10 Hot Items in Black Temple and Mount Hyjal Burning Crusade Classic Phase 3
In Burning Crusade Classic Phase 3, both Black Temple and Mount Hyjal are now available. With so many new items coming out, many classes will see complete overhauls to their Best in Slot lists,
which Wowhead has updated
. Today, we're discussing ten of the hottest items in the upcoming phase (in no particular order) and what classes want them the most.
Memento of Tyrande is one of the best healing trinkets in the game for all healing classes, but the mana regeneration proc effect is more valuable for some classes over others. For healing classes that have very few mana issues, it can become a situational trinket. In regards to healing trinkets that are effective in both PvE And PvP, this is definitely the best trinket in the game, as many arena matches can come down to healer mana.
Zhar'doom, Greatstaff of the Devourer
Zhar'doom, Greatstaff of the Devourer is a weapon that drops from
and is highly sought after amongst spellcasters. It is an extremely powerful staff for Balance Druids, Elemental Shamans, Shadow Priests, Warlocks, and Mages. The staff also has a very unique graphic, which is a Zergling or Felhound (depends on who you ask) stretched out over a staff, with an idle animation that twitches and moves.
Dropping off of
, Crystal Spire of Karabor is without a doubt the strongest healing weapon in the game during Phase 3. The last equip bonus on the item is also very unique, offering bonus healing to a target with less than 50% total health - making it extremely powerful for main tank healing. For this reason, this item is typically given to Priests and Shamans before Druids, as the proc effect does not trigger from healing over time effects.
Tempest of Chaos drops from
and is a powerful spellcaster sword for Protection Paladins, Warlocks, and Mages. There isn't much for the Protection Paladin to really get super excited over other than
, both from Illidan. Most Warlocks and Mages should be very grateful for their Protection Paladin tanks and benefit when the Paladin gets this sword, as they will be able to generate even more AOE threat.
The Skull of Gul'dan drops from
and is the best in slot trinket for nearly every spellcaster. A unique trinket, offering a haste bonus on use effect, this item is often compared to
from Classic. While Blizzard was close to nerfing Mind Quickening Gem
in the latest update
, they did revert the change and left it at 330 Haste.
Cursed Vision of Sargeras
Cursed Vision of Sargeras is an extremely powerful Leather helmet and quite an iconic transmog. This item is worn by Illidan Stormrage himself and is sought after by nearly all physical damage dealers. Hunters, Rogues, Enhancement Shamans, Retribution Paladins, and Warriors can benefit from this helmet.
Scepter of Purification drops from
and is the best in slot off hand for Druid and Priest healers. For Holy Paladins, it isn't necessarily best in slot but it can be a decent choice (
has some crit on it and is slightly better for Paladins).
Nadina's Pendant of Purity drops from
and is the best in slot neck for all healing classes. Because this item has spell crit on it, the Paladin class can take advantage slightly more than other healers. Paladins benefit from heal crits because of
, which gives mana back after a critical heal lands.
Madness of the Betrayer is best in slot trinket for all physical damage dealers, minus Rogues. While still a fantastic trinket for Rogues, it does fall short in comparison to Warp-Spring Coil and Dragonspine Trophy. For everyone else, this is one of the best trinkets in the game for physical damage dealers, as Armor Penetration is an extremely valuable attribute.
Warglaive of Azzinoth
Warglaives of Azzinoth are obviously one of the most exciting items in Phase 3, being best in slot for both Fury Warriors and Rogues. Because both of these classes want these items, what the loot priority should or shouldn't be is one of the most highly debated topics, and
