WTF??? Didn't I kill this guy in WC 2?? And did he not die in the temple of Sargeras in WC 3: FT?
And most important - is it not his SKULL that Illidan has in his hand? "Skull of Gul'dan". I seem to recall that in Frozen Throne Illidan says that he consumed his skull to inherit his memories.
Strange that a guy that I have killed, Sargeras has killed, and Illidan has claimed his skull - can live. He isn't even a ghost
Gul'dan the Warlock, Master of the Inner Circle of the Shadow Council and Destroyer of Dreams, was the most powerful warlock in the Horde - indeed, the most powerful non-Eredar warlock ever to exist.
The spirit of Gul'dan is trapped in Shadowmoon Valley in what is now Outland - the remnants of Draenor. He appears to be trapped around the period of the opening of the Dark Portal, nearly forty years earlier.
A massive volcano in Shadowmoon Valley is known as the Hand of Gul'dan. According to the Earthen Ring, the volcano was raised from the valley floor by Gul'dan himself when he severed the orcish people's connection to the elemental spirits of Draenor.
This is a fake weapon i created to make fun of Gul'dan
hehe... he drops very good stuffs.
So, I randomly came up to this guy and saw he was channeling a spell. Being a nosey loser with too much time on his hands, I dropped from the sky to look at the buff. His buff was called Gul'dan's Channel, and the icon for it seemed to be a picture of someone. As in like a white dude with orange 'red' hair, possibly a game greator or something? I don't know, but I'm one to speculate. Just another treat hidden away within blizzard's game.
Important guy in history of wow!
Wow! 1 kill? Who killed this deity of warcraft? o_o
He could do a little more, he just kneels down, and occasionally stands up for a bit...then kneels again...
Errr, I thought this Horde betrayer had been killed. Wtf?
it is the ghost of Gul'dan, and u can see what he has done. thats why there is some spirits from the past behind him
guys you need to pay attention to WC3! frozen throne
ok long time ago when drenor was a planet guldan was slain in the manaforge ara but while he was bleeding he managed to channal all of his power in hes skull and then he uses his knife to cut hes head off and tear every thing away form the skull and then some person (i think khadgar) discoved the skull and bestowed it in a temple of some sort then later on illidan was going though felwood then arthas came and duels him and told him to get the skull of gul'dan (but arthas wanted him dead for a minon) after illidan retrive the skull
he became half demon and half night elf but as he grew stonger he became full demon in hes night elf form then the spirit of gul'dan followed the skull and hes spirt was free fomr the skull now hes soul of traped in shadow moon never to leave
NOTE(illidan dident want his demon for but just power but power has a price if he loses he allmight power he dies no entirly sure yet haha)
gul'dan was once a shamen but wanted power so he serced for it
and then the story goes on and on and ON!
This can be learned easily through warcraft three and the warcraft books at a store near you!
what the hell is that picture above me if it is one
SPOILER for the book : The Rise of The Horde : and the ending to the book :The Last Guardian :
Gul'dan used to be the apprentice of Ner'zhul. They were both shamans. When Kil'jaeden came to Ner'zhul in his spirit dreams as a form of one of Ner'zhul's loved ones, he tricked Ner'zhul and the enite orc race that the draenie were secretly planning on destroying the orcs. The orcs started killing off draenie and eventually took a large draenie town. Ner'zhul eventually found out that it was a demon that was telling him that the draenie were evil, but they really werent. Ner'zhul was crushed but it was too late to turn back, so Gul'dan took over. Eventually the elements stopped responding to all the orc shamans because the elements knew that what they were doing was wrong. Kil'jaeden taught Gul'dan the dark ways of the warlock. Gul'dan taught other orcs the ways of the warlock and those orcs taught the other orcs and so on. Finaly the orcs took out the temple of light and renamed it the black temple. There the orcs drank the blood of kil'jaedens apprentice. with the bloodlust that the orcs had, they attacked shattrath and took over. all the draenie except velen and a few other escaped. The sargeras/medivh told gul'dan to build a portal to azeroth, So that they could feed their bloodlust. and thats how they got there
(gonna ctrl+C for later lol)
Weird how, Illidan is holding his skull in the BT.
I thought he died though.
In warcraft 3, it was made to look that he died in the temple of sargeras.
Lol how can a dead mans skull be powerfull like this? And how can a living mans skull can be holded? HEhe this shows illidans power :P
:O when I played WC frozen throne I thought when maiev readed the marks on that sargerasses temples walls that gul'dan walked in temple ant met sargeras demon and there it ends.
and its kinda weird that he maybe died in WC3 frozen throne (did he?) and then he is ALIVE in Wow and in Black Temple Illidan holds his skull so its pretty weird to think and hard to get real anserw what happened rly and I hope Blizzard adds that gul'dans Real story to wow :D
I thought Gul'dan died when opening the Tomb of Sargeras, or maybe it was somebody else. Whoever opened the Tomb of Sargeras was killed by rogue demons, lol.
Is this some kinda joke? Gul'dan died in the second war.
he was in warcraft 3
It s no joke. He stands there as a ghost. And 4 aspects of his tattered soul stand around him.
Some speculated in that Illidan with him having the skull of Gul'dan had fused with Gul'dan similar to what Ner'zhul(the lich-king) and Arthas did.
But now while he is showing up in Outland as a ghost there I guess it was just nothing more then a mere speculation.
But strange anyway according to WC2 and WC3 he is supposed to have died in his search for Sargeras in the tomb of Sargeras(which is in Azeroth)which he only found empty and died so how did his spirit/Ghost end up in Outland then :D
