Ridiculously good healing boots when royal nightseye are used.
Trades a bit of int and healing for spirit when compared to
from Leotheras. Better than shade's boots imo.
is a random drop in the instance from bosses, and is arguably superior (or at the very least, an alternative) to this drop.
Sort of lacklustre in comparison.
Socketing these with Sparkling Star of Elune (
) and Teardrop Living Ruby (
) would yield:
If these are stats you're stacking, nothing compares. If these are stats you're not stacking, try the mp5 alternative:
Boots of the Long Road
These visually match the T5 armor for priest
That's from Fathom-Lord Karathress in Serpentshrine Cavern
These things are hot. Throw a few Mana/5 gems and some healing and you have some serious priest boots.
Where can i get these
if you need the sockets for the 300mana proc meta.
I would take Boots of the Incorrupt from Aran over these any day. With the option of upgrading to Boots of the Long Road too, these are really weak.
These vs Boots of the Incorrupt:
(Using +18heal and +9Heal2mp5 gems)
In this case it's a toss up as to whether you are stacking Mp5 or Healing. Once meditation becomes 30% of spirit, these boots will beat Incorrupt if you have 5 points in it, though hardly by a mile. I certainly agree that these are more of a sidegrade than an upgrade.
These vs Boots of the Long Road
The jump in healing is greatly reduced, the Mp5, Stam and INt lost increased, altogether clearly making Boots of the Long Road the best of the two.
I'd like to point out that losing stamina and intellect is not really worth comparison. There are plenty of fights in SSC and TK where you can avoid almost all significant damage while healing.
Also, considering the priest spirit talents and new mana regen formulas, these boots are actually very competitive with boots of the long road. You have to keep in mind it has two gem slots, so there's room to upgrade those with epic gems in the future, which will make these even stronger.
