Patch 8.3 N'zoth Assaults Preview - Vale of Eternal Blossoms' The Warring Clans

Continuing our preview of the new Assaults added in Patch 8.3, today we are covering the restored
锦绣谷
and the Warring Clans Mogu assault. We'll be going over some of this assault's objectives, dailies, and more!
There are multiple types of assaults that can occur in the
锦绣谷
. This is a preview of the assault, The Warring Clans, a Mogu themed assault.
Vale of Eternal Blossoms Restored
Patch 8.3 will finally restore the
锦绣谷
to its former days before its desecration in Patch 5.3 Escalation and its destruction in
Patch 5.4 Siege of Orgrimmar
.
The Vale's restoration heals most of the damage done by these events, but some of it is still a work in progress.
A few new areas can be accessed in the new version of the Vale.
The Warring Clans - Mogu Assault
As with
奥丹姆
, all enemies in the Vale are scaled up to level 120. The Mogu assault on the Vale of Eternal Blossom is focused on the western half of the zone. When active, many new rares, creatures, objectives and treasures will be available in the marked area.
Completing this assault gives 1500 reputation with
莱加尼
, a new faction in 8.3. Their faction quartermaster currently has nothing to sell, but potentially this faction will reward several desirable items, including the
皎白云端翔龙
mount, a very unique color of Cloud Serpent that closely resembles the
恶毒角斗士云端翔龙
.
Stage 1: Push Back the Mogu Forces
The objective of this assault is to push back the Mogu forces. This is done by completing various objectives within the marked area until the progress bar reaches 100%. Almost all activities will give progress towards your objective which will be tracked under your objectives tracker while in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms and also visible on the World Map.
Some of the activities that can be done to make progress on this includes:
Defeating enemies
Looting treasures
Interacting with most objects
Completing events
Completing daily quests
Finale: Defeat Torsheg
Once you reach 100% progress, you'll be challenged by Torsheg. Head to the Golden Stair, the northern entrance to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
Defeating Torsheg is the final objective of the assault, and will award you with 1500 reputation with the
莱加尼
along with any other rewards listed under the objective.
Notable Rares
Many rare creatures only spawn when certain assaults are active. While loot tables may not yet be finished, there is already one rare that will be very sought after and is only active during Mogu assaults.
Ha-Li
亥离
is a rare elite that flies between the Ruins of Guo-Lai and The Golden Stair. Ha-Li drops the mount,
亥离之嗣
.
Quests
There are some daily quests available located in the Vale while the Mogu assault is active. Completing these gives progress towards Stage 1 of the assault along with some standalone rewards.
Special Events
Scattered around the marked area of the
锦绣谷
you'll find many events that will show up on your minimap when near them. Completing these will give progress towards Stage 1 of the assault objective and a small amount of reputation with the
莱加尼
.
Mistfall in Flames
With the restoration of the
锦绣谷
, it seems Mistfall Village is also returning to always being set on fire. Similar to the classic Mist of Pandaria Golden Lotus dailies,
and

, you'll have to collect water buckets around Mistfall Village to douse the fires.
Electric Empowerment
The Mogu are empowering a creature with lightning! You'll need to defeat the Mogu and then defeat the empowered creature.
Bloodbound Effigy
For this event, you need to get a color buff by clicking a nearby torch, and then clicking on the matching colored rune
Vault of Souls
Start the event by interacting with the vase. You'll defeat waves of enemies until the large quillen attacks, then defeat the quillen.
Weighted Mogu Artifact
You'll need to travel through the trapped hallway and collected a weighted mogu artifact. You'll be debuffed with

, slowing you by 50%. Then you will need to take the weighted artifact and carry it back through the trapped hallway and place it on the podium in the center.
The trapped hallway is deadly, you will have to watch out for the Mogu statues which will begin to slam in a frontal cone when you walk near them. In additional, the floor tiles will kill you unless you are walking on the "safe" tiles. The single tile at the beginning of the hallway shows which tiles are safe to walk on.
Construction Ritual
For this event, you need to push the Tiger Statue so it intercepts the lightning beam between the large statue and the construct.
Baruk Obliterator
To destroy this construct, you will need to click on colored torches nearby and receive a debuff for that color. Then interact with one of the runes that matches the color you picked up. Do this 4 times to complete this event.
Serpent Binding
The serpent is being infused with energy, you need to defeat the Mogu to disrupt the ritual and then defeat the Cloud Serpent.
Stormchosen Arena
Three of the Mogu clans have created an arena. You'll need to defeat the Mogu in the arena and then one of the clan champions will challenge you. Defeat them to complete this event.
Za-Tien Serpent Cage
A
莱加尼战争翔龙
has been trapped in a magical cage. To unlock the cage, click on nearby colored torches to get a debuff for that color. Then click on the same colored rune next to the serpent cage and it will disappear. Do this for all 4 runes to complete this event.
Empowered Demolisher
The
巴鲁克破坏者
is being empowered with shadow magic. Disrupt this by interacting with all of the Spirit Reliquaries nearby that have a greenish aura pouring from it.
