What Do Blizzard's Recent Changes Mean for the Future of WoW Classic?
Blizzard recently published a series of Blue Posts detailing the reasoning behind the recent proc effect change in Classic WoW coming with Patch 1.13.6, using peculiar language such as "err on the side of fun", "we know that perfect authenticity is ultimately impossible", and "keep Classic fun, in the “spirit” of the original game". In addition to other incoming changes, Blizzard seems to be fixing and adjusting various issues across Classic that doesn't necessarily apply directly to Phase 6 or Naxxramas in general... could these changes be a clue to the future of Classic WoW?

Race to Ring the Gong - Recapping the NA Release of Classic Ahn'Qiraj

Hotfix Now Live for Layer-hopping
A Hotfix just went live which applies a cooldown to Players after changing a Layer, preventing them from going to a new layer afterward. Many Players have been frustrated about "Layer Abuse", allowing for Players to find new Mining or Herbalism nodes, gathering mass amounts of high level materials. In a Blue Post from 2 days Ago, WoW Developer Pazorax explained that Blizzard is watching the situation closely and that the accusations of abuse were exaggerated. It seems that Blizzard has now implemented a Hotfix solution to the Layer-hopping issue.

In a recent tweet from WarcraftDevs and a Blue Post from Blizzard, Community Manager Kaivax clarified that there has been in a bug in Classic WoW, applying too much experience to parties of 6 or more players. This Bug seems to have only been from Classic WoW, not necessarily something from Vanilla.
