As undead holy/disc 70 priest I have this head with head enchant Glyph of Renewal ( https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=29190 )- which you can get if you are revered with Thrallmar ( https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/faction=947 )

If you are a aliance player, to get enchant you need be revered with Honor Hold ( https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/faction=946 )

not to say i am 200% correct but...

Watcher's Cowl > Whitemend.

Watcher's cowl gives 21 int more and 6 sta + 14 spirit ( 14 mana regen in the new patch) and the same amount of + healing. even thought that Whitemend is socket it's not that easy to find gem's who gives more than 21 int and at least 3 spirit do to the 11 mana reg on whitemend. i love watcher's cowl. said the lvl 70 priest with 465 int and 372 spirit :) so to say it i better like watcher's cowl than whitemend.

I just got the Watcher's Cowl last night. Personally, I think the glyph of renewal from being Revered with Thrallmar is your best choice.

Decent helm to start with for Holy Priest/Resto Druid when going to Kara, will give u a good amount of Bonus Healing

Would this be better then shamanistic helm of second sight with +18 healing in em all maybe + 13 for a resto shammy? my buds swithing to resto.

Personally, I find this item to be a little weak for the fact that it doesn't have much spirit. But, it is a lot easyer to obtain. I use Scintillating Headdress of Second Sight. And I put the revered Honor Hold glyph on it. This is still good for classes who aren't able to run heroic Auchenai Crypts (we all hate Shirrak)
