You've Seen CES Coverage—Now See the OTHER Convention Footage
So ZAM has been posting coverage of the
CES
convention this yeah, but those who have attended (and some who haven't) know that on that particular weekend in Las Vegas, there are
two
conventions—CES, and the
Adult Entertainment Expo
, or
AEE
. So basically the whole weekend is a celebration of the two things that 18-34 year old males like best.
So of course,
Mike B aka Fony

BFF Report Episode 15: Mass Effect 2!
I know, another off-topic post—but I can't be the only person who's incredibly excited about
Mass Effect 2

Mass Effect 2 is an upcoming RPG from
BioWare
, makers of Knights of the Old Republic (and the upcoming MMO, The Old Republic), as well as Dragon Age: Origins (the last game I pulled an all nighter on).
So I know it's not WoW, but no self-respecting RPG fan would miss our friend Fony taking us through a sneak peek!

Star Trek Online Beta Keys for Premium Members
Just thought I'd take a moment to point out: the open beta for
Star Trek Online
has begun recently, but beta keys are hard to come by—unless, of course, you're a
Premium member
here at Wowhead!
Here's How You Do It
Start by becoming a Premium user: click
here
and then follow the process.
Your Premium status is stored at
ZAM.com
. When you
sign up
for Premium, Wowhead checks to see if you already have an account at ZAM, or at
Allakhazam
, by cross-checking the email addresses. If you have a ZAM account already, it signs that account up for Premium and links it to your Wowhead account. If you don't, it silently creates a ZAM account (something like Malgayne|WH) and links THAT to your Wowhead account. Obviously we'll be streamlining this in the future. :P
In order to claim your Star Trek Online beta key, you need to log in to your ZAM account at
www.zam.com

So I have difficulty imagining you haven't noticed, but for those of you who haven't: the blog has been a little slow lately! I'm embarrassed to let the guys publish a WWR this week, because the blog section of the listing will show...exactly

Now I can of course sit here and make a lot of excuses (I've been busy! Between moving and Blizzcon, and a death in the family, this is the first week since June that I've slept 4 nights in the same bed!)...but it's not excuses you want, it's blogs!
I have some editorial stuff coming next week that I'm pretty excited about, and that I should have some time to put my thoughts on paper now that I'm settle into the new place. But first...a
