Odd boots for a warrior. Only good use to this is sell to vendor for 1 gold and 18 silver (they cost more than others mail boots).
I'd have to disagree. The +16 on the stamina is pretty good, at least for the level that I got them at, which was around 49 or so. The lesser agility wasn't much of an issue for me because I already had +43 total agility, and I had talents to offset the decrease in crit hits. I used it until I hit 58, when I could use the Felstone Greaves of the Soldier I had bought for 10g. I know that they are mail, but they provided a boost in everything over these boots: Armor, Stamina, and no agility decrease, plus a bonus to strength and crit chance.
Just note that these have MINUS five agility!
can one walk on he bottom of seas with this?
This doesnt remind you of Zelda? Ocarina of time? Iron Boots?
Not even a little?

-5 agility... retarded! Boots from Tanaris 00X are WAY better
I've never seen a negative enchant before.
The guy in Auberdine-Whiteclaw- on the docks, his reward "The Tear of Grief" for his quest "For Love Eternal" has a negative enchantment too. -3 to Spirit.
I am sure there are more examples out there too.
Because it's a sinking device. If they are real heavy to make you sink, don't you think you would be less agile? :)
I came looking for some commentary about how the -5 agility might be offset by the +16 stamina, but found none, so I searched wowhead for plate boots with at least +16 stam:
They give a massive chunk of effective health for a quest item obtainable at level 43. Just about anything having comparable stam is obtained from level 60 activities.
can't hurt if you already have zero agility, amirite
