The price shown is actually wrong. It is 15300 honor and 10 AV tokens, not 11934 honor and 10 AV tokens. The price shown is for the old ring, not the veteran's ring.

The Alliance equivilent is available from Lieutenant Tristia in Champions Hall. Not sure why it's only listed as being sold by Horde Quartermaster.

Something cool you can do is get the Band of Dominance and the Veteran's Band of Dominance. A quick way to get rid of those blue or possibly greens since good rings can be hard to come by.

I'm wondering, is it possible to equip this with the Veteran's Band of Salvation?

If you are a new level 70 PvP healer this could be a good (and perhaps also fast) way to get some decent arena gear, where (for a healer) int, stam, res and + healing (and in some cases also + spell dmg) is a must. Equipping both rings would therefore be a really good way to get rid of that bad green.

This ring is great because it is one of the few items that has spell penetration on it, which is needed to buff through your target's magic resist. You don't need much (40-60), but when you're facing off against an SL/SL warlock or a target with the druid's buff, you'll be thankful.

I want to know why they did not drop the cost of the Veteran's rings and why they are still fifteen thousand honor. I've got the Vindicator's ring and am going for this one for my second, and I would have appreciated it if they had lowered the cost of the rings along with every other non-set epic (except the cloak, but that's only 7.5k...).
