Pretty easy boss if you have a good group, we had 2 healers, a tank, and 2 dps.
The fight is an endurance fight. He does a random shrink, throws saws. and sometimes does lightning damage.
he will spawn technians at 75%/50%/25% this will try to heal, so interupt them at all cost otherwise they will heal.
If you kill them quick its an easy fight

A real bitch in heroic. He starts out with three adds, and summons more one at a time continously during the fight. Our solution with mage, mage, warlock, paladin, feral druid (me) was to go spam nukage + swipe at start and get the first ones down asap, then nuke boss and have the mages single target nuke down the new spawns (I helped finish off several as well). Ended up swipe-interrupting three adds' heals on the last 5% or so while mages and warlock went all out, tho, was a close call.
Not many other changes I could see, saws prolly hit harder.

we wiped about 10 times in heroic, with deftank, warlock, hunter, paladin and priest, as the adds dispell SoC as well as fear, and our damage output wasnt enough to kill the adds before new ones spawn.
we almost gave up, then did one try with a shaman instead of the paladin, and with bloodlust enabled we had him down shortly after it wore off ...
DDs ignored the adds almost completely, the priest spammed lvl1 holy nova to interrupt adds at healing, plus mass fear was used several times to interrupt additionally.

Heroic:
Have a Mage stand under the boss and run in circles spamming Rank One Arcane Explosions throughout the fight. If you have a Hunter, have him lay a Frost Trap to help the Mage stay ahead of the adds. The adds won't be able to do any regular healing because of the Mage so have the rest of the group tank and spank the boss to death. Simple fight if you find a way to interrupt the healing. Have fun killing 15 or so adds after the boss dies.

this fight is rather simple on heroic, the fight being much the same as in normal mode.
healing
your group should really, for heroics, have 2 healers. the stongest healer should be healing your main tank. if your a priest use rank2/3 greater heal, this should heal for around 2-3k depending on your +healing, this is also great on the mana and allows alot of regen during the fight. the offhealer should be healing a mage if you have one and out healing the saw effect which the boss uses on the group every now and then.
adds
in our group setup our only dps is 2 hunters. we found using both hunters to kill the 1/2/3 add(s) which spawn very easy and fast, we gave the adds priority over the boss himself as they heal him. because the adds died so quickly the hunters themselves had plenty of time to dps the boss. make sure ur dps use dots on the boss to kill him alittle whislt killing the adds. moves such as multishot which hit more than one target help alot here and should be used when ever available
note: the adds use a channel heal, so if u dont manage to kill all of them at least hit them to cancel/slow this effect
a small problem
i did notice the adds ''netting'' people during the fight, this didn't seem to happen alot, but when it did it usually happend to the people killing the adds. healers be aware of this as the netted person will of course need more healing than normal whilst netted.
Overall the fight last a little longer than in normal mode due to the adds and the boss having a little more health, which is a little demanding on the healers mana, but a priest with a stong 9/10k mana pool should be able to keep the main tank up alone, i strongly suggest using greater heals, while the offhealer heals the group.
yet again we got normal loot from this boss - pala healing helm :(

This fight is easy on Heroic.
It's the same as the "Normal" fight, but instead of him spawning 3 at a time, he just spawns one every 7 seconds or so? Have your ranged nuke the 1 he spawns, then just get back on the boss.
We did it with War, Priest, Warlock, Mage, Rogue. No worries.
The only part that kinda hurt was the saw blades, hit for 2k. Just bandages after you get hit if you're healer is low on mana. =)

We have done several runs in heroic mode and the best party was Warrior+Mage+Hunter+Pala+Priest. In the last 2-3 times we couldn't make good party for this boss, so we decided to try pull the boss away and a rogue used the control panel behind him to open the door to the last boss. This boss has only crap loot and if we want badge we do a fast Mechanar for 3 "free" badges :P

Just downed this boss on heroic with the following setup.
Shadow Priest, Healer Paladin, Tank Warrior, Warlock and a Mage, and what we essentially did was to just tag the healers he spawn so they get a lil pissed off and nuke like theres no tomorrow and it went down faster than ever before, this requires a healer that can both tank and heal tho so it wont work for everyone, but if you have the dps you can just nuke it.

Heroic:
Had a very successful strat as a Resto shaman on this boss. More of a compliment to the mage AE strat than a replacement, but perhaps it could be made to work:
Stand near where the adds like to heal. Keep Earthshield on yourself, instead of the main tank. Drop rank 1 magma totem. Replace rank 1 magma totem whenever it expires. You should be pulling a fair number of the healing adds onto yourself. Whenever they start to heal, the magma totem will interrupt them and they'll likely start hitting you (a rank 1 magma totem is unlikely to draw aggro and die prematurely). But with stoneskin and earthshield, the damage should be mostly negligable. And with Earth Shield on yourself and 5/5 Healing Focus, your heals will be just as fast as ever.
Complement this with a priest or warlock fearing and a perhaps a mage picking up others and the fight is extremely trivial.

If you don't feel like doing this guy on Heroic you can just have someone take care of the sniper and walk to the organ thing and open the door to Kalithresh.
Also, he can be resetted by jumping off the bridge into the water.
All you really lose is 1 badge boo hoo.

u can get to him from first boss if u go in the water and swim u will come up in the Slave master room, right before this boss (p.s. make sure a shaman has water walk to make it go faster)

Heroic Mode:
Maybe I never noticed it on normal mode, but on heroic mode, his repair gnomes will go back to repairing after they've spent a little time attacking player characters. They aren't distracted for long.
Our group's solution was to kill the first three repair gnomes, then focus DPS on the boss while interrupting the heals from new repair gnomes.
The boss gets a visible healing "debuff" for each gnome on him, so it's easy to see when he's being repaired and you need to shake a gnome off of him.
Hunter explosive trap works well for disrupting the healers, as it's a non-channeled AoE DoT.

This boss is an absolute joke to be honest for the group we had.

Warrior (me)
Simply put, we had the rogue put wound poisons on the boss and the shaman both put the fire elemental out. everybody nuked the boss and the elementals did their thing and at the same time killed the adds. Boss went down super fast.
The adds come out one by one, so it's very easy to take care of them.
This boss is alot easier than the first to be honest.

This boss can be a real chore on heroic, because if you can't get the adds off him and down them they will heal right through your dps. There are a few tricks that you can use that work very well for mages and locks.
Mages: If you throw off Arcane Explosions around the boss, you can pick the adds off healing the boss as well as continuing to contribute to dps on the boss. This is very effective for keeping them from healing the boss.
Warlock (Affliction): Unstable Affliction is amazingly useful in this fight. The adds will dispel it from themselves, effectively killing each other, so keep throwing it out.
If you find him too hard to beat with your group make up, have the tank grab him and pull him away to the right. Have a mage or rogue run to the control panel and use it to open the door to the last boss. Once that is done everyone jump off the bridge to the right. The boss will freeze on the bridge and then reset. You can swim back to the first boss area and then proceed to the final boss.

For all the strats that say pull him to the side and use the control panel, have fun while it lasts, as in the new patch that will no longer be possible.
Heroic Coilfang Resevoir- Steamvaults
Mekgineer Steamrigger's Main Chambers Access Panel is no longer interactable until Mekgineer Steamrigger has been killed.
This dude is a P.I.T.A. on heroic, had a feral tank, feral DPS, holy priest, Hunter and rogue attempt this on heroic, threw everything we had at him including the kitchen sink and a bath tub. Including hunter swapping to his warlock alt, and feral switching to mage. Finally gave up since it was way too late to continue further. Thanks for all the comments about spamming

(geeze somehow I always forget about downranking spells like that to save mana DOH) Oh and didn't realize that the adds dispelled SoC (don't think the lock realized it either) will suggest he use UA instead, So thanks for that as well. Will give it another go tonight implementing the above strategies and maybe all will be rejoicing!

One good way to do this in Heroic is to have a warlock with Unstable Affliction and keep casting it on adds. These adds heal themselves after they dispel themselves; thus the additional damage when dispelled and the silence effect of this spell is maximized. I am wondering whether this boss is designed for this spell.
Another way to make it an easier fight is to reduce the healing: if you have a troll priest, hex him; if you have a weapon warrior, mortal strike him. Though the first one is rare, and second one is even rarer...

My theory is that the Naga, who to the best of my knowledge are technologically challenged commissioned the leper gnomes of Gnomergan to build them the pumps that are slowly emptying Zangermarsh.

This boss is easymode with a protection paladin. Just keep consecrating, and the gnomes won't get a heal off.

The gnomes in this room, do not start the boss fight. so AoE them down, then prepare for the boss fight.
He has adds that heal him. so you need to get them down quickly, also has some AoE saws that do damage, based on how far away you are, the closer you are the better, so group up on him.
Also... when he dies, he screams in a high pitched voice... "Mommy!"

Not 100% sure but after a few tries it seems if the ranged chars stay to the sides they get hit with his AoE blades a lot less.

So I ran Steamvaults with a GREAT group. Druid tank, mage, hunter, myself disc/holy priest, and rogue. We rocked the whole place easily, BUT this guy wiped us EVERYTIME! Maybe it was because we needed an off healer, maybe our DPS needed more...no idea, but no matter what we could only get him to 15% health and we tried about 6 times. In the end we did a suicide mission, tripped the PANEL to open the last boss and skipped him.
TIP: If you're the solo healer LOTS of mana efficiency is imporant, I went through my Shadowfiend, Inner focus, Super mana pot, AND Inevennerate and we still couldn't outlast them! Damn Gnomes, keep them cc'd immediately!
Oh and to the post above me, we cc'd them and they 'sometimes' HEALED anyway. I think this guy needs to be scaled down a bit, I mean we didn't even do it in HEROIC!

ran this whole instance in 34 minutes with druid tank, me, lock, mage and shadow priest. We are not decked out at all. Most of us are in blues.

Seriously, this guy is easy. I've run SV several times thus far with different groups and I have to say that he is quite way to take down. The only real problem here is the adds. They keep him alive MUCH longer than need be. Take them out as fast as you can if at all possible. Luckily, we had a pally tank, 2 locks and a rogue...and my wonderful self main healing the place. Not one death. Next group was not too smart, but we had fun anyway. LOL! My advice? Kill the adds as soon as you can cause they really do get on yah. Make sure you are kinda close so that the saws don't hurt too much and AoE like you mean it. Hehehe!

The hardest part in normal SV is really the big elementals near the front of the instance. The rest is easy if you know the strats.

Heroic: Experienced party did this as follows...
Tank, Paladin, Hunter, Druid, Mage
The paladin tanked the boss and used aoe while doing this to interrupt the heals
The druid healed
The mage and hunter dps'ed the boss
The tank shield bashed, thunderclapped, and most importantly RENDED the adds. The healing of the boss is the single problem here, and the REND warrior move gives a damage over time effect of 21 seconds, interrupting heals every three seconds. The combination of the hunter level 1 volley, paladin aoe (dunno what move), shield bash and thunderclap, stopped the healing extremely efficiently, and the boss went down very fast, second attempt.
The same hunter and tank had tried the same boss in the same instance with a rogue, warlock and paladin healer about 15 times in the previous three hours with the tank tanking the boss, thunderclapping like mad, but it was not distracting enough for the adds who kept the boss at very high health throughout.
Dots on the adds is the key here.

This guy sucks. His adds are much more difficult to deter from healing the boss.
My advice? Skip him. Have someone kite the boss away while someone stays to the left of him and runs in and hits the switch. Reset the boss one way or another and pass.
If you must beat him, out your highest dps on the boss with tank. Other 2 dps must mow through the adds. They heal faster, have a LOT more HP and as said, are tough to keep off the boss.
Fire mage (me), resto druid, prot warrior, fire mage and warlock. All with 1/2 epics or more. I was doing this with one of the major raiding guilds on my server, so they knew their $%^& backwards and forwards and we still had trouble nuking adds and dpsing enough to offset healing that was getting through.

ya right this guy is easy.... just have your mage/hunter/lock take the adds from him and everyone else full on dps ing him without his healers hes really easy

Got a Lock? You can feel free to drop all the fears you want. The little gnomes have almost no life, so someone can just kill them.

p.s. Shammy brought out the fire elemental .. both warriors feared, thunderclapped, and the prot warr target danced once of twice to stun or cleave the gnomes to keep them from healing. BTW... Sunder the living crap out of this guy cuz he does have a fairly good amount of armor.

virtually impossible in heroic unless with a very very very good group.
adds spawn way faster, and have about 25k hp (not 5k as in normal)
we tried dpsing the adds and once they were dead killing the boss, which didnt work at all and our healer was out of mana quickly. by the time we'd finished killing most of the adds and dps'd the boss for 20 seconds, 5 more had spawned. not to mention the boss also enrages after 5 minutes wiping the group instantly.
i just wouldnt bother, it's honestly not worth it

we had a holy/disc priest, enahnce shammy (me), feral druid, arms warr and hunter
we owned this guy, fire elemental + volley + holy nova (our healer priest like to deal damage he was always smiting and stuff) the adds r nothing, heroism also
the toughest boss here in SV is thespia, we wiped on her 4 times bc the warr and druid tank would never notice the storm and theyd die
no deaths except on her

we did him on regular SV first try with:
70 enhancement shaman(me)-used heroism, and fire elemental totem, really useful :)
70 warrior tank
70 holy pala healer
70 mage
70 lock
if you can, try to get a mage or an AOE class on adds, they are easy, and dont hit hard. Unfortunalty, i was on adds, but we did it first try, when there wasn't any adds, i was DPSing the boss down. easy fight if you have a pala healer, could work with priest/druid also. Shamans would be nice with their chain heal, but idk.
- USE HEROISM AND FIRE ELEMENTAL TOTEM! if you do, you dont have to be on adds at all

We made a heroic steamvault run yesterday..
This boss seemed to be working the same way he does in normal mode BUT after a few seconds of the fight, we noticed, that we had done about ~8% dmg to him and were at 50% mana. The reason is, that the spawns have about ~12k HP and hit for 1-2k! So you do nothing than killing the spawns... we dicided to activate the console in the fight and make him evade.. worked well!
setup was: resto shaman, frostmage, shadowpriest, holy priest, deftank
all of us are very well equiped, but we really didn't see any space to make dmg to the boss while fearing or killing the spawns.

Did it in heroic with this tactic: me tanking keeping all them aggroed on me with demoralizing/clap, and interrupting their spell with magma totem rank1.
Party composition: warrior protection, shaman elem, priest holy, hunter markmanship, warlock demonology.

He is really easy on heroic as long as you got a paladin as healer and a mage in your grp - just make the mage do some week aoe on the adds to interupt the heal, and then let them go for the paladin. Kill the adds after the fight. Very, very simple

You definately need a paladin for this fight on heroic. The little gnomes hit hard and have about 10k HP. Also, if yer casters and stuff stand on or right near the boss, they won't get hit by the saw blades, or it will do minimal damage. If you stand at max range it does over 2k damage. Also, after 5 mins of fighting him on heroic mode, he goes into an enrage and wipes the party. Very very evil, but doable. Pally = concecration goodness. We had him tank and 2 druids dps/heal and me, a priest, heal, while a lock was dpsing the boss constantly.

killed him with 2 feral druids lvl 68, 70 mage, 68 priest healing and myself 68 resto shaman healing.
He does aoe damage, physical. sends out nets, the aoe damage seems to maybe be avoided by standing close. Dont know for sure since only did him once(no whipes ^^)
Dropped a blue gun, level req 68, 244 max damage, 64.7dps, 2.90 speed, 13 stam and 14 critical strike rating

Pretty simple fight, done this with me(druid) 2 rogues, 1 warrior and 1 mage
kill the gnomes, they heal the robot. he does shoot some things to the ranged people, if you wanna stay close, it's less damage
also nets people, but if ya'll bunched up, goes easy ^^
spank and tank, kill the adds =)

this guys as hard as hell on heroic, we went oom at 75%, then we distracted him while we opened the door to the last boss, and kicked the last bosses ass.
