Paladin Goggles for the new content patch.
As of now, from what I saw, only if your class is Paladin will you see these from the Grand Master Trainer.
You can learn this recipe at level 350 engineering from any of the Grand Master Engineering trainers.
These are great 5man/Raiding goggles. Mask of Penance is a few stats off, but the advantage is the Meta gem socket. If your not an engineer, dont rush to 350 if you want them. I hope they look neat :D
These will also need a primal nether to craft. (new PTR notes)
Looks like they've just re-tunned them again:
Current stats in PTR are:
Socket bonus: +4 spell critical strike rating
Equip: Improves spell critical strike rating by 39
Equip: Increases healing done by 101
These are insanely good, and they're not too expensive to craft either. Recommended.
The above listed materials aren't accurate any more, here's my list:
30 Knothide Leather (around 22G 50S) = 6 Heavy Knothide Leather
6 Khorium Ore (around 12G) = 3 bars
10 Mote of Fire (Around 27G) = 1 primal
120 Adamantite Ore (around 66G) = 60 bars = 6 hardened bars
48 Fel Iron Ore (around 24G) = 24 bars
32 Eternium Ore (around 64G)= 16 bars
1 Primal Nether
2 Dawnstone (around 56G)
Making your total costs around 271G 50S
This estimate is calculated using the current buy-out prices listed on wowhead, so you might end up well under the price (with farming, friends/guildees helping out and by bidding and not using the buy-out function) or a bit above it, all depending on your server of course.
Edit: aargh, this comment was supposed to be placed under enodda's comment just a bit up the page; blame it on the lack of coffee ;(
2nd Edit: you're right Bjorn, thanks.
Depending on how you look at it you could argue that this is better than your teir helm. This has more crit and more +healing at the sacrifice of raw stats.
Best head piece for Paladins in game.
How do I know? Because Athene of Emeriss(Europe) wears them, and he is the best paladin in the world.
So after patch 2.4 we can purchace the nethers for making this bad boy much earlier than intended =) im hoping to use on my 60 pally
the primal nethers aint BoP anymore ;)
Note that for a prot pally, these goggles aren't half bad for leveling (the stats on Tankatronic are nice but won't do you a lot of good solo) and/or for a high threat tanking set. The +spellcrit will be wasted but it's still +34 spelldmg and a meta+normal socket on a plate helm.
No avoidance and only a little bit of +sta though, so for tanking raid bosses & such Tankatronic goggles are still far, far better.
As a 70 healing paladin, how good are these?
Anyone know if this is recipe that can be bought or picked up from a mob?
oooh nice! glad Im an engineer!
Makes me wish I was an engineer. Oh wait, I'm thinking of ditching skinning so I can be...
Recipe can be found at at the trainer. It requires engineering skill 350
greatest gogles evar. perfect for pallys imo. maybe a bit more intelect needed.
I know alot of paly's that make engineers. It is one of the more useful proffesions for palys
Pretty pimp helm. The engineering page on thottbot shows a lvl requirement of 370. The item itself says 350. WTF? Which is right?
Whats up w/ a purple item w/ only 13 int though? It ought to be at LEAST 20+.
dont want it to strong........ these are some asskicking googles
Where do u get ur hands on that recepie - anyone ?
You can wear/make these goggles at skill level 350, which is great, because the last 15 points of engineering are insanely costly. Anyway, I just made these for my paladin and he's rocking :). They're very unique and have stats at least on par with Tier 5, beats the heck out of anything in Karazhan for sure! Most annoying part is the primal nether, but it's nothing a simple heroic Mech clear won't cure. I threw two amazing gems in, along with the 35 healing/7m5 glyph from Honor Hold, and needless to say, my paladin is up to +1600 healing and over 20% spellcrit unbuffed, he heals like a god :).
wear with gladiator's shoulders (red, yellow sockets)
Luminous Noble Topaz
Insightful Earthstorm Diamond
no other gems would be required
Yes, the engineering guy in HH sells the blueprints for these. He is just outside the main keep to the right of the entrance.
I tried getting this from Lebowski and he didn't have it. Is there another engineer guy in HH that has it?
If u are alliance and a paladin, you can learn it from the grand master engineer in Honour hold,Hellfire peninsula.
at first 13 intellect seems quite low for an epic item, but with the large healing it makes up for it.
Insightful Earthstorm Diamond (+12 int % to restore mana)
Lower City enchant(16 int 16 str)
An int gem(mine is only 6 int but meh)
you now have an item with 47 intellect, 101 healing and spell crit 39!
Well worth the nether imo ^^
Socket it with the right gems and they still have less heal (about 20 less with a 4int 9 healing and 12 int meta gem) and less int (10 less)then the new Zul'aman helm. They do add 10 crit rating(about .40% crit), but is it worth 20 healing and 10 int(10 int also adds 3.5+healing and a bit of of crit, somthing like .10% crit)?
this goggles + 26 healing -2% thread meta gem and 22 healing gem and honor hold healing enchant for head ftw
Since 2.3 they now show the location of all nearby gas clouds on the radar (rather than objects that are slightly out of phase in the netherstorm etc)....
first things first
got primal nether at lvl 65 on my paladin and got skill 365 so making this on lvl 65 pala ... can you say IMBA ?
(droped from endboss in Sethekk Halls, 3 rolled need, and I will bett almost any thing that they could not use it yet)
this is what you need in total mats:
6x heavy knothide leather
1x khorium power core
3x Khorium bars
6x khorium Ore
1x primal fire
10x mote of fire
2x hardned adamantite tube
6x hardened adamantite bars
60x adamantite bars
120 adamantite Ore
4x felsteel stabilizer
8x felsteel bar
24x fel iron bar
48 fel iron ore
16x eterium bars
32 Eterium Ore
1x primal nether
6x heavy knothide leather
32 Eterium ore
48 Fel iron Ore
120 Adamantite ore
6 Khorium ore
10 mote of fire
1 primal nether
All i need is the primal nether, but it's hard getting a grp for
any heroics on boulderfist ally,
I'd trade the random 'use' features etc for more int really,
and it needs like +120 healing at least
Where do hordies get the recipie? is it only a drop or is there a vendor or a trainer?
Horde can learn the Schematics to this item from the Master Engineering Trainer
(54,38) in Thrallmar,Hellfire Peninsula. I believe the Schematics cost 9g and 50s to learn. He will also allow you to raise your Engineering to 375.
Are these worth wearing instead of whitemend hood? Just wondering if the set bonus is better than the meta gem...
When Primal Nethers become bind on equip, does this mean a level 50 with master engineering could equip these goggles? Holy crap!
插槽加成: +4 法术爆击等级
