Abilities Earned While Leveling from 50 to 60 in Shadowlands
The Level Squish necessitated a reassigning of the Levels at which each Ability is learned. Inevitably some of those fell beyond the maximum Level for Battle for Azeroth. These are the Abilities that Priests will gain access to as they level through Shadowlands.
Shadowlands Abilities Earned Between 50 and 60

- level 52 - Soothes the target, reducing the range at which it will attack you by 10 yards. Only affects Humanoid and Dragonkin targets. Does not cause threat. Lasts 20 sec.

Blizzard's Priest Patch Notes
Blizzard has released Patch Notes including the class changes for Shadowlands. The following is the class change summary for Priests.
Discipline
Power Word: Shield is no longer increased by 10% in PvP combat.
Holy
Power Word: Shield is no longer increased by 10% in PvP combat.
Delivered from Evil no longer reduces Leap of Faith’s cooldown by 45 seconds. Instead, it increases the healing of your next spell on the target by 100%.
Miracle Worker now also reduces the cooldown of Holy Word: Serenity by 25%.
Shadow
Dark Thoughts duration has been increased to 10 seconds (was 6 seconds).
Mind Flay damage has been reduced by 15%.
Mind Sear damage has been reduced by 15%.
Devouring Plague’s initial damage has been reduced by 15% and its periodic damage has been reduced by 12%.
Searing Nightmare Insanity cost has been reduced to 30 (was 35).
Auspicious Spirits now generates 2 Insanity (was 1) and its damage increase to Shadowy Apparitions has been reduced to 15% (was 30%).
Shadow Crash no longer has 3 charges and no longer applies a Shadow Crash damage vulnerability debuff on targets hit. Shadow Crash now deals 100% more damage and is on a 30 second cooldown (was 45 seconds).
Void Torrent’s duration reduced to 3 seconds (was 4 seconds) and damage increased by 20%. Void Torrent now generates 60 Insanity over its duration (was 30), no longer refreshes your damage over time effects, and its cooldown has decreased to 30 seconds (was 45 seconds).
Classes: Priest
General
Fade now has an additional effect – Fade now reduces the range at which enemies will attack you.
All Priests can now use the following abilities:
Shadow Word: Pain – A word of darkness that causes Shadow damage instantly, and an additional Shadow damage over 12 seconds. Shadow Priests generate 4 Insanity.
Shadow Word: Death – A word of dark binding that inflicts Shadow damage to the target. If the target is not killed by Shadow Word: Death, the caster takes damage equal to the damage inflicted upon the target. Damage increased by 175% to targets below 20% health.
PvP Talent changes:
New PvP Talent: Thoughtsteal – Peer into the mind of an enemy, attempting to steal a known spell. If stolen, the victim cannot cast that spell for 20 seconds. Can only be used on Humanoids with mana. If you’re unable to find a spell to steal, the cooldown of Thoughtsteal is reset.
Discipline
New Ability: Mind Sear – Corrosive shadow energy radiates from the target, dealing Shadow damage over 4.5 seconds to all enemies within 10 yards of the target.
New Ability: Mind Blast – Blasts the target's mind for Shadow damage and has an additional effect: Mind Blast prevents some of the next damage dealt by the enemy.
Rapture now immediately casts Power Word: Shield on your friendly target when used, if no ally is targeted Power Word: Shield will be cast on yourself and its duration has been reduced to 8 seconds (from 10 seconds).
Shadow Covenant has been redesigned – Make a shadowy pact, healing the target and 4 other injured allies within 30 yards. For 9 seconds, your Shadow spells deal 25% increased damage and healing, but you cannot cast Holy spells. 30 second cooldown, costs 5% base mana.
Holy Nova now deals reduced damage if there are more than 5 targets.
The following Talents have been adjusted:
New Talent: Spirit Shell (replaces Luminous Barrier): For 10 seconds, Penance, Power Word: Radiance, and Atonement create absorb shields instead of healing. Replaces Rapture when talented. Spirit Shell does not have a global cooldown.
Schism now increases your spell damage to the target by 25% (was 40%).
Holy
Circle of Healing is no longer a Talent and learned by all Holy Priests at level 39.
Holy Fire's instant damage has been increased by 300%, but now has a 1.5 second cast time.
Holy Nova now deals reduced damage if there are more than 5 targets.
The following Talents have been adjusted:
New Talent: Renewed Faith (replaces Enduring Renewal) – Your healing is increased by 10% on targets with your Renew.
New Talent: Prayer Circle (replaces Circle of Healing) – Using Circle of Healing reduces the cast time of your Prayer of Healing by 25% for 8 seconds.
Afterlife now also increases the range of your healing spells while in Spirit of Redemption by 30%.
Apotheosis now also resets the cooldowns of your Holy Words when activated.
PvP Talent changes:
New PvP Talent: Cardinal Mending – Prayer of Mending now heals the target for 10% of their maximum health, ignoring any healing reduction effects.
New PvP Talent: Divine Ascension – You ascend into the air out of harm’s way. While floating, you are only able to cast Holy spells.
Divine Attendant has been removed.
Shadow
New Mastery: Shadow Weaving – Your damage is increased by 4% for each of Shadow Word: Pain, Vampiric Touch and Devouring Plague on the target. During Void Form, all targets receive the maximum effect.
New Ability: Devouring Plague – Afflicts the target with a disease that instantly cause Shadow damage plus an additional 4 Shadow damage over 6 seconds. Heals you for 300% of damage dealt.
New Ability: Dark Thoughts (Passive) – For each of your damage over time effects on the target, your Mind Flay and Mind Sear have a 2% chance to instantly add a charge of Mind Blast, causing it to be instantly cast, and allowing it to be cast while channeling Mind Flay or Mind Sear within 6 seconds.
Voidform has been redesigned – Now has a 90 second cooldown and increases damage by 20% for 15 seconds. Voidform no longer reduces the cooldown of Mind Blast, but now refreshes the cooldown of Mind Blast and you gain 2 charges while in Voidform. You no longer gain Haste every 0.5 seconds while in Void Form.
Void Eruption cast time reduced by 40% and no longer requires 90 Insanity to cast.
Shadowy Apparitions has been redesigned – When you use Mind Blast, Devouring Plague or Void Bolt you also create a shadowy version of yourself that floats towards all targets afflicted by your Vampiric Touch dealing Shadow damage. Critical strikes will cause two Apparitions to be created.
Shadow Word: Death no longer generates Insanity.
Mind Blasts Insanity generation is now 8 (was 12).
Vampiric Touch’s Insanity generation is now 5 (was 6).
Void Bolt’s Insanity generation is now 15 (was 20).
Mind Sear Insanity generation is now 6 (was 8).
The following Talents have been adjusted:
New Talent: Death and Madness (replaces Shadowy Insight) – If a target dies within 6 seconds after being struck by your Shadow Word: Death, you gain 73 Insanity over 4 seconds and the cooldown of your Shadow Word: Death is reset.
New Talent: Unfurling Darkness (replaces Shadow Word: Void) – After casting Vampiric Touch on a target, your next Vampiric Touch within 8 seconds is instant cast and deals Shadow damage immediately. This effect cannot occur more than once every 15 seconds.
New Talent: Psychic Link (replaces Shadow Word: Death) – Mind Blast deals 50% of its damage to all targets afflicted by your Vampiric Touch within 40 yards.
New Talent: Searing Nightmare (replaces Dark Void) – Instantly deals Shadow damage to enemies around the target and afflicts them with Shadow Word: Pain. If the enemy is already afflicted by your Shadow Word: Pain, Searing Nightmare's damage is increased by 185%. Only usable while channeling Mind Sear.
New Talent: Damnation (replaces Lingering Insanity) – Instantly afflicts the target with Shadow Word: Pain, Vampiric Touch and Devouring Plague free of cost.
New Talent: Ancient Madness (replaces Dark Ascension) – Voidform increases your critical strike chance by 30% for 15 seconds, reducing by 2% every second.
New Talent: Hungering Void (replaces Legacy of the Void) – Void Bolt causes the target to become vulnerable to the void, increasing damage taken from the Priest for 6 seconds. Void Bolt cast on vulnerable targets will also extend the duration of your Voidform by 1 second, 2 seconds if Void Bolt critically strikes. This effect can only be active on one target at any one time.
Shadow Crash has been redesigned – Hurl a bolt of slow-moving, far-reaching Shadow energy at the destination, dealing Shadow damage to all targets within 8 yards. If Shadow Crash hits a lone target, they suffer 25% increased damage from your next Shadow Crash within 15 seconds. Stacks up to 2 and generates 8 Insanity.
Void Torrent no longer pauses your Insanity while used, but now applies Devouring Plague and refreshes the duration of all of your Shadow damage over time effects while channeling.
Surrender to Madness no longer instantly generates 100 Insanity when used and has a 1.5 minute cooldown (was 3 minutes). Additionally, Surrender to Madness now has a heartbeat sound effect that speeds up as you reach the end of the spells' duration.
PvP Talent changes:
New PvP Talent: Lasting Plague – Increases the duration of your Devouring Plague by 6 seconds.
Driven to Madness has been redesigned – Now reduces the cooldown of your Void Eruption by 3 seconds when you take damage.
Shadow Mania has been removed.

: This enables Discipline Priests to heal their allies by blessing them with Power Word: Barrier, and healing them again if they’re still under the barrier when it expires.
Shadow Covenant (Talent)
: Rework. This instantly heals a chosen hero and four other injured allies within a small area and moderately increases the damage the Priest deals for a short period of time, during which they cannot cast any Holy spells.

A test spell for

showed up in some data mining. We wanted to clarify that currently Unholy Nova is not being changed. We’ve heard feedback that being forced into melee range to use this spell is restrictive, particularly when using abilities like

which have a minimum range. This is something we’re looking to address, however this prototype version that was data mined is still in development and not something we are looking for feedback on at this time.

Additionally, this week we want to highlight a change we’ve done to the Shadow Priest mastery.
In this change we’ve redesigned the mastery to be something more inline with the new changes, encouraging the Priest to stack their damage over time effects on targets for maximum effect. For each of your damage over time effects on the target, your damage is increased.
A twist: while in Void Form you gain full benefit of this mastery by dealing full damage on all targets, assuming they have all of your DoTs, whether they’re present on the target or not. We’ve decided to call this new mastery “Shadow Weaving,” invoking the name and spirit of an a legacy Shadow Priest talent.
Your damage is increased by x% for each of Shadow Word: Pain, Vampiric Touch and Devouring Plague on the target. During Void Form, all targets receive the maximum effect.

In the last two builds of the Shadowlands Beta, we've made further changes to Shadow to address feedback, and to further refine the core spec changes in

. Most of these changes are adjustments to talents and spells to bring them more in line, such as
, which we feel has been too powerful in too many situations.
Damage and Insanity Tuning
In the previous build, you may have noticed that we changed the damage values of various spells on the Shadow Priest. The goal here is to rebalance the spells among each other. For example, how much more damage should
deal than Shadow: Word Pain? Players should now see a more healthy spread of how much damage each of their spells contributes.
Specifically tuning the

in contrast to the other DPS specs will come in a future build.
Additionally, we've modified the Insanity values that are generated from many different spells. We feel that Insanity generation is a bit high, but we're mindful of players positive feelings of the cadence of the rotation.
We want the
talent to be available for

s who are fond of the current live

gameplay, and also a viable choice depending on the situation. We recognize that the talent had issues with the revamp design of

, and made some changes. It now has the ramping haste mechanic players are familiar with. We've also added an interact with

is currently healing for too much, and we’re hotfixing the Beta to put it back to its former tuning of healing the Priest for 50% of the damage done. The Beta hotfix will also restore Vampiric Touch to heal the Priest for 50% of its damage done.

is currently extending the duration of Devouring Plague at a greater duration than intended. We’re working on a Beta hotfix to change the design of
to refresh the duration of Devouring Plague on the target of Void Form, rather than extending the duration of the DoT on all nearby targets.

Greetings Priests! In the latest build we have made some significant changes to Fae Blessings. We heard feedback that it wasn’t quite hitting the mark for a covenant ability, and we agree. In reworking this ability, we want to address Power Word: Shield, add a personal benefit to the spell, and make the spell more usable for Shadow Priests, while still keeping its identity as a powerful group support spell.
The ability is now named “Fae Guardians,” to better represent the new design, and to differentiate it from Blessing of the Seasons.
Fae Guardians (1.5 minute cooldown) – Call forth three faerie guardians to attend your targets for 20 seconds.
Wrathful Faerie: Your direct attacks against the target restore 1% Mana or 6 Insanity. Follows your Shadow Word: Pain.
Guardian Faerie: Reduces damage taken by 10%. Follows your Power Word: Shield.
Benevolent Faerie: Increases the cooldown recovery rate of a major ability by 100%. Follows your Shadow Mend / Flash Heal.
Rather than using up charges, you can now manage 3 persistent Faerie buffs. Each Faerie can only exist on 1 target at a time. When you cast Fae Guardians, the Guardian and Benevolent Faerie will be summoned immediately on yourself. You can then cast Power Word: Shield to move the Guardian Faerie to your desired target, Shadow Mend to move the Benevolent Faerie, and Shadow Word: Pain to apply the Wrathful Faerie. Note that the Wrathful Faerie only restores mana or Insanity for the Priest, not their allies.
Our goal is to make the ability more flexible, require less maintenance, and provide fun gameplay for all three Priest specializations.

Greetings,
We’ve heard your feedback on Shadow Priests and spent some time performing more extensive changes to the spec – including changes to baseline skills and talents. Most importantly, we’ve taken a deeper look at Void Form.

Along with Insanity, Void Form was introduced in Legion as a central component of a Shadow Priest redesign that explored the fantasy of tapping into dark, mind-twisting void magic for temporary power. From a gameplay standpoint, this was expressed as building up Insanity, entering Void Form, then battling against decaying Insanity to prolong your time in this powerful state.
This design has not been a clear winner for several players as we often receive feedback that people do not enjoy fighting the resource decay in order to inflict reasonable damage. On the other hand, we also hear from people who enjoy Void Form but feel it is not transformative enough. Over time, the design has proved problematic and Void Form uptime has dominated the spec, going far beyond our original intention. Now, any talents, items, legendaries, etc. that do not feed into Void Form are considered undesirable.
We want time in Void Form to feel more impactful and as a result, we are limiting the time you can undergo the transformation by applying a cooldown. By default, the ability will no longer have the decaying resource mechanic, but that gameplay will be more appropriately placed in the redesigned talent, Legacy of the Void, so that players can have the option to choose the “legacy” feel of Void Form.

Feedback suggested the duration of Devouring Plague was too long. While we reduced the duration from its historic 21 second duration to 12 seconds, we agree this still feels too long so we’re reducing it further to 6 seconds. We’ve also fixed bugs that prevented Devouring Plague from scaling with Haste or Critical Strike and we’ve also increased its damage.
General gameplay changes
We’re introducing a new passive called Dark Thoughts that adds a baseline proc in the rotation which we feel spices up the general rotation. We want damage over time effects to matter to Shadow Priests, so we’ve made it so Dark Thoughts and other mechanics interact with that core theme.
Talents
We’ve gone through a number of talents and made adjustments in an effort to make choices a bit more competitive in a variety of situations. Unfurling Darkness and Psychic Link support Shadow Priests multi-dotting strength, while Damnation and Surrender to Madness provide tools for Shadow Priests to quickly burst targets down when the encounter demands it.
Lastly, we want to spotlight the new talent, Searing Nightmare. Searing Nightmare can assist Shadow Priests in situations like Mythic+ where higher sustained AOE could be useful.

In this next build of the Shadowlands Alpha, we have updates to Shadow Priests that are intended to address some common concerns about the spec.
Returning Ability: Devouring Plague
We've seen a lot of feedback that

can be challenging to utilize to its full potential in some combat situations, such as in

dungeons on non-boss encounters, or for leveling and doing outdoor content. We tend to agree that

can feel unrewarding in situations where it becomes difficult to maintain efficient insanity generation. Rather than heavily re-designing

, we're introducing a new tool for these combat situations with the return of

.
Along with Void Eruption, Devouring Plague will be the only other spell that costs Insanity. Our intent with

is for it to be used on enemies who die quickly, such as common creatures while leveling, or on simple trash pulls, while

is more powerful on longer combat encounters.

Although we've seen a lot of excitement around this iconic spell making a return, we have concerns that it wasn't very clear what its role will be in the modern Shadow Priest kit.

has always been intended to be an “execute” ability, so it must be something that is mostly used in the outdoor/leveling content. In the past,

found itself in

come on guys disc really need some m+ talent no another raid talent and these mana cost will hurt too but i guess it is alright if we are getting some baseline spells like mind blast shadow word death flash heal etc...

I WISH we would go back to mana for Shadow priests and have Insanity go to an additional power slot area similar to Holy Power for Paladins or even better similar to Soul Shards for Warlocks. This Void focus has gone just a bit out of hand.
We're suppose to be dipping into both sides and finding our balance, not rushing into Insanity 24/7 to get a stat boost to attempt to keep up with other classes.

I know I might get some hate because of this, but I like void form - with that said I'm still upset by some of the ''changes''.
What I don't understand is void torrent still being a talent, just make it a baseline, it was literally one of the core spells in Legion that made being in void form actually enjoyable. Also I doubt we wanted this version of SW:D, it's basically another dot, generating almost no sanity what-so-ever, and it also hits like a wet noodle + the talent that comes with it is in the same row with as spirits, which makes it hard to pick. I like the effort on StM, but I just can't see it ever be a pickable talent again.
I am aware it's just an alpha, and it will be almost certainly changed, but I wanted to give my opinion on it, because I really care about spriests lol

Bring back Clarity of Power from WoD, or a similar talent idea. I loved the idea of a dot-less shadow caster. Regardless, Shadow spec really needs another rework, like it or not. You might say that it's a "shadow" of it's former self.
(I secretly wish they would either give all the classes a new spec, and for Priest's we could get a Holy damage caster DPS. OR remove Shadow spec from Priest and give them the Holy magic damage caster DPS, then make a Void related Cloth class! Or even a Necromancer, and give them Shadow spec. Hey, I can dream.)

No smart heal for prayer of healing but bigger mp cost.

NEW Surrender to Madness You instantly gain 100 Insanity and cast Void Eruption on the target.
For the next 25 sec, your Insanity-generating abilities generate 100% more Insanity and you can cast while moving.
If the target does not die within 25 sec of using Surrender to Madness, you die.

So, I read right, IF you in SL you cast StM on a
WEAK TARGET
(say, you target the boss's add instead of the boss itself, as it would last longer), and KILL it, even if there are other mobs around to deal with, you WOULDN'T DIE? Come on Blizz, StM needs more explanation on the tooltip. If that's what would happen, then StM would become a greater talent then.
But as with the SW:Death, the target CAN HAVE IMUNITIES up. Say you cast SW:D on a Bubbled pally at 1% health, you fail to kill him, and instead take the damage yourself.
What are them people smoking? Every Expansion they screw otherwise specs/classes with great works, nerf what don't need to be nerf, buff (wrongly) other stuff... If they wanted to bring back old stuff why not OLG GOOD STUFF?
As others have stated here, WoD SP was great. Druid's had Symbiosis if I'm not mistaken too... They keep doing rework after rework after rework over the classes, since WoD, also, no new talent row, which could fill in gaps that could exist, instead of messing with stuff that worked greatly.

Shadow is so poorly designed I feel really bad... It was the SAME CASE before BfA launch - wait till 9.0 they said... We waited, for what?
And now something constructive:
1. Remove Voidform and Insanity mechanic completely. Simpy because you cannot balance it. It will either be OP or UP - UP is safer so here goes shadow...
2. Bring back Shaodow Orbs. Make it work with Dark Ascension - so at 3 Orbs we could use Dark Ascension (not a talent anymore!), which would have fixed time duration, void bolt usable for this period.
This would make Shadow easier to balance and more enjoyable.
Also, just abandon Surrender to Madness... It is a bad idea design and balance wise. Might sound good for role-play, but it is just bad, feels bad.

Void Form IS the issue, though. I do NOT like DP being a cast or costing Insanity for that matter. Players are going to want to use this ability, but if you don't make it fit into the flow of shadow then it becomes a big "?" Don't you think it will also make the spec even more confusing to new Shadow players where the core "goal" and main mechanic of Shadow is to get into and stay in Void Form for more damage, you are now giving us another ability that costs insanity? Is the problem with this not obvious?
As for SW:D. I'm really curious, what was wrong with the Legion iteration of this ability? Only usable on targets below 20% and had 2 charges on a fairly short CD 8s I think? Like really, why was this ever even messed with? It worked perfectly and added an interesting gameplay change during execute. You literally said in this post and I quote "Shadow Word: Death has always been intended to be an “execute” ability." Then why even give it the option of being used on targets above execute range? It was perfect in Legion, seriously.

The last tier talent of disc priest sucks. Only the one that increase duration of atonements is fine. Only in raids. The one that makes us lose power world barrier is making us weaker! Why? Why should be a talent that makes you weaker? And the other one is really hard to get benefit. Idk who thought it would be a cool idea. Just bring back that 3% damage taken reduction. I literally can go to arena and dungeon without choosing last tier talent and im not gonna lose any adavantage. They just dont make you powerful they r not fun. They r just there. Those 2 talents are useless in every aspect of game. Get some one there who plays the spec in all the content ( pvp m+ raid) to make useful talents. To make talents that makes up for countless problems of disc. (mana and low healing output in pvp - spot healing struggles- no damage no heal- tanks just die in m+ while we spam shadow mend when pain sup is on cd)
You know its funny with all the things that is wrong with the spec and we r known as the hybrid other healers easily out damage us in m+. Making a spec omega powrful in raid and destroying it in ever other aspect of the game is not the way to do it.

priest is always being ignored. they are so trash and boring. All blizzard cares about is druids. monks( in raid also) and priests in m+ are just trash. it seems blizzard wants them to be so. and druids are gonna rule over pvp and m+ like the whole 2 previous expansion. also pvp druid has been best ever since there was a druid. aside from 8.3 alone. which they r still god tier in 2v2.
disc last tier talent is so garbage outside of raid u can literally not choose anyone and you be all ok. one of them makes you even worse! imagine a talent that makes you less powerful ! the new one is just useless and boring and sooo conditional . it literally says " stay on top of each others @$# to barrier and %^$*ing stay there until barrier is over so you could get less than 2 worth of shadowmend" goodjob blizzard. thats so exciting and funny to play around. at least we got to have a benefit out of that 3% damage taken reduction. just move divine star to last talent row and reduce its mana cost . this is such a cool talent and fun to play around do not ignore it.( imagine the dark divine star in new shadow covenant duration that's dope!). this is the best lazy option u got. and completely remove that "wanna make you weaker" talent . talking about shadow covenant make it baseline for disc solves alot of disc's problems and move its increased damage done component to the talent. more flavor. more shadow healing with consequence. solace nerfed to hell . that was a really nice spell i loved to use it. with the nerf they deleted the talent without deleting it. FeelsBadMan. divine star compensate the change tho :((.
shadow priest was so exciting in legion. mass hysteria-lingering haste-void torrent base line. that would make it to a point where actually spec worth playing and put time in the first place. shadow priest has few button in its tools and rotation a void torrent baseline bring flavor to spec. new DV is cool make it to not be castable in void form. and the free DV proc from conduit is way too rng. spectral disguise bring it back for shadow priest. brings more flavor to it. you could also make shadow priest sends weaves of void eruption to people with DOT when they have been in void form for certain amount of time. or consumed certain amount of insanity. some cool eruption effect and rewards to those who stay void form long enough. this could be also unreachable unless u have surrender to madness. more risk more reward.( imagines rapid eruptions after 60 stack of void once few seconds and a bitter sweet smile sits on his lips knowing never happens)
holy is the most boring spec of the game. back in mop i thought that its the coolest spec of them game and when chakrams had 5 sec cd back then, for the first time i quit disc and never stopped playing holy .it was amazing and so fun i just cant describe it. and now if i cast a holy word always seems like a torture. as i have to cast and spend tremendous amount of spells and mana to get them back. and as for holy in pvp just spam greater heal. what a nice game. get 2 dest warlock as well you r whole group wouldn't need to press more than 6-8 type of spells. bring some flavor back to this spec please. pay some attention to this spec it has been AIDS from legion. i miss the old fun holy so much sometime i just go to a private mop server only to play holy priest.

Im pretty sure Holy priests dont have an ability called Holy prism - that one belongs to paladins. I wouldnt mind that for holy priests tho :D Just thought id point it out so you can change the post.

i have been giving a lot of feedback for priest. the 3% damage taken reduction is a nice comeback it is definitel better than than luminous barrier or light caress but you know its a flat 3% damage taken reduction.
spirit shell is awesome but replacing it with rapture? why? increase its cooldown but let it be its own spell instead of replacing it with another ability. you just replaced 1 useless talent with another cool useless talent. why do you do this to disc? disc is already suffering from the times when there is no target to damage. and yet you another ability that replace the only ability usable while no enemy is around? GODDDDDDDD. who came up with this idea of replaceing?
we are stuck with a 3% flat damage taken reduction for another expansion (which is way better than lights caress).
you know what you could do?
add plea into last talent row. it heals and applies a "plea atonement" so 1 target have 2x atonement on him. solves spot healing problem of disc priest specially we lose vitality conduit and spirit of preservation.
i would be more happy to have this plea instead of flat 3% damage taken reduction. and even happier if spirit shell was its own spell instead of hijacking the only spell we can use while there no enemy around.

Very disappointing that they did not change the insanity/void form mechanics. When I say change I mean ABANDON. I loved SPriest back in BC but every expansion since them has taken more and more enjoyment out of being an SPriest. Sigh.
