Omor will drain life, inflict a DoT that can hurt nearby members, and summon fel hounds. Simply fight, just kill the summoned mobs when they come ~ they're non elites.

Not hard. Tank him and dont let people stand too close to each other. he puts a curse (Decurse it) on you which does damage to people around the victim.
He summon felguards which dont have much health but hit fairly hard on clothies.
A he hits the tank in the air and brings him back. imagine an uppercut the scorpion's "Get over here" move from Mortal Kombat

Shaman keeping a Searing totem down seems to "taunt" the felhounds as soon as they spawn. This allows someone(the shaman, a rogue or hunter for example) a few more seconds to switch targets and dps them down before they can go after the squishies.
The shaman will need to recast the totem each time, as the felhounds will destroy it.

If you don't have someone that can decurse then just spread out, otherwise this is an incredibly simple fight. His curse doesn't do damage to the person that has it, just those in a 15 yrd range. The felhounds which are summonds have roughly 2k hp and can either be feared or just nuked down really quickly.
When you're not in melee range and have aggro he will just chunk shadowbolts at you.

Boss Abilities:
Treacherous Aura – Curse, periodically inflicting 360-440 shadow damage to targets within 15 yards. Mages can remove this.
Summon Fiendish Hound – Throughout the fight he will summon his pet fel hunter. Burn the fel hunter down and he will recast it, while he is recasting this spell he is not hitting your tank, thus lowering his overall DPS during the fight.. Apply a rogue to "hound duty"

Abilities:
Treacherous Aura: Curse that deals damage to nearby friendlies. Have a druid or mage decurse it, or simply spread out so it doesn't hurt anyone.
Felhound pet: Midway through the fight he will randomly summon his pet. It has standard felhunter skills so kill it fast or your casters will get spell locked. Also while summoning he deals no melee damage.
Levetate: He will randomly punt people into the air and then throw them around. Healers should top them off so fall damage doesn't kill them.
Tactics: Assign one person to pet duty. The pet has low HP so dies fast. Easy enough fight.

Omor isn't particularly different on heroic difficulty. Shadowbolts for 3-4k if the person he's aggroed on isn't in melee range, fairly weak melee attack. Still does the levitate and the betrayer aura (ticks for 4k now), and still summons felhounds, but the felhounds are pretty nasty - 1500 or so damage on clothies. Found the best way to deal with him was to just burn him down before the dogs became too much of an issue, as he's got low health. Dropped a reasonably good cloth DPS headpiece (

) and a rather good tanking-oriented 1h mace (

), in addition to the standard heroic boss drops.

Our group best way was just to zerg him down and fear all adds. Boss has pretty low healt pool so it works, we had mage, shaman, rogue, warrior and priest.

Heroic Strategy:
Our setup: 2x DPS, Hybrid, Warrior, Healer; ( Usually go with 2 mages holy priest and holy paladin )
It is very important that you keep huge distance from each other, he does a very nasty debuff that will instagib if you stand close to someone that has it.
Omar's main attack is Shadow Bolt, if you have a priest/paladin use the shadow aura/protection.
He summons felhunters that you don't them to get near your mana users:
This is our tactic, we let the 2 ranged dps, ( usually mages ) fight over the aggro, they both have mage armor and start with pyro pull, from there they just keep on spamming it, make sure you are at max range of Omor.
Me ( Warrior ) just went in and was whacking omar a bit, when he spawns the adds you tank them and make sure they are at the back of Omor, this way they won't mana burn the users, they hit fairly weak and you won't need alot of healing, if you go low health communicate with your healers to run back a bit and get a heal.
He goes down VERY fast, at 20% you can just go zerk stance and execute him, grats, you just killed the easiest primal nether boss in the game =).
Summary:
- Keep good distance from each other
- Stay max range from Omor
- Let your tank tank the fel hunters and tank them behind Omor
- Use Shadow Buffs
- Nuke the crap outta him.

Allright, this guy has to be broken. Our soul-crushing experience:
2 x Holy Paladin
1 x Prot Warrior
1 x Shadow Priest
1 x Rogue
Tried the ranged tanks strat using the Shad Priest. The healers all spread out and the warrior is aoe tanking the felhounds. Rogue is doing just fine on damage and the boss is dropping like a brick.
Then BAM, out of nowhere both pallys are zapped with SOMETHING that burns 100% mana. Same with Shadow priest. Fight's over at that point.
I don't see "AoE 100% Mana Burn" listed as one of his abilities. Is he glitched?

Burning him down before his dogs become a too big a problem works well - since he only has 82 000hp. Wiped on dogs few times, been able to get them down afterwards few times too. Easy badgin' :)

Ok, I'm happy to say rogues can be used quite well on this fight. I was determined to find a way (tired of hearing rogues suck in heroics), many of you have probably already figured this out.
Classes we had:
1x Prot Warrior
1x Holy Paladin
2x Fire Mage
1x Sub Rogue
First, have friends who will to stick by you, even though many fights can be harder with a rogue.
Second, stay at max range from Omor and each other. Under no circumstance rush in (even if he has 1k hitpoints left) because you will instantly nuke each other.
We used a mix of the ranged tank approach and a rogue tank. I began by tanking (rogue) and held aggro as long as I could. He would occassionally jump to the mages for a brief period and then back to me.
The Pally just healed whoever had aggro. I prepped and saved my 2nd evasion for an emergency but didn't need it.
The Prot warrior came in and out (I would say if I didn't have the debuff) and thunder clapped the adds to drag them out. He simply held all the aggro until Omor went down. If necessary, he feared all the adds off for a short time.
Omor went down fast. If you have a rogue tanking this, make sure he has some pots ready, but the Paladin was able to heal quite well (Pally is going to need pots too, the mana burn sucks).

We killed him on heroic just an hour ago, our party was as follows:
1 arms warrior
1 feral druid
1 sublety rogue
1 enchanement shaman
1 holy paladin (me)
So, as you can imagine this fight with 4 melee isn't an easy one, since the debuff he casts, bane of treachery, is basically an instant wipe if everyone is in its reach. Our 4th attempt was a victorious one, and we used the following tactics:
The warrior was using his 2 hander and normal DPS gear (Omor doesn't hit very hard), cat-druid, rogue and shaman we're all DPSing also. He doesn't got very much HP, so heavy DPS is good.
The warrior tanked the adds using sweeping strikes and whirlwind, and at the end feared them. I, the paladin, stayed at max range
At around 10-15 seconds in the fight, everyone except the tanking warrior ran to their own corners, to avoid killing team mates with the bane of treachery debuff aura. The one who gets the debuff will stay at max range and assist with healing or attempt to ranged DPS. Luckily the first aura was on me, and I didn't hurt anyone with it, since I was at max range all the time. Note, also using divine shield removes the buff (but it can't be dispelled by druids or mages). Everyone else who does not have the aura, can go back and DPS Omor.
Our warrior took "nuke" command seriously, and popped deathwish + recklessness, extreme heroic dungeon tanking.
Omor died before the second aura, but just dispersing before he casts it is a working tactics. Just beware of the felhunters, they burn mana at the rate of 3000 mana per spell.
Healers: Don't be afraid to burn up your mana, the fight doesn't last very long, it's a "nuke him down" fight.

We are all fully epic and still we cud not do it, Palla said same thing as what i read in a previous post, "fel hunter drained 10k mana in one hit"

And if not how the hell is a melee heavy grp supposed to do this. Running to seperate corners is too risky since he does the "curse" at random time.
Weird thing is that when we had no epics we cud kill him easily, grp was slightly different tho, instead of rogue and palla we had lock and disc priest.
He obviously doesn't like purple....

After wiping several times (heroic), my group finally listened to me and tried burning him down as fast as possible and when the adds started to build up, we feared them. Pretty easy with that strat.
We tried having one DPS class take the adds down but that wasnt quick enough. Worst case scenario you kill him and the adds take you down, but either way he is dead.

Soloable by Druid in Pre-Karazhan Tanking gear
12.8k Health, 22.2k Armor, no Int or healing gear, just pure tanking gear
Just do some happy tanking and once you get below 50%
Barkskin out, Healing Touch, Regrowth, Rejuv, 1 or 2 Lifeblooms
then just beat him up, go all out on the Felhounds when they spawn and keep Lacerate and Mangle on him..
Piece of cake boss with some good sellable loot :)

Just did this tonight on heroic, those felhounds, with their mana burn, were probably the worst part. Group composition was as follows....
1x Prot Pally
1x Holy Pally (me, healer)
2x Rogues
1x Mage (tank)
We tried two or three times last night to have the pally tank as normal, but the felhounds destroyed his mana pool and then mine as well resulting in the oh so predictable wipe. So we decided to try the ranged tanking approach tonight, and it worked a lot better. Basically had the mage stand next to the hallway we came in and the rest of us spread out. Except for the two rogues who stealthed behind Omor.
Omor spent his first 50% health or so just mindlessly shadowbolting the mage while I healed them, and then the tankadin would pick up the felhounds as they spawned and ran at the mage. When he did the betrayer's curse the first time it was on me, which is fine since nobody was near me. The second time he did it we were a bit lower and he got one of the rogues, who used cloak of shadows or whatever to get rid of it.
The mage died however when I got mana burned and was unable to heal them for a few seconds. I probably could have bubbled to avoid the mana burn but didn't think to do so. Was able to keep the rest of the group up for the last 15% or so with a mana pot & some divine illumination and we were able to drop him.
Not that bad of a fight with ranged tanking, but doable even with a very unconventional and moderately geared group.

I did this guy with a group he was easy, he has a curse that can be dispelled but if your group can't stay away from that person and he summoned two hounds that were'nt elites they stayed away from me, they hit our tank ( A paladin) and one of our mages.
Don't panic if he sends you flying and you are about to fall off the platform you're standing on he is a kind guy and he will pull you back at the cost of some HP, but if you go mad and run off the platform....well, lets just say it isn't going to be pretty :P

The best way to deal with this guy on heroic is to let a ranged class tank him while the tank takes care of the Felhounds and keeps them away from the healers or magic damagedealers. He shoots shadowbolts are the ranged Tank which are no problem to heal at heal (some shadow resist can help if your healer is undergeared).

I did this on heroic, and I had a bright idea to Mind Control one of the two casters before the boss. I believe it was a Darkcaster. First I had the rogue stun the caster so we could get in position for the boss. I let my group get aggro so I could position myself in between the caster and Omor, then I Mind Controlled him, dragged him towards the middle and spammed "Scorch"
This burned down the boss to at least 50% in maybe a minute before he got pissed and killed my MC'd mob. It was amazing how much damage it did, 2-3k scorches then Omor kills him for you. I should warn you though, I did die shortly thereafter, I don't remember to what, but the rest of the group handled him easily.
So you should give that a try, it's really fun to nuke down a boss that hard :D

Just back from a lengthy run through this place. A total of three party members exchanged, one DC after an other.
Given our party make up Omor gave us some real trouble:
Me, prot warrior (12k+ unbuffed)
Resto shammy
Other guys, but the final three who brought down the last two bosses were
Subtlety rogue (awesome gear)
Feral druid (also awesome gear)
Frost mage (well geared).
Having two melee DPS on Omor is no fun. Two or three tries went to waste trying to have them deal with adds and DPS boss in between. Either the debuff ticked em to hell, or the adds became too much, so we were like, screw it, and went all out on the boss.
Shammy ran in and bloodlusted and dropped Fire Elemental, I tanked adds with Thunder Clap, rest DPSed to their hearts' content. End result: Omor dead in 30-40 seconds, tops. Some adds were left, which were easily dealt with.
(I came out after four hours with the breastplate, plate helmet, epic dagger, and a measly two badges.)

2nd time we just went all out. No salvation on anyone. This guy fell over like a cripple (no offense to large, crippled demons). His loot was better for the group than the other bosses in the dungeon. He dropped a lot of stuff. A BoE, a few BoP, etc.
General Tip: I've found that the strat for many bosses (heroic and non) could be "burn them down" and you wouldn't do too bad.

We had it easy all the way through, buffed up with Fortitude and Kings the druid had 9.1k hp in bear, i had 7.5k, we split tanking between us, at Omor he tanked him until the Felhunters spawned, i burned them down with exorcism and holy wrath, and grabbed aggro from druid when he was getting low on hp.
The priest had 6.2k mana but not a great amount of + healing though we managed everything okay. I got the Light-Touched Breastplate. A bit of trouble overpulling on trash though.

Just a heads up. Did a heroic Ramp last night and NO nether drops at all.
he dropped the epic dagger & like 3 blues and a epic healing gem. Again NO nether at all. I don't know why it didn't drop.

Having a warlock in group makes this fight, both in normal and heroic, a bliss. Have him tanked in the normal way - when the adds spawn, the warlock should enslave one and used it against him. It usually dies fast anyway. If you get multiple adds, keep one banished, fear any excess. If your tank has problem surviving, you can let the warlock tank it and use the tank to pick up any loose adds.

Farming Ramps On heroic for some time, have discovered something about this boss.
If you have no melee on him he spawns a maximum of two dogs. I usually swap out my warrior for my hunter and we all take him down ranged with me killing the adds.
Really does make for a very easy fight.

Easy solo on regular difficulty for a 65 Hunter with BM build. Mark him, set down Immo Trap and a Scorpid Sting, wear him down with Aimed -> Arcane -> Conc -> Steady shots, keep refreshing the DoTs, and hit a Rapid Fire and Bestial Wrath at about the same time. Good to have a super health potion and some good bandages just in case the felhunters get to you, but they're easily dispatched anyway. Nothing touched me until halfway through the fight when I mended my ravager (maybe stick in a Multishot right before then), and then I just feigned death and they left me alone after a few seconds.
He's not hard to get to by yourself either, if you want to farm some blues. Hug the walls around Gargolmar as best you can, take out the trash mobs, or sacrifice your pet for agro and run past, then feign when they come after you (I had to do this 3 times to get to Omor). Your pet won't be too happy about it, but just throw him some ribs or venison.

Yesterday I did Hellfire remparts and when hes does his shadow whip ability if you have shadowstep you can use it and instead of falling and dealing with 1000dmg you dont get any dmg!!!

On normal difficulty (probably heroic too), he has a spell called
Demonic Shield
that he does at around 20%. Kinda messes up attempts to kill him solo. Caught me off guard first time I tried to burn him down on my rogue. Btw, if you stealth past the 2 adds and attack from behind him, the adds don't come with him.

on heroic I recommend ranged dps and healer to spread out to avoid bane of treachery effect, it is nasty - hit me for 3000+ damage every sec till it killed me

He will curse you with treacherous aura, which will do damage to your fellow players - so keep distance too eachother, so you won't afflict your team.

He also summons adds (they look like Felhunters). They are very easy to kill (2-3k life).
The boss also punts people.

Boss is fairly easy for new 60s, and pie for well equipped.
As was said above, he will:
- Repeatedly put a curse on everyone. curse lasts 10-15 seconds. Can be cured by mages.
When the curse expires it deals some shadow damage to cursed and close party members.
-> stay 10-15yards away from each other
- Repeatedly spawn felhounds. you will get a new one every now and again and will probably fight the boss with 5-6 hounds if you dont kill them
They go down in 3-4 Arcane Explosions (depending on gear)
They can be feared away, so if there isnt a mage AOEing them priests should not hesitate to aoe fear or it'll take a long time to cast spells.
- the boss punts the MT up in the sky from time to time (maybe 4-5 times a fight) and will give a couple swings at someone else while the MT is up.
Make sure your MT grabs him direct after that.
He's not a hard boss, just make sure you stay away from each other.
Done with a priest (me), FUry warrior, Elemental Shamy, Frost mage and Lock.
Dropped Crystalfire staff.

Tanks, as with any big knockback, don't forget to swap to zerker in the air and you can intercept before landing to avoid fall damage/get back faster.

This particular thread concerns the "heroic" version of the boss in this case the DoT is no longer a curse but a debuff that lasts 15sec doing anywhere from 4500-6000 shadow dmg to your fellow players, the felhounds will now manaburn a caster for 65-100% of thier mana and still does the knockback... goodluck.

Normally a fairly hard boss on heroic.
My group had 2 mages 2 paladins and a warrior.
To do this we had a mage (me) tank the boss, by doing this he just throws shadowbolts at me the whole time rather than coming up and hitting me, these shadowbolts do from 3.5k-4k damage. The paladins just healed me while the mage and our warrior took out the fiendesh hounds. Very easy this way and it avoids the hounds from mana burning your casters

Me and a party of 5 killed this guy on Heroic. Its kind of a race i would say for this fight, he has to die fast like in 20 seconds or everyone is going die by those fel hounds. We got this guy down to like 9% percent in like 15 seconds into the fight, but suddenly 3 of the party members died instantly. Its mainly a DPS fight and you need good DPS for it.

This boss is really easy as long as somones on adds and you avoid the Bane of treachery, it's an Aoe he puts on one target that does like 2.5k shadow damage to everyone within 15 yards of the affected person, if the tank gets it meele dps should run. Caster should be far enough away from everyone else for it not to matter. Other than that it's really easy on heroic

Killed this guy 20+ times on my shaman (63 now, still no Crystalfire. :S) but on heroic with my rogue: It was another thing. (Maybe because party didn't understand you shouldn't stand HUGGING while you got aura) anyway:
Easy boss, pretty much tank&spank.;
Abilities:
Treacherous Aura (Inflicts lots of shadow damage to party members close; DO NOT stick together, if melee dps get this DO go away.) Let someone with proper & fast damage kill adds as they come. (Cast time, about 0,5 second) they'll go on healer as next heal arrives; So make it quick. As elemental shammy; (New 60, no fancy 60 epix) I killed em in 1 - 2 lightning bolt (in some occasions a shock was needed) but is easy anyway! (or use Elemental Mastery, Chain lightening on boss while add is close to, and shock add)
He'll sometime throw melee's into air; attacking someone else. (if tank then try to avoid him as far as possible; Evasion etc.)
Issues is that you get aggro from him VERY Easily (on heroic I got aggro several time even spamming feint; and thats with epic prot warr) if healer get aggro and he starts a shadowbolt healer could just get shielded, or something alike .
Conclussion: Easy boss, just listen & know what to do, or... You'll be fooked ^^ GL all, <3

Solo'd as a moonkin at 70, just kill his pets when they come out. He has a shadowbolt spell that hits for ~1700 but they are resisted frequently.

Just killed him after three attempts on Heroic. You need a Warlock for this fight.
-Use the lock to banish the first summoned Fel Hound.
-Use the lock to enslave the second summoned Fel Hound.
-Have the lock use the second Fel Hound on the Third if it spawns, DPS like the @#$% on the boss, he is actually very easy.
And remember to be aware of the Curse he uses on the individual party members.

This guy is cake with a lock in heroic mode. lock need over 10k of health and a happy finger for seraring pain. method is called 1337. not sure why. lock hit omor from max range with searing pain over and over so the lock holds aggro, the MT gets the adds ( this wont work with a pally tank because of his mana) and the rest of the group burns him, if you have a good lock he shouldnt lose aggro. so in a sence the lock is tanking. have fun and a open mind and try this it works great. if you wanna see some basic lock gear to see if your lock cna do it imon armory names yaphilla on khaz modan server

We killed him several times in heroic mode. The tactic is simple:
- ranged ppl should spread to avoid the damage from the aoe debuff
- dedicate 1 or 2 ranged dps to kill the hounds: as the hound appears nuke him down and change back to the boss.
So the key is nuking the hounds ASAP. This way we killed the boss even 4man without any difficulty.
If someone want more details I can tell that when I was on the adds (frost mage) usually I stood at max range from the boss and max heal range from the healer. As hounds appeared next to the boss I started to cast a frostbolt at them (they stood next to the boss for a lil while before they started for the healer so the bolt hit them well before they would have reached the healer). They turned on me but because I stood at max heal range they had to run a lot and faced my second bolt.
When the hound was not already dead at this point I finished it off with an instant spell.

heres the deal, i ran this instance for the first time at lvl60 and didnt wipe once.
had a fair versatile group; retpally(me), hunter, lock, priest and another hunter.
this dropped from the last chest found and it made me very happy, although i hadn't known of the blade beforehand.
before anyone could say anything, the hunter needed it.
i had actually told the group that i DESPERATELY needed a new 2H before we had even entered the instance (still wielding a lvl46/7 warmonger lol)
now of COURSE i needed the polearm...so i needed the polearm and of COURSE i lost it to that (&*%(*&% hunter.
he left us and hearthed...then logged
(if i was a jerk id post his name and my server but im not ;P)
now ok, this CAN be used by a hunter, but whats the preferable class for this wep? can anyone tell me?
cos im SURE i wouldve made better use of it than that jerk, and all the plate drops went to our prot pally

Both times i was in ramps im a rouge so im DPS,he punts me insed of MT every time, MT had arggo all the time, or maby thats cuz im a gnome?

He summons numerous adds. They look like Felhunters, have 2-3k life and are easy to kill. He punts people around.
I **think** he casts a curse on a party member that create an AoE shadow around the target party member. For instance, if a Mage got cursed, he would start hurting the whole back row (Priest, etc). Kinda like the Baron in UD Strath, but on one of us instead of on the boss. Stay far from each other to avoid this.

The curse is easy to handle, as long as someone who can decurse keeps half on eye on the party to decurse it, rather than spread everyone out beyond healing range.
But beware - last week he put the curse on my frog pet. Not a hunter pet, a cosmetic pet. It took me a second to figure out why we were all dying when none of the party was cursed. A quick decurse cured it, but until they fix this bug (if they ever bother), be sure not to have cosmetic pets out during this fight!

It's simple, really...I mean, yeah, you can't really underestimate these bosses in HFC and the reservoir-or whatever it's called-just because they're five mans. But they are not overly difficult either. Spread out, rogue would be most suited to killing the adds, or a mage...watch the dps, tank and spank...the end. Shadow resistance and fire resistance is helpful but not absolutely neccessary.

Pretty much the same basic principles in the Heroic Mode version, just... his spells and his melee damage hit for more. He also spawns his adds more frequently. The group I ran with just DPS'd him down while fearing the adds. Probably beneficial to have non melee DPS in your group, so the curse isn't an issue.

Get a mage to manage the adds.
punts are annoying but didnt seem to drop aggro
the curse he does seemed to not be as nasty when we all spread out.
Pally had fun with exorcism on this boss. said it was doing nice damage.
considering bringing some Shadow resist gear next time around...those eshadowbolts hurt.

People who say "Don't bring a rogue" to this Heroic instance are talking bollocks or haven't tried doing it.
Group setup * heroic
1 x F.Druid
1 x Holy Paladin
1 x Rogue
2 x Hunters
Druid tanked bosses and gained aggro on the Felhound adds. The debuff that the boss does will only affects 1 person so we had the druid tank and the rogue dps the boss + adds, when ever the debuff was wearing off a ranged dps person or ranged healer we informed the Rogue to run out, wait and see who got the debuff and if it was a ranged person again, the rogue could run in again and dps the boss.
Simple.

Key to this is that when you get affected by his aura, stay away from everyone else. Otherwise the damage from the that will take out the casters pretty quick. Otherwise, nothing special.

Spread out, a mages time is better speant spamming his nuke of choice on this guy. 15yds is nothing given the area this boss is located in. We've never removed the curse or wiped on him.
As cake as a boss can be.

He only has 80,000 health on Heroic. His debuff does
far
more damage than the tooltip for it says, so spread out to not have to worry about it. Have the tank try to build threat on the dogs he summons so they don't mana burn the casters. He doesn't do much physical damage to the tank, so you can screw all dedicated healing and just DPS the crap out of him. Passive healing from Shadow Priests and/or Heal-Over-Times will be all the healing you'll need.
Bad luck can wipe in the form of lots of whipping the tank into the air and causing the dogs to mana burn then kill casters. It's also bad to have people standing close because the debuff will kill someone quick that way.

The trick is decursing.
We had trouble defeating him the first four times... we wiped but I read the comment all the way at the bottom.
If you're having trouble, get a druid on decurse duty and ask everyone to stay away from each other, eventually he'll go down easy.

I just soloed omor on my level 70 BM spec hunter, I do not have terribly good gear or anything, but i am a persistant bastard.
I cleared only as much of the trash as I needed to on my way in and snuck / FD by the rest.
The 1st time I attacked omor I didnt expect to last more than a few sec. I was amazed when i got him down to 1/5 health before I died. after a couple more tries i figured out the trick to soloing him as a hunter really is using the shadow protection potions. if you use one potion then wait for the cooldown to be done before starting the fight you will be able drink a 2nd when the 1st one fails (this is why waiting for the cooldown before starting the figth is important). i also suggest dropping a freeze trap at your feet well before he summons pets for a similar effect with its cooldown.
when positioning yourself for the fight stay at max range.
When starting the fight Be sure that you have his aggro firmly on you and NOT your pet, this should only take a couple of shots. If you do this he will focus his attacks on you by blasting you with shadow bolt type spells while your pet picks away at him.
every once in a while he will summon a pet to protect him... these usually stay on my pet. being the nice master that i am i pull one onto myself and promptly freeze it to help reduce the damage my pet is taking. im confident that this isnt really need though.
By the time the 2nd shadow protection potion wears off he should be close to dead. once he drops cleaning up the felstalker adds is easy.
most likely by the time you can do this the gear he drops will not be anything you would use but sometimes its fun to try something just for the challenge of it =P

He knocked me back through the air and as I was about to fly off the side a purple light shot out and pulled me back. So for a while I was tossed back and forth on a purple chain. It was fun. As a rogue, I didn't take nearly as much damage for falling when he finally dropped me.

I've done my share of Ramparts and I've NEVER seen Crystalfire Staff drop. All the lvl60 casters always say "I'm just here for staff off second boss" and they never get it.

? On the Sounds tab, the sound that is named "HELL_Omor_Summ01" (or just use the link) is what I want to know about specifically. My first guess has always been that he is saying the names of the felhounds he summons, but I am not 100% sure because he may just be saying something entirely different and speaking in Demonic. idk why but I am just so curious about that. If you know, please answer! Thank you.
