Tanking Goggles for the new patch. Seems there's a set for DPS Warriors and Tanking Warriors. Learned from the Grand Master Trainer. From what I saw, only if you're a Warrior can you see these on the trainer guy.
THANK YOU, BLIZZARD.
...overpowered. way, way overpowered. These are considerably better than the tier 4 helm, and somewhat better than the tier 5. I have a prot warrior engineer, so I'll be making these ASAP, but I still gotta admit, they're way too overpowered. Especially when you consider the mats aren't bad at all, and it only requires 350 skill. Also, I'd like to see a graphic that looks more, well, badass. Like something that could actually protect you in combat, not friggin sunglasses.
They might give them the nerfbat, or increase the materials cost. They could add Primal Nethers to the recipe... regardless, I'm making them before anything changes if it hits live in the current state. Goodbye Felsteel Helm!
yes, but one thing you must remember, the only thing we really had going for us engineers was the rocket launcher, everything else was to specific, the guns sucked, i mean they were ok, but you could always find better, the only thing you could sell for someone other then an engineer was scopes... we've been jipped if you ask me, now we have a comeback that we can through right into the faces of every other profession and say " HA what now, we pwn! NUBS!!"
Engineers have absolutely nothing besides the 11 new goggle patterns. The mats are perfectly reasonable for BoP, engineer only item. Tailoring has rediculous stuff that is better than t4/t5, why can't engineers have one item slot that has rediculous stats?
The goggles.... they do LOTS! I was absoloutely delighted when I found out about all the new goggle schemata.
These are on my Christmas list :D
I already have the mats for these, plus a Solid Star of Elune and a Powerful Earthstorm Diamond (giving it 30 more stam and 5% stun resist).
Throw on the KoT head enchant and this will last me until I get tier 6.
Total Mats Needed:
30 Knothide Leather
10 Mote of Fire
32 Fel Iron Ore
120 Adamantite Ore
16 Eternium Ore
6 Khorium Ore
Buffed in the latest PTR patch to
Defense rating 44
Dodge rating 26
Hit Rating 10
I have some questions:
Min level requirements? I know there are level requirements for Engineering training, but at lvl 60 My character is at 366.
I know it requires 350 to wear this, but I'm assuming it takes 375 to make. That would require me get to 375 since these are BOP.. which wouldn't make much sense having the 350 requirement at all.
are the new stats. Plus the Primal Nether. No Fel Iron Bolts, and two more Felsteel Stabilizers. =/ If these require a Primal Nether, why aren't they BoE, non-engineer?
I hope everyone who QQ'd about these diaf and chokes on their Spellstrike/Frozen Shadoweave.
What, you honestly thought that Blizzard wasn't gonna buff the mats? It was test server, they were probably just making em real cheap so people could get em. One nether's not that bad, I'm glad there's no mights!!
There must be a Gawd, cuase he made Blizz answer my prayers. As a 53 Warrior I was holding out on leveling til I got the Rocket luancher, but now I've got even more reason. The Mats aren't to insane, I think building the Transporter was a bit much though. I really thought about stocking up on Fel Iron Bars but didn't, my server was at 3gp a stack now it's 18gp+ on the average. Start buying your mats, I know I going too.
Ok, well according to the new stats, the new socket bonus is +6 stam with meta socket and yellow socket, which means that putting an Enduring Talasite or Jagged Talasite will give the same stam as putting a Solid Star of Elune and foregoing the socket bonus, now to decide if i want the +crit or extra defense for mitigation...hmmm, any thoughts?
I am currently a Blacksmith and Miner. I saw these goggles on a search for defensive plate as I am a protection warrior. After the 2.1 patch comes out, I will be switching to Blacksmith and Engineering as I have a 60+ alt that is a miner to feed me materials.
If they preserve the stats of 67 stamina, yellow socket and meta socket with the 6 stamina socket bonus, I will be quite please. I would place a Powerful Earthstorm Diamond (
) and an Enduring Talasite (
) in these goggles.
This stamina combination would be 67(goggles) + 18(meta) + 6(yellow) + 6(socket bonus) = 97.
Now, assume they keep the 38 defense and 22 dodge rating. Get Revered with Keepers of Time and apply the Glyph of the Defender(
) to the helm.
Defense bonus: 38(goggles) + 4(yellow) + 16(glyph) = 58 defense
Dodge bonus: 22(goggles) + 17(glyph) = 39 dodge
What you have here is a reason to become an engineer as a protection warrior. The only other craft plate helm that is useful is the Helm of the Stawart Defender(
Stalwart defender is harder to obtain the recipe and the bonuses are not as proportional to the mitigation of the defense and dodge bonus of these goggles.
Nobody's really addressed this part of it:
"Allows the detection of objects that are slightly out of phase, such as the arcane vortexes of Netherstorm."
What, exactly does that do? Is it something you can mine? fight? eat? What are arcane vortexes?
Edit: Nevermind, I just found
So it allows you to see them, but you still need the extractor to collect. Big whoop.
I just crafted these up last night, much to my delight. Popped in a Powerful Earthstorm Diamond (
) and an Enduring Talasite (
). Just got to haul my holy behind down to Tanaris to whip on a Glyph of the Defender (
) from the KoT quartermaster and I'll be a very happy tank! Total stats are:
Stamina: 97 (67 base + 18 meta + 6 yellow + 6 socket bonus)
Defence Rating: 58 (38 base + 4 yellow + 16 glyph)
Dodge Rating: 39 (22 base + 17 glyph)
Hit Rating: 13
Additional: 5% Stun Resistance
And in consideration, the materials are relatively cheap as well. Total materials you're going to need are:
Heavy Knothide Leather x 6
Khorium Power Core x 1
*Khorium Bar x 3 + Primal Fire x 1
Hardened Adamantite Tube x 2
*Hardened Adamantite Bar x 3 (6) = Adamantite Bar x 10 (60)
Felsteel Stabiliser x 4
*Felsteel Bar x 2 (8) = Fel Iron Bar x 3 (24) and Eternium Bar x 2 (16)
Primal Nether x 1
Talasite x 2
As an added bonus, in crafting this at engineering level 350, you're going to get skill ups not only for the helm, but the power core, stabilisers and tubes too!
Edit: Formatting went to hell, sorry!
perfect tanking goggles
Great tanking goggles, cheap mats. Better than the Eternium Greathelm (
), and comparable with The Warbringer's Greathelm (
Good balance of stats. Slot as the poster above me suggested and you'll be in great shape.
After bankrupting myself making these goggles and fully decking them out with a Powerful Earthstorm Diamond, Enduring Talasite and Glyph of the Defender on my warrior, I've noticed my avoidance has gone from decent to almost a liability with respect to rage generation in normal 5-mans.
With those gems and the CoT enchant, Tankatronic goggles alone give 25 defense skill, 970 hp and just over 3% dodge (taking into account the bonuses of both defense and dodge rating). These goggles are, quite simply, amazing.
It's a bit TOO obvious that it's a great tank item. Setting stats aside, it actually SAYS it's a tank item. :D
The damage mitigation from these goggles is extremely high.
Binds when picked up
Equip: Increases defense rating by 58. (24.17)
Equip: Increases your dodge rating by 39. (2.06%)
Equip: Improved hit rating by 13. (0.82%)
This would be if socketed with a +18stamina meta and a +4def/6sta green gems.
+97 stamina is selfexplainary (970HP, 1028hp for prot palas with 6% stamina increase and 1018hp for prot warriors with 5% stamina increase)
The defense on the goggles equal 24.17 defense, which multiplied with 4 gives the actual block/parry/dodge value, which is 0.9668 for all three.
0.9668 *3 = 2.9004. That's 2.9% chance to prevent crushing blows right there.
And in addition we have the lovely dodge (39) which divided with 18.92 gives us 2.0613% dodge chance.
2.9004 + 2.0613 = 4.9617% chance to prevent crushing blows on the goggles alone, not many headpieces can counter that.
And in addition there is 13 hit rating, equalling 0.82% chance to hit when divided with 15.8, ace!
Reason alone to go Engineering, possibly best tanking headpiece until perhaps Black Temple (I am not sure how the tier5 head looks like, just know there is nowhere the same stamina on it.)
You all SUCK!! I saw these goggles and had to have them, every one fails to mention the PRIMAL NEITHER IS BoP. So much to my displeasure I was unable to make them at 53, even though I have 355 Engineering and 99% of the Mats.
If you are unable to go to Outlands and farm the Neither check out the Cogspinner Goggles, "of the Bear" is a decent holdout helm, leather but the +59/+31 (sta/str).
Also if you don't get the one you want have them DE'd for a Large Prismatic Shard, 15gp easy.
is it just me or does this NOT have a level req?
if so, i can see some people (like me:)) getting a portal to shattrath, taking a naked horse ride (and a tour of outland graveyards) to area 52 to talk to the GM engineer who sells the plans, then making these before hitting 60
I actually got those on my 65 tankadin, excellent goggles, they'll last me all the way till next expansion since my little tankadin is an alt and probably won't see Illidan ever.to replace it.
It's possible to get these at level 60, granted you need to find a few friendly people that are willing to kill last boss basically with just 4 of them (use your main to help clean out the instance). Getting to honored with CE is easy - the moment you ding 60, turn in Unidentified Plant Parts, they'll get you honored and you can access heroic Slave Pens or Underbog. Heck, I even think it's possible to get honored with Thrallmar/Honor Hold before 60 so who knows about the 59 twinks :). I only think that you have to be 60 to enter heroics though.
these goggles are deffinetly kick ass but could someone tell me what it means by "shows the location of all nearby gas clouds on the mini map"
on an off note these remind me of something
"vegeta whats the scouter say about his power lvl?"
"it's over 9000!!!"
Right now my warrior is at 375 mining/blacksmithing, but I'm training up mining on an alt so that I can drop it and pick up engineering - just for this helm. Right now I'm wearing Helm of the Stalwart Defender, and this just blows that helm away.
great goggles and a joke to get really as while ur lvling up ur Engi u'll make most of the matts and then the gems are cheap, dont know bout the leather cos my guild jus gave me it.
Definatly a must have and dont know bout there comparison to tier sets, but better then T4 id say untill u get the set bonus's.
These are upgraded in patch 2.4:
Hard Khorium Goggles
Binds when picked up
Socket Bonus: +6 Stam
Requires Level 70
Requires Engineering (350)
Equip: Increases defense rating by 51.
Equip: Improves hit rating by 27.
Equip: Increases your dodge rating by 35.
Equip: Shows the location of gas clouds
Equip: Increases stealth detection
Use: Look far into the distance
Hard Khorium Goggles
Upgraded Stats from Tankatronic Goggles:
Mats required to upgrade:
Schematic: Hard Khorium Goggles
(drops in SW25)
(3x Khorium Bars + 1x Hardended Adamantite Bar)
The new googles only require 350 eng to use, but the pattern requires 375 eng to learn.
I don't see level requirement. Can this be equipped before 70?
With next path nether being boe this can be quite powerful...
They will put it only for lvl 70 in the next patch
Very awsome goggle's! I just made those for my lvl 61 warr and
put in a tenaqious earthstorm diamond and miss the yellow gem
atm tho, think its gonna b a 6 def and ?stam gem, but not sure yet
nazran in ramp's can b done with 4 man, if U bring gd dps ofc :P
These goggles, along with the Dimensional Rippers and +45 Stam Trinkets, are the 3 main reasons I became an engineerer. Of course, it's expensive as hell, but in the long run, we tanks make out in the end. :) Kick...ASS.
Cannot wait to grab those Hard Khorium Goggles as an upgrade. Even more expensive, but should match t6 in stam. Nearly, however. Not entirely..close enough.
With 6 epics (including this one), My health is 13224 unbuffed, with 14,667 Armor and 501 Defense. Look me up in the armory; Same name as this posting name. Note how I'm in KARAZHAN or LOWER gear? :) Engineering changed my tank-life for the better.
Actually I'm pretty sure the pattern is not BoP, it will just cost a pretty penny (and likely take a while for a guild to consider selling them) to obtain.
As far as hardened khorium, same deal, pay a high end guild on your server to smelt it for you, shouldn't be expensive if you have connections.
i've get these gogles for my 62 dwarf warrior and i'm still using them when im 70lvl :) these are one of the best things from engineering i think :)
As of 2.4 It is possible to have them from 50 and above. Screenshots of a 54 Tankadin having than can come soon if you really want it. Primal neathers are no longer Soul bound / BoP. all you need is a main with some finances sorted, and with the new SSO dalies (when all unlocked) will mean about 100g+ per character per day (and this is being on the pessimistic side of removeing the side quest and Shattrath City Dailies from the SSO)
I crafted these right when they were orginally released and have since raiding up to MH/BT and have yet to get a better tanking helm. Had Powerful Earthstorm Diamond, but changed it to the new SBV one, put in an Enduring Talasite and then went to ZG to get my favorite helm enchant ever. Thing works like a charm after months. Can't wait until I can get the schematics for the upgraded goggles.
This item is the perfect helmet for a casual player who wants to apply to an end game guild.
Protection Paladin Pre-BT/SW Gear Guide
This list is easily obtainable, and contains the optimal substitutes for the Tier Items that some feel they need to grind out. I have tanked Hyjal, BlackTemple, and Sunwell Trash/Felmyst Adds in the following gear without ever having to join a guild and wait to gear up.
. Engineering (BoP)
Shattered Sun Pendant of Resolve
Pauldrons of Stone Resolve
Silkk's Cloak of Placation
Shattrath Protectorate's Breastplate
Bracers of the Ancient Phalanx
Belt of the Gaurdian
Inscribed Legplates of the Aldor
Ring of the Stalwart Protector
Ring of Unyielding Force
Jewel Crafting (BoP)
Commendation of Kael'Thas
Heroic Magister's Terrace
Bulwark of the Amani Empire
Libram of Repentence
Keep in mind this list is composed of basically casually playing a few nights a week, and I obtained all of the items in under 2 months. (Also keep in mind that I'm not the guild MainTank, this list is just for "Pre-BT/SW" Paladins who want to apply to end game guilds to get T6 and beyond.) I believe Blizzard implemented these items for tanks/alts who are tired of grinding Kara, then SSC, then TK, then Hyjal etc. This is a very simple gearlist that will get you MORE than enough stamina/avoidance/threat to tank in very large realms as guilds progress into Sunwell. Fully Raid buffed I'm at 20k HP, 111% avoidance with Holy Shield, and roughly 1.3k Threat per second.
You may be thinking "How do I get into Zul'Aman, if I dont have the equipment to?", or even "What heroics do I do to get the badges?" Well it's quite simple. Below is a list of "To Do's" in order so you can get to this gear level as quickly as possible.
As you hit level 70, you should immediately start doing Daily quests. I played casually, and could do about 10 a day before I was bored or simply had real life to catch up with. 9 quests with the Shattered Sun Offensive, and the daily PvP battleground quest. This will give you an average of 200-300 gold per day, and roughly 5k Honor and 6 Marks per day. (PvP can be 1 shot and bam we're done, or take 6 matches to win you never know).
Week 1 Total = 1750g , 35k Honor w/10-15 of each bg Mark, and Very Close to exalted with SSO.
Do SSO/PvP Dailies and build up Jewelcrafting (1000g) and Engineering (1000g).
Week 2 Total = 1500g (1750g per week, minus 2k gold in crafting materials), 70k Honor w/ 20-30 of each bg Mark, Exalted SSO.
With your current gold and reputation you can buy Aldor Exalted so your necklace procs and to get the
. With the SSO reputation you can get the
patterns. Furthermore, you can purchase your
. With the remaining gold you should purchase the
, any "Champion," and "Sorcerer" lvl 68+ green plate items.
With 6 Epics 2 Rares, and the rest greens you're ready for Heroics. (You won't be uncrushable, meaning you can't easily tank Raid Bosses, but Offtanking in Kara pugs is a nice way to get easy badges and some rep/items if need be)
Now you should start doing Heroics daily. The only places a protection paladin should go are
because the drops will make life easier. I did the daily heroic quest, and If I was in a good group, Id do 1 or 2 more. You can make about 50g per dungeon with the quest, and shards and drops. Never take more than 3 to 4 hours a day doing heroics...it becomes a gear grind at that point, and what fun is that? I would also grab a Karahzan pick up group once a week, and even if they cant get past Curator you still pull badges and a good chance to get
Week 3 Totals- 2550g, 115 Badges
Buy your Libram, Bracers, and Cloak. (85 Badges)
Heroics and Kara should be easier this week with at least 3 NEW tanking items. The pace at which you can do simple heroics should drastically pick up, and the NEED for CC in heroic magisters is low now.
Week 4 Totals - 3300g, 145 Badges
Buy your Hands and Rings. (If you've gotten the Maiden's Gloves, skip the Bonefist and go right to the Legs.) You can now easily afford the Belt of the Guardian, and if you haven't finished crafting your helmet/trinket do so.
Now your gear is at the level at which you can be a little more picky with your heroics. You are going to NEED your Commendation and Weapon, so do Heroic Magister's every day until you have them. You can now spend some time in ZA. With Helm, Neck, Shoulder, Bracer, Hands, Belt, Legs, Rings, Trinkets, Weapon and Shield all being Epic you can Easily get 1 Chest in a PuG and get your shoulders.
I did the daily Heroic, Magister's, and ZA/Kara every cooldown for the 2nd Month and was ready for Black Temple.
I wouldn't even say the gearing up was luck, because most of the items are from crafting, Rep., or badges, and with only 2 tanks per ZA and 1 per heroic, you are much more likely to get what you need rather than competing with up to 6 or 7 rogues/shaman/pallies in every 25 man.
When I obtained this gear, I had enough badges to buy a Full Fire Resistance set as well as enough gold to buy my epic flying mount. Extra badges went towards epic gems, and since we're Jewelcrafters, all badges from here on out are money in the bank =D
Just a note:
---11 BoP patterns that craft T5 equivalent gear for every class, spec and whim.
---Flying mounts: more a novelty due to amts cost and still requiring flying skill but still a nice bonus.
---\not much of a Eng. bonus due to cost and rareity but another point to make nevertheless - Sunwell BoE drop pattern for 'best tanking helm in game'. This will almost never reach the AH and requires mats only attainable to miners who have gotten sunwell drop recipes. However as time passes this will make it's way to AH's (for around 10 to 20k gold) and the mats will be available for purchase. Allowing (the extremely rich) Engineers access to the best helm in game for no SWP raiding experience.
---Many BoP patterns that craft similar gear for every class, spec and whim.
---Leg Armor Kits for all caster classes.
---Access to BoP epic gems.
---Many BoP trinkets and pieces of gear counted amoung 'best in game' or 'best for a long long time'.
---A whole faction concentrated almost entirely on Jewelcrafting rewards for reputation: The Shattered Sun Offensive.
---Ability to take the expensive ores and get good profit by prospecting. This has been nerfed but (from experience and from in game talk this is still a _major_ bonus.
Enchanters: (expensive and not as good but again decent for the player)
---Ability to disenchant useless items of all qualities.
---Ability to enchant rings.
Alchemy: (decent overall profession)
---A few goodies and some epic trinkets
---4 leg patterns for melee classes and hunters.
---Comparatively low-grade patterns to those listed above, harder to attain, similar materials and generally llower grade items.
Blacksmithing (extremely expensive, mats intensive and low reward profession)
---No tanking, DPS or healing pattern comparable to Engineers helms.
---Similar quality patterns to leatherworking.
---Crafts epic resistance gear that requires thousands of gold per set for minimal upgrades over 69-70 greens
. Most of these require reputation of Honoured or greater reputation (ususally not a problem but yet another barrier to access).
I am not saying nerf the above professions, I would hate to have my nice T% equal helm taken away by Blizzard or my nice purple robes nerfed: I am saying give extras to the two listed at the bottom and bring them all more in line with each other in terms of ease of access to patterns and rewards from said professions.
Blacksmithing and leatherworking do give a few good items and blacksmithing does give the best resistance gear available but the cost and reward of these two professions is seriously out of line with the others and this needs resolving.
Feel free to add to this or to disagree: I am after all only human and can get things wrong or miss things out I just feel that there is a lack of thought surrounding the balance of this aspect of the game.
i just dropped herbing for engineering on my paladin to make these ^^
Too bad that there is this stupid Primal Nether in the components list! (I'm lvl 52 pally)
I suspect I will be level 65 when i get this %^&*!, Ill be so imba ^^
I may drop Blacksmithing just for these bad boys.
FINALY ENGINEERS FTW! These own almost all other epic helms ive seen so GO ENGINEERS! w00t!
If you compare it with T5 helmet its nearly equal to it. It's so bad-ass, crafted it 2 weeks ago.
1 Powerful Earthstorm Diamond (18 Sta & 5% stun resist)
1 Enduring Talasite (4 def rate & 6 sta)
Glyph of the Defender (16 def rate & 17 dodge rate)
Makes it such a powerful item
These are very cool. Where can i learn them?
"I'll put on my shades, that way I will take less damage from this gigantic boss"
I hope these have placeholder graphics, because they don't look very sturdy (I was hoping for something looking like a bucket with goggles on). But then again, WoW isn't supposed be realistic.
i just wish they would have thought of the persons spec when it comes to this... there are no plate dps goggles for arms/fury wars
NVM im retared
I am a holy pally>>>>>
I learned the tank/heal/DPS schematics from the trainer in HH. I am wearing the healing goggles. I see no reason why I couldn't equip the two others. They fit the protections and retribution specs very well.
Yea good luck getting a primal nether at anything lower than 65.
These goggles are teh pwn for tanking stats. I dropped 375 mining to skill engineering to make them. It was a long and trying task but well worth it. If your not already a miner I would highly recommend either using an alt or your friends character to mine cause the mats get pricey as you get higher in skill.
Very achievable if you have the patience. I would recommend getting the head "Glyph Of The Defender" from the keepers of time (revered) that gives 16 defense and 17 dodge.
30x Knothide Leather
6x Khorium Ore
1x Primal Fire
120x Adamantite Ore
48x Fel Iron Ore
32x Eternium Ore
1x Primal Nether
How are these compared to Faceguard of Determination?
I cant realy figure out if the 167 armour and 31 sta, is better then 3% block.
I grinded from 0-360 this weekend. I spent a couple weeks getting the mats and finally took the plunge. Even with the collection, I still spent about 700 gold that last couple of days to grind it (including gemming and the CoT glyph enchant). Very expensive profession to get through, but well worth it in my opinion.
This helm better than the T4 helm
? Here's the break down:
+19 Block value
+23 Block rate
Seems like the T4 is not as good, even in the 25 main raids ...
Does the cloud tracking on the mini map also stack with other tracking ie. mining?
Well, T4 may be better, but it's hard to come by at my level.
Gratz Sparticus you lucky bastard. primal at level 63. damn. ;)
ok heres a total component breakdown.
1x Khorium Power Core
1x Primal Nether
1x Primal Fire
3x Khorium Bar
3x Hardened Adamantite Tube
4x Felsteel Stabilizer
6x Hardened Adamantite Bar
6x Heavy Knothide Leather
8x Felsteel Bar
10x Mote of Fire
16x Eternium Bar
24x Fell Iron Bar
30x Knothide Leather
32x Eternium Ore
48x Fel iron ore
60x Adamantite Bar
120x Adamanite ore
these things TOTALLY own...
oh my gosh, with a meta gem with 18 stamina and a yellow defense/stamina gem with 6 stamina and like 4 or so defense (a defense stamina gem will cause the 6 stam socket bonus and will add the full 12 stamina :D) you will get 97 stamina from this, and if your a paladin 112.52 stamina, and if your warrior close to 105.
Needless to say, this thing will provide 1K of health... and it's not that hard to get! :D
The fact it's got defense is just a MAJOR bonus, and 1296 armor makes it comparable to the armor of some epic chest pieces O.o
It's also get hit rating, and looking into the distance and seeing dust clouds just makes this thing pwn XD
Anyways, it it awesome, it's got bundles on it, one of the best tanking helms IMO, and only something say, oh, from BT or Zul'amman can really compare to this, it is totally awesome! :D
Nether is harder to get than you think, but if you work at it long enough, you'll get it :D
apparently an upgraded version of these is the hardened khorium goggles although nothing on the loot tables all that is needed is these 4 primal nethers 1 primal might and 2 hardened khorium bars im hoping to see the schematic soon i have mats rdy and been saving in case this pops up on the AH
I'd say the t4 helm is equal to the tankatronic goggles...
you don't get the t4 helm to master the instance level its from, but the more difficult ( t5 ..) parts.
and survivability is something you can have enough of, but threat , which is definitely more supported by t4, is the thing you should try to maximize...
still a great helm to start off with, but not worth it if you already have t4...
took up engineering at 70 to get these bad boys. cost me a bagload of gold to level it up but well worth it in my opinion. any tank get these now :)
This can now be trained in TBC Classic by the engineering trainer in Honor Hold and presumably the equivalent in Thrallmar. Contrary to what I thought after trying to figure it out beforehand, it only requires 250 engineering to train.
