,62. See Fahssn's details for quest details. The quests gain you 750 rep and killing the Bog Lords gain you 15 rep reach.
horde have it to can't remember were i seen it but they do have it
This recipe is sold in sporegarr by the quatermaster.
ok. so what rep do I have to build and how?
Is this recipe BoP? I really want it, but level 55 is a little low to be in Zangarmarsh!
Hopefully we will see more of this type to come for pets. Maybe agil. or other attributes.
Just so you dont waste your time running out there to grab thislike I did, this recipe requires some level of reputation with Sporeggar. They seem to start out "unfriendly."
My cat wouldnt eat it
Vendor is Located 17,51 inside building
neutral is required but easy to achieve by doing 2 or 3 quests
Nice to carry around, and just helps pay off when to your working on spore rep. The FEN striders actually drop the spores you need to cook these. So if your outside outlands, don't bother with the recipe until you can hunt the supplies. And from what I hear, Warlocks, Hunters, and Mage's elementals eat these.
don't try feeding this to your pet. YOU eat it (by right clicking it) and then your pet gets the buff. they do this because hunters are the only class that can actually feed their pet. this way, any class can buff their pet. just wanted to clarify that.
Anyone aware of another pet food/buff like this?
Doesn't work with shaman earth / fire elementals, but DOES work with mage's water elemental. Bit odd really.
Warlocks: This applies to whichever pet you have out. If you dismiss it and summon a different one, the buff doesn't apply... resummon the original one and the buff is back! Not sure if the buff survives the pet's (or owner's) death. Great for warlocks!
Mages: Unlike normal well-fed, it is instantaneous on your water elemental... which is a good thing since it must be summoned before you can eat the snack. Unfortunately, the effect is gone when the 45-second lifetime is over. Also, the elemental is probably in battle so it doesn't really have time to fill the extra ticks on that health bar - not worth using for mages IMO.
