Outdoor 25 man Raid boss, Shadowmoon Valley. If he kills you, you get a mark on you for 15 minutes. Just like the outdoor Dragons in Azeroth, you cannot enter back in combat with him until the mark has worn off. If you do then there is bad consequences!

My mobhealth addon clocked Doomwalker at 2,300,000 HP (2.3mil), not 230,000 as is listed above.
Doomwalker has three main abilities:
Overrun, which seems to be a random charge effect that damages everyone he runs past or directly over for 750-1250ish damage. He returns to the primary aggro holder afterwards.
Earthquake, which does 8k damage over 8 seconds (4 ticks of 2000) in a large radius around him. Everyone is knocked down/stunned for the duration of this effect, so everyone needs to be kept over 8000hp. Despite the ability being named earthquake it's simply anyone in a large radius around him, as folks on flying mounts got hit with it and killed when they never landed.
If you are killed by Doomwalker, you get a 15 minute "Mark of Death" debuff, which will instantly kill you if you get within ~50 yards of Doomwalker.
He enrages at 20%. Other then the high stam requirement on everyone, he's pretty straightforward.

I ran by him wearing my tanking gear, with a couple buffs on, just exploring the area. At 13000 AC, he nailed me from behind with a crushing blow for 12488 damage, autoattack. Ouch.

Mob is severely bugged, earthquake hits people farming the temple above even if no one is engaging him. Also can hit flyers.

Here is the complete list of his abilities. Thank you
"Earthquake"
Physical damage. 100 yard range. Deals a total of 8000 damage (2000 ever 2 seconds). Cannot be mitigated with armor. It is possible to move out of range once the ability has started, but players may often get stunned and knocked down. The simplest way to counter-act this ability is to always have health over 8000. You should bandage once the ability has stopped. Occurs at least once every minute!
"Overrun"
Periodic Buff on Doomwalker which increases his movement speed by 100%. When this buff is active he will deaggro and charge other players (based on threat). Off tanks should taunt when Doomwalker comes into their vicinity and drag him back to the center. A main tank should taunt him off the off tank. All DPS should stop during this ability. Occurs at least once every 45 seconds!
"Lightning Wrath"
Nature damage (Binary Resist). An attack similar to that of C'Thun stage 1, but not as frequent. The lightning will chain between players and the damage will increase as the chain gets larger. All ranged DPS should stack on each other in piles of 2. This will create more room for other players, and guarantee that only 2 players ever get hit. This is a much safer strategy than hoping only 1 player gets hit with little room. Players should spread out in distances of 10 yards because the lightning cannot chain beyond that. This ability can never hit the main tank.
"Sunder Armor"
Reduces the armor of the players tanking, eventually to a point where the main tank can easily die. The two tanks should alternate tanking. When tank A has 3-4 stacks, tank B should Taunt and tank. When tank A loses his Sunder Armor, he should Taunt back. This way, you will always have a tank with low amounts of Sunder Armor. This will make healing much easier, allowing you to heal other players who are getting hit by Overrun, Earthquake, and Lightning Wrath.
"Enrage"
Ocours when Doomwalker reaches 20% health. As of Feburary 19th 2007, a hotfix was applied to fix Enrage giving double damage to Doomwalker's Abilities. It is no longer possible to get instantly killed with an Enraged Earthquake. The fight will occur as normal except all auto attacks (ie. non special abilities) will be double damage during this period. If a tank dies, the off tanks should run in, taunt, and immediately hit Shield Wall until they possibly die.
"Mark of Death"
Debuff given to a player when they die in range of Doomwalker. They are unable to attack Doomwalker for 15 minutes. Any player with this debuff will automatically die should they get close to him.(##RESPBREAK##)396##DELIM##Buuloki##DELIM##

For the most part, the fight is tank and spank with a bit of C'Thun Eye Beam-esque spreading. Basically, MT, 1OT, and melee will tank him on the 'road' in the center (retardedly large hitbox, think Onyxia/Kazzak). Groups 1 - 8 will spread out and group up in number of 2s to limit how many people at once get hit with Chain Lightning. Or, if you prefer, you can harken back to Emeriss and how you did group positions there.
When he Overruns, DPS stops, and a tank (we use a Tankadin to yank him back to the center, frees up other Warriors to relax a bit) will pull him back to the center. Overrun resets aggro, so adjust accordingly. Earthquake pops, have over 8k health, bandage/pot, heal. Lather, rinse, repeat. OT/MT switch when Crush Armor gets too high.
Sounds easy, harder in execution as he's constantly moving around. Taxing on healers, as he doesn't pull his punches, and you *have* to get people topped off after Earthquakes and CLs. At 20%, the real fight begins.
His enrage is retarded in how hard he hits (11-15K normal hits on plate, and that's before any Crush Armors) and you basically have two options: Feral tank with as much armor as possible to soak up and reduce the hits to a bit more than pre-enrage, or Shield Wall tank rotation. Sometimes, you will get extremely lucky and have a Warrior mitigation like crazy -- be glad, praise him, and milk it for all its worth because you're going to need it.
You really want to wait to push enrage *after* an Earthquake. The Earthquake doesn't insta-gib anymore, but the hits he lands on the tanks as the healers struggle to get him up after taking the 8K DoT almost always does.
20% is basically "you better kill me before I kill you" DPS, so give him *EVERYTHING* you have. The best analogy I can give is like trying to tank Battleguard Sartura's "Out of time" enrage for 20%; it's not enough to kill in one swing (unless you are crushed by a parried attack or shortly after coming out of Earthquake as he melees from incredibly far away (i.e. our tank with full epics from Karazahn and 3/5 T4 got one-shot for 27K after an Earthquake because he misjudged how close DW was, though TBH it wouldn't had mattered at that point since he had 4 Crush Armors on him and was the only tank alive)) but you feel like it should be.
It's not easy.
In patch 2.1, he has voice clips, and sounds like a terrible impression of Darth Vader.

Also he can not be kited....he stops right at the opening of the "walk area" he has....if you find someone raiding him and you shoot him, i would sugjest not to. it is very easy to wipe and if your a clothie and the raid wipes hes goin after you in one hit.

Doomwalker is a powerful Fel Reaver sent by Kil'jaeden to assault the gates of the Black Temple in Shadowmoon Valley.
It has exactly the same abilities as the normal Fel Reaver except from the Overrun ability that is described below. It is much stronger and hurts a lot more.
Special Abilities

Earthquake - 2,000 physical damage every 2 seconds (total 8,000 physical damage). He will be stunning everyone for the duration of this spell. This stun can be avoided with any kind of shield. The damage will hit players flying overhead, as well, but again, avoiding the stun.

Chain Lightning - This appears completely random. It damages the first target for estimated 2,000 damage. It will jump like normal chain lightning to anyone within 5-10 yards doubling the damage for every hit! (spread out to avoid being hit)

Overrun - Randomly charges people, they get knocked back. This appears to wipe the aggro. Best countered with tanks being ready to pick him up. He will do this spell several times in a row until he is picked up. The buff is described as "Increases run speed by 100%" and lasts 5 seconds.

Enrage - At 20%, all physical damage is doubled. Kills even Shield Walled tanks.
If you are killed by Doomwalker you gain the debuff Mark of Death. This debuff (similar to the Dragons of Nightmare bosses) means that you can only attempt this boss once every 15 minutes, because the Aura of Death would kill you instantly.

There appears to be issues with Misdirection on Doomwalker. Occasionally, he will switch from the Hunter pulling to the main tank (MT) accordingly, but while running past still attack (and kill) the pulling Hunter. An alternative solution you may use is having a Paladin body or ranged pull (bombs, Avenger's Shield, Holy Shock, etc.), run to the MT while the Hunter operates Misdirection, and then use Divine Shield before he is hit. This allows the Hunter to stay behind the tank (and thus not get hit due to glitches), the MT to snag hate, and no one die on the pull.

This fight seems to be centered around allowing guilds to see how all three tanks (Paladin, Druid, Warrior) can work together on a single boss fight:

There is a workaround to Doomwalker's enrage. A feral tank can easily soak up the damage from Doomwalker while enraged and not die provided their armor value is incredibly high, due to it being a physical attack. The feral tank will end up taking more damage than a Warrior will pre-enrage, but nothing compared to the double damage a Warrior will take once outside of shield wall (an unlucky crushing blow will obliterate a Warrior in one shot).

While many guilds will suggest you use Warriors to Taunt and pull Doomwalker back into the center, some have switched to using Paladins simply because of the range allowed with Righteous Defense. A simple macro can allow the Paladin to simply "yank" the mob back into the center without needing any further assistance from Warriors on the edge by spamming the macro before it targets a non-tank.

Doomwalker will leash if pulled too far from his normal path.

His area effects (Earthquake, Aura of Death) will affect players who are flying. It is strongly advised to stay away from him even while in flight, as a death in mid-air can make corpse retrieval difficult or impossible. He will periodically cast Earthquake as he patrols, which can catch players off-guard.

Well, I did this guy about a month ago with 31 people and wiped :P. After you wipe you get Mark of Death, pretty much: don't try to rez by your body till its gone, or you will die, what happened to us is pretty much not enough healers, and non-experienced players. IMO, don't bother trying him without some experience in your group.

all nice and all but what is his respond time? 1 day? if he has a short respond time it might be nice to basicly farm his gear for the g bank alowing people that just hit lvl 70 to be well geared and start off on the right foot

I'd have thought not given that by the time you're raiding world bosses like him you're probably not doing the SH attunement.
Also the "Hotter Than Hell" SH attunement quest for both Horde and Alliance specificaly states, that you have to kill a felreaver in Hellfire Peninsula. Link to that quest below.

My mom wanted me to show her how WoW "looked like" showed her Nagrand, Netherstorm, moved into Shadowmoon Valley...
When I came to the black temple I saw this guy.
Level ? Mechanical Boss.
I looked at him from the back of my Flying mount, saw him do something into the ground... noticed I got the "Earthquake" Debuff... 2k every 3sec for not sure how long it was.... luckily I died close to the Ata'mai Terrace so I could run there and ress up.

Liar. We took this guy on today after killing Kazzak quite easily. He's a fair bit harder. Got him down to 30% after 3 attempts, our tank was getting hit for 1800 and he's got a few 70 blues, a few 70 epics and 1 piece of T4. Hits were slow, but he has the earthquake debuff that hit's for 2k every 2 seconds for 8 seconds and stuns. So make sure everyone has over 8k hp or at least get a shield on them. Also spread out because he does a lightning shield that hits for 2k, then goes up 2k each time it jumps. I had a shield on and got hit for around 12k with it first time we tried him. We also had tanks on all 4 sides that assisted with tanking as the MT loses agro during the stuns i think. We did ok after only 3 attempts. Should get him next time pretty easily

Downed him last night, very easy boss to kill.
Earthquake for all of you who are mentioning it , ticks for 8k , no less, no more, apart from during enrage, which starts when he gets to 20% HP. Enrage increases damage by up to, and including 50%, This is very deadly and can start one shotting your raid during the earthquake (Pre-patch) everyone in the raid HAS to have 8k hp or more buffed. or they WILL die during the earthquake, no doubt about it, You can't mitigate this with armor, or resistance so don't bother trying.
Everyone has to be a certain distance away from each other, and melee has to stand in packs of 2 to avoid chanelling the chain lightning too much. it increases in damage the further it goes, so if your too close and it channels, you could kill quite a few members of the raid

This is probably a waste of a comment, but i'm bored, and @ college.
He is killable with 25 people.
You CAN take 40 people, as it is an outdoor boss, aka. nightmare dragons, kruul, kazzak etc..
And as mentioned before, he IS harder then kazzak, but after a few goes, he is easily killable and you could stick him on farm, if you wanted the loots at all.
So yeah, he ISNT impossible, he ISNT hard, and IS killable, you just need coordination, such as it is with every raid, or 5 man heroic.
The debuff lasts 15 minutes, this is applied IF you get killed by him, You CANNOT go near him until the debuff is out, or you WILL get 1 shotted.
In response to the other comment::
He doesn't have a level as he is a boss level character, blizzard have rumoured to suggest that boss level characters could possibly be around level 100 (pre-tbc)

This is a very tough 25 man raid boss.. so if you can "just kill and loot it" please come do that for me and give me the drops.
With all sarcasm aside, yes it is just a boss there for drops only. So kill it and abuse the items it drops for you, very nice drops.

took us 3 attempts, we had a pug 40 man raid with some of the best alliance guilds doing it. Downed him had good fun keep everyone above 8k hp as the earthquake does 8k dmg, if you keep everyone above 8k no one should die off the earthquake. 150ft radius is a %^&*! but the healers gotta stay in with the tanks, the melee dps should run out or they will die. Deadlyboss Mods really helps as it tells you when its going to happen.
-Alacalash 70 paladin who got the dps axe off him as no warriors wanted it :)

Had a 35 man raid with this boss last night. We downed him on our third try (had to learn the fight). Basically, we died and dueled eachother until debuff wore off.
The key is +9k health on every party member after buffs.
Keep maintank up. Stop DPS when he random-charges.
As a mage with 9.2k health, I found it very, very useful to actually run out of combat (easy to do since the first 80% of the fight is not that difficult) to eat and drink.
So... DPS slow. When he charges (resets agro) stop DPS. After earthquake, if you aren't getting party heals, run out, eat/drink, wait until after next earthquake, run in and start again.
Then, when he hits 20%, all out DPS for the quick burn.

I got lucky, was flying around in birdy form and got shifted out, hit the ground for 4k damage and he missed me 4 times in a row :D just enough time for me to flail around like a moron before hit hit me twice for over 10k.

I would love to give it a try on him. I'm prot warrior, and in a raid, fully buffed i can get up to 20k hp and 15k armour, so that should help :P

The debuff causes you to inflict massive amounts of damage to anyone ANYWHERE near you if you rez near this bad mofo. Kind of like emeriss shrooms but with a much larger range. Regular hits 17-20k on cloth, not sure what the earthquake debuff does exactly, probably a patchwerk-ish encounter.

Is he a new Shadowmoon Valley World Boss? I ran into him by mistake and was 1 shot with 18k crushing damage at lvl 68, Warrior, "Mark of Death : You have been wekened by Death! Susceptible to Aura of Death."

Yeha hes a new world boss at 70 full prot and 11k hp and 5/9 DN he one shot me with a crushing blow. also if you get within range of him with the mark you instantly die. he is another world boss in outland.

Doomwalker is not easy, and requires a lot of discipline in the raid, as positioning and actions need to be tightly controlled. Still, he's one of the few encounters you can go out of combat and use a flying mount in!
