This guide provides tips and strategies for defeating the Felhounds of Sargeras encounter on
Mythic Difficulty
in Antorus, the Burning Throne. The other difficulties of the fight can be found in the
Normal and Heroic Strategy Guide
.
Felhounds of Sargeras is a single phase encounter in which the raid fights two bosses simultaneously. The raid needs good awareness and preparation to deal with the ever changing overlaps of the fight's simple, yet impactful abilities.
Felhounds of Sargeras is the second boss in Antorus, the Burning Throne; available December 5th on Mythic. Felhounds of Sargeras is available after defeating
Garothi Worldbreaker
.

Overview
– The Felhounds of Sargeras combat players while performing attacks at specific power thresholds, but each has their own power generation rate.
temporarily suspends this power generation.
While within 40 yards of each other,

Watch for the

auras, as they indicate that the targeted boss can cast the aforementioned ability.
Mythic Difficulty
Alongside numerical changes, in which the damage from the abilities has been increased, there are a few mechanical changes that have been made to the Felhounds of Sargeras encounter on Mythic difficulty.

Dark Reconstitution
The bosses no longer share a health pool and in addition, they need to be killed within 15 seconds of one another due to
黑暗重构
.
The dog will channel this spell when it hits 1 health. If the cast is successful, the current dog will heal for 15% of its max health.
This is interrupted, if the other dog is also brought to 1 health during this cast, resulting in the death of both bosses.
Shadowtouched and Flametouched
From the beginning of the encounter, the entire raid will be evenly coated with one of two debuffs, either
暗影触痕
or
烈焰触痕
. The boss will attempt to distribute the debuffs evenly amongst roles, with each tank getting a different debuff and one half of the healers receiving a different debuff from the other half.
暗影触痕
reduces all shadow damage taken by 25%.
It also causes the player to trigger a
暗影伤痕
when they take any fire damage, which will deal a burst of damage and grip in the closest player.
The shadow damage dealt by
暗影伤痕
does not trigger
烈焰触痕
.
烈焰触痕
reduces all fire damage taken by 25%.
It also causes the player to trigger a
炽燃闪光
and
炽燃残骸
when they take any shadow damage.
炽燃闪光
deals a burst of fire damage to all players within 5 yards after a brief delay. This location will then have a patch of
炽燃残骸
placed on it which lasts for 2 minutes and deals ticking damage to anyone who stands within it.
The raid will want to split evenly into two teams of 10. The
暗影触痕
players will want to engage Shatug whilst the
烈焰触痕
players will want to engage F'harg. This not only keeps players with different debuff types separate, it will also help the raid split their damage onto the bosses more evenly.
Although all players in the raid are considered valid targets by each of the bosses abilities, players will need to pay extra attention to abilities that trigger their
暗影触痕
or
烈焰触痕
debuffs.
Shadowtouched Responsibilities
暗影触痕
players need to be cautious of their positioning during Desolate Gaze.
As you will always grip the closest player when you take fire damage, you can select what player you'll grip by making sure they are closest.
Gripping any player is fine aside from the tank. This is because you may cause the boss to suddenly face the raid which could lead to a cleave landing on a large amount of players.
You must ensure that the tank is never gripped by any
暗影伤痕
triggers throughout the fight.
This is most important during Enflamed Corruption channels. The
暗影触痕
players will be gripping each other frequently during the channel as they become afflicted with the Enflamed debuffs.
You must remain spread as much as possible to reduce the chance of cleaving extra Enflamed damage onto one another.
Do note that the ticking damage from the Enflamed Corruption channel will not trigger a
暗影伤痕
, only the damage from the Enflamed debuffs will trigger
暗影伤痕
.
Flametouched Responsibilities
If you are Flametouched,stack up and move togetherduring Siphon Corruption!
烈焰触痕
players will need to choreograph their movement far more heavily than the
暗影触痕
players.
To minimize the amount of space taken up by the
炽燃残骸
, the
烈焰触痕
players will want to stack up during points of shadow damage.
During Siphon Corruption, the
烈焰触痕
players will want to stack up and as a single unit each time a patch of
炽燃残骸
spawns.
The tank should also move F'harg with the group to ensure that melee DPS can continue to damage the boss.
The
烈焰触痕
group should attempt to stick along the walls of the encounter area whilst placing the
炽燃残骸
patches to attempt to keep the rest of the area clean.
The only ability that has been modified on Mythic is the
吞噬之球
.
This now has a giant circle indicating the final destination of the orb.
Once the sphere reaches this destination, a
吞噬湮灭
occurs on the location, which deals lethal damage to anyone who is stood there.
Simultaneously, a
吞噬引爆
will trigger, which deals a burst of shadow damage to the entire group.
Move away from the
吞噬之球
final destination.
Players want to move away from the final destination of the orb.
烈焰触痕
players need to be ready to deal with the
炽燃闪光
and
炽燃残骸
that will spawn underneath themselves when this damage comes in, preferably by standing at the edges of the encounter area.
The
烈焰触痕
players will want to move around in a preset path to ensure they do not coat the room with
炽燃残骸
patches.
We recommend moving in a elongated oval shape along the wall of the area. As you reach one end of the room, you simply start moving back on yourselves, placing the fire next to the fire patches you placed on your way along the wall.
By the time the raid reaches their original position again, the
炽燃残骸
patches should have despawned, allowing the kiting cycle to continue.
During this time, the Shatug tank will want to mirror the movements of F'harg on the opposite side of the room.
This will allow ranged DPS to damage both dogs, whilst also allowing healers to remain close to each group.
After fighting the boss for two minutes, the raid will have their
暗影触痕
or
烈焰触痕
debuffs removed and replaced with the opposite debuff.
At this point the raid needs to switch roles, either by having the entire raid switch positions or by having the tanks switch the positions of the dogs by taunting off one another.

I'd like to point out that the Consuming Spheres will target people with the shadow debuff if people with fire debuff are too far away, essentially instagibbing the shadow group. Make sure the dogs are not tanked too far apart from each other, the times when it happened to us last night where when they were tanked by the ramp, and the cliff side respectively.
