New in patch 2.3, purchasable for 20
Badge of Justice
Good libram, just bought mine. (Woot for kara dropping tons of badges)
Either go for this (If alliance) or the Libram of Avengement if you're horde. (Or want to pvp and prefer lots of crit)
Currently this libram is "bugged". It's buff is considered a 128 level buff. This means with Sanctified Seals talent and Stoicism it becomes very annoying to dispel a Ret Paladin.
Create the Macros:
/cast Seal of Blood
/equip Libram of Divine Judgement
/cast Seal of Blood
/equip Libram of Avengement
Now, when you judge Command, you instantly switch to SoB and gain the +200 AP for roughly 2 weapon swings and a Crusader strike.
When you judge SoB, you gain the crit proc and are ready to Judge Command again for the +200 AP.
Have anyone done any deep theory crafting regarding this libram and
Libram of Righteous Power
Since you will do 2 x Crusader Strikes more than Judgements during 60 seconds.
And the bonus from Libram of Rigtheous Power is static compared to this one.
I know the Attack Power will also add up to white hits/crits, but still?
One thing to note, since this entire board seems to favor this libram over the 54 crit Avenegement libram....
Avenegement not only procs off judging the seal like this one does, it also procs simply from resfrshing any seal that sticks to the enemy. Whenever I judge crusader or light or wisdom or justice onto the enemy, from then on whenever i refresh the jugement by hitting the enemy, I get 54 crit for 5 seconds. This makes the 54 crit almost constant, whereas im guessing there are bigger gaps with the 200ap buff, even though it does last twice as long.
Has anyone done any damage calculator testing? Has anyone used both and can confirm im not crazy, that avengement is going off like... All The Time!
Not really heavy into theroycraft here, so please bare with me. Most of the info here on Libram of Divine Judgment vs Libram of Avengement are Pre patch 2.4, so I wish to throw some other angles into the mix so to speak. From what I have gather the best combination for these Librams are as follow:
Armor Piercing + Libram of Avengement (PvP)
Obviously the goal here is to do Quick Burst damage to your enemy, the higher Critical chance the higher the burst damage, along with armor piercing to ignore a certain percent of armor of your opponent you can quickly dispose of your enemies.
Haste + Libram of Divine Judgment (PvE)
As it stands the average epic weapon I seen weapon speed stands at 3.5, which means while LoDJ is active within the 10s buff duration you will only be able gain the bonus for 2 auto attacks. Now if you add a certain percent of haste into the mix, and for argument sake lets say you get get your weapon speed down to 3.33, now you will gain one extra swing within the buff duration, which with in long boss fights, you wish to hit as much as possible.
I don't wish to get all into number formulas, and scenarios, I just wish to point out that there are new features to take into account now that theres more gear leaning to either or for armor piercing and haste, which would have a big effect on our librams.
Does it actually use a global cooldown when it procs?
Yes, it's better than the Zeal libram.
It's a 40% proc rate.
That thing is amazing for PVP ret pally. Definitely worth working for.
what's the proc rate on this? can anyone provide a link?
It looks like your casting Blessing of Might on yourself when it procs btw, only without the casting animation, it uses the judgement animation instead.
Is this libram better then avengement?
is it better when
This is what the discription says, I sure hope you dont need to use rank 5 and higher to proc it, but I guess it works with rank 1 aswell, can anybody confirm?
I don't think it can proc in arena, i did 20+ arena and no proc
It does proc in the Arena. You have to judge seal of command for it to work though.
I wanted to get this one, but then I saw it's for Judgement of Command only... And I only use Seal of Blood.
So I guess I'll wait a bit longer for Dory's Embrace or something like that :)
I just purchased this at the recomendation of others who have commented here. I am not impressed.
If you pull up your character screen when it procs, you can see the additional attack power equals +15 DPS. Since the spell lasts 10 seconds, that means +150 damage.
You be the judge, but is a 40% chance of getting 150 additional damage worth 20 badges.
