I can't speak for everyone but these gloves appear to be a very small upgrade over Tier 4 or Saintly blessings.
with an extra 25 healing and 4 Mp/5 when socketed are only about 12 healing and 2 mp/5 behind
Incarnate have far less healing but some might prefer the higher mp/5
Again these are better than tier 4 and the kara gloves, but they are definitely a smaller upgrade than what you might see in other slots, and thus the sort of item you might pass on until later.
I find there are several peices of the set that I'll defer on wearing individually until I can get the 2pc set bonus.
These gloves now give +26 damage along with the +healing in patch 2.3.
Compared to the recently added Light-Blessed Bonds from Ger'as, these gloves are now a sidegrade that will, at best, be the fast way to acquiring 2-piece bonus. Outside of that, they add regen, a small amount of stamina, at a cost of 15-20 healing. Depending on how badly you want 2-piece, they're only marginal in value.
Here is the Stat comparison to the Tier 4

Does anyone know how to actually get this set? I see the icons in the corner but i dont know where to get the items...
that's why we have different specs and some ppl enjoy playing shadow spec and therefore want spell damage. what is so difficult to understand about that and doesn't mean you should just go play a lock, i can't stand when ppl say that.
To the ones up above asking where to get the items for this set you have to run gruuls lair, one in HFC and serpents lair. the bosses in there will drop the items. now you know.
Priests are NOT only meant for healing, some people may want to become a shadow priest because of certain spells and stuff warlocks/mages dont have and you all should respect that. They can do just as much damage as a lock n mage. it's the players choice, not yours, learn to respect it. not all priests do, and not all of them ever will go holy specced. deal with it nubs, and stfu.

As aldor priest return the token to the vendor in Aldor Rise(up the steps). The vendor on the right is for T5, left is for T4. You can choose if you want the DPS or Healing item there. Make sure you get the right one, cause there's no changing back.
About the discussion on Shadowspecced priests, there's no discussion. Both speccs have their advantages. In a raid shadow priests ARE needed aswell as Holy priests. If all priests would go Holy, the raid members will be getting mana issues especially mages (arcane absolutely). If all priests went shadow the raid wouldn't get healed enough cause shamans are nice healers but both they and pallies can only overheal. No efficient healing at all.
And about the DPS shadows do: A good shadow can out-dps a lock and mage easily. Same with holy priests leading the list on pallies and shamans.
Go Go priest.
