A real space saver for hunters. They can now bring 1 Adamantite Shell Machine instead of 5 stacks of Adamantite Shells. Craftable by engineers.
The arrow version:
For those trying to estimate cost-per-stack:
Wood and primal earth may be ignored by anyone who mines.
4 Adamantite Ore and
1 Mote of Fire will make
2 Shell Machines
Ore averages 1g per
Motes of fire average 2g per
6g per 10 stacks is 60 silver per stack.
Comparable Ammo requires either Violet Eye or Hellfire revered rep, and costs (w/ rep discount)
43s per stack for 34 dps ammo (Halaani)
43s per stack for 37 dps ammo (Hellfire)
85s per stack for 46.5 dps ammo (Violet Eye)
Given that this ammo is 43 dps and costs significantly less per stack then VE, while being significantly better then Hellfire ammo at a small price hike, it is probably the best ammo to use assuming you avoid handling costs by making it yourself.
Try to avoid buying the bullets themselves, if the Shell Machine is on the AH. On my server, it is cheaper to pay 10g for the machine, then to buy 5 stacks of bullets off the AH.
You can receive 5 stacks of
from using this.
Thought I would link it, as no one else had yet...
I hate doing calculations so i assume lots of other people do too...these are the raw materials for 20x
20 Mote of Earth
10 Mote of Fire
40 Adamantite Ore
80 Simple Wood
It should state it has 5 uses.
using my current server prices that amounts up to about 50s per stack of bullets.
The ones from revered Violet Eye do 3.5 dps more (roughly 8%) but cost 1g per stack, and they dont come in a handy box which saves u 4 slots.
Vending machine.... reminds me of mages.
Learn this from a engineer vendor down in Lower Shatt, along with the white smoke flare.
As a Prot Warrior, I LOVE this item. Last thing on my mind is Ammo and it sucks to be halfway through a dungeon/raid and be out of it and have the pulls be messed up.
Since I found out about these, I have never run out. It is also nice to have 5 stacks of bullets kept in one item slot.As a further bonus, the mat cost is relatively low.
