He works for Arthas Menethil the ruler of the scourge.
he is a slave to the Lich King.
we had problem killing the beast... he owned us for a while. i am looking forward to kill that beast again.

Sometimes the quest does not properly cause Stitches to spawn.
Stitches is neutral (hostile only when attacked) as he runs to the road, then he becomes hostile and walks toward Darkshire.
I've found that there's almost always some high-level player who intercepts Stitches along the road and kills him, or some low-level player who continues to agro Stitches and run away, effectivly preventing Stitches from progressing along the road.
It's interesting to watch the chain of events unfold as Stitches smashes through the Night Watch positions, but it's very rare that he will reach Darkshire due to player intervention.

This guy is insanely hard. I was walking through Darkshire after getting off my Gryphon ride from Stormwind, when a guy in the middle of the town started screaming. A legion of about 4-6 lvl 20 NPCs went running down the road. I followed them, and, sure enough, here came Stitches lumbering down the road.
He charged the NPCs, and slowly killed them all off. He took out a Dwarf Hunter that was trying to get around him. A level 36 Warrior and a 37 Druid came running up, starting Melee'ing him, while I stood back and shot him with my gun. Soon a 20-ish Hunter came up, sent her pet after him, and then she started shooting at him. We eventually took him down, and that was the end of Stitches. It took us a good 3-5 minutes to kill him.
Mind you I'm a lvl 21 Rogue. :)
I didn't want to Melee him for fear of being killed.

I remember getting all excited when the town crier began shouting about an incoming enemy. However, since Stitches is walking down the road it can take him forever to get all the way to Darkshire from where he reaches the road.
As stated before, it would be interesting to see what happens if no players jump into fight him.

This is my experience - if stitches is already spawned, don't finish the quest line for the bride of the embalmer (if you want stitches to spawn) because if he's already up, then he won't respawn properly.

Cause he's so slow speed,so it's so easy as a hunter to take his half heath by kite him from where he spawns and all the way to the town, then let the npc do the rest.
it's pretty a long way but it's fun though!!

Stitche's used to be one of the highlights of questing in Duskwood on the first few weeks of the release of WoW. He would be literally unstoppable because at that time there were only a handful of people above level 50.
Stitch's would basically walk down the pathway to Darkshire untouched, decimating the Night Watch in his way and when he reached Darkshire, there would be a large bunch of WoW players ready to die fighting him and protect Darkshire. Of course they would be overcome and Stitches would attack everything there (I even remember one time he was inside the Inn killing stuff). By the way this was before guards mass spawned once NPC's were attacked in towns, so he basically was free to kill anything.
It was such a good feeling knowing an abomination of the world was heading towards you, knowing he would be there in just a few moments and you were the last line to protect your town along with a few other brave adventurers.
Now you would be lucky if he even got the the town before getting 2 hit by a level 70 or even if he does reach the town, get beat down in a few seconds by a level 65 guard. It is a shame!

some of the BS coming from some of you "hero's" mouth is staggering to say the least. yesterday night i was helping defending darkshire from a mini horde raid. when that died down i decided to ride on my mount to STV, on the road exactly where it forks to STV i saw stitches.
Now im a level 54 Mage specced ( at the time with 18 Arcane and 27 fire). I had heard rumours of this guy being a toughie for a 35 elite but i thought "hell im lvl 54 it'll be easy, lets see what he drops"
I back up get max distance on my fireball and start nuking. i checked his health after my first fireball...."damn" i thought, i hit him for like 600 but he only lost like 5-6% of his HP. I carried on nuking with fireballs, fire blast, arcane missiles and got him down to about 35%. but i was alrdy nearly dead so i a drank a major healing potion, slapped on a mana shield and started evocation.
i blinked away and then threw a rank 1 frostbolt into him to slow him down and ran even further back and started to nuke again. but he got close and was hitting me for 200-300 a pop. i was checking our health and i thought he woul d outlast me but my final fireball managed to crit for 900 and i just made it out alive with <100 HP remaining.
When he died the andrenaline pumping thru my body was crazy! I looted him but the &%!$ only gave his femur and some silk cloth lol.
was an epic battle!

And yes, from my rather vast experience finding this guy, Stitches spawns during the translation of the letter. When I ran the quest with my second character, I did each step of the quest (from abercrombie's note onward) on 15 minute intervals, with a run back up the road to see if he spawned. He spawned right after the translation.
When I'm looking to try and drag him to Stormwind, I find people who are on the quest (by watching who visits Abercrombie's shack) and then ask them to whisper me right before they translate the letter.
They whisper me, Poof, Stitches pops out, I catch aggro using a frostbolt, and the race is on.
Having said that, there were several times that he didn't spawn at all, even though someone ran through that point of the quest. Both times were when the person I was whispering was in a group. The crate started smoking, but then stopped, and no Stitches. So there might be some kind of glitch that happens when multiple people run through that series of 3 quests (talking to mayor/translator/etc) in quick succession.
One unusual thing I should mention for anyone trying to get stitches solo is that I have a very high chance to get disconnected right as the crate opens. I'm not sure if its a bug or something, or related to me standing on top of Abercrombie's shack where Stitches can't target me, or what, But for any Stitches-hunters out there, your best bet is to stand somewhere between the shack and the road, and catch him on his way by. (If you let him get to the road, he'll probably get smacked by some L60, or a mob of treasure-seekers (who don't realize that he never drops anything worthwhile), so best keep him in the woods)
As a sidenote, not only should any crafty L33 mage be able to solo Stitches, but probably also any L33 druid. I've found roots-spam to be just about the same as frostbolt-spam, though less damage. The important part is regening mana faster than you use it. (I've soloed other elites this way with my druid. I'd try it on Stitches, but my druid is on the horde side of a PvP server, so I don't think I'd have much luck)
I also love the whiny lamers who use the logic "I tried to tank/nuke him and died, so therefore nobody can kill him solo". Get a clue. Try a creative strategy some time.

I just lvl'd to 22 (Mage), and picked up the 2nd part of Abercrombie's shopping list when I ran into Stiches at the intersection of Darkshire/Westfall/Stranglethorn. Kiting him does seem to be a definite good stragtegy. My first solo on him came when I am a level 40 druid. (did that on purpose since I would have dire bear with 3.6k armour.)
Stitches is hitting 100-130 on me per hit. After about 5 minutes of fight, which involves moonfire, dire bear and nature's swiftness, he went down while I am at 70% health with about 50% mana.
He is definitely a lot harder than other elites at that level. I fought Morladim (also level 35 elite) about 5 minutes later, he went down before I even need a heal.
BTW I am a resto druid, so feral druid may do better.

I (almost) soloed it as a lv45 feral druid on my previous server.
I just stayed in bear form and healed when necessary.
It took a bit of time (he has lots of HP, and bear form dps isn't exactly stellar) but he went down.
I said "almost" because a priest passing by helped me by doting him near the end of the battle, but I still had a good amount of HP and plenty of mana at that point, so I would have made it nonetheless.

At level 42 I soloed this guy easily... I just spammed entangling roots and kept moving away... I used innervate when I could to keep my mana up; used a couple of pots... but was also firing off moonfires here and there.
When he was at about 15 per cent health a level 25 or so hunter decided to help (was very cool, as I am horde, and it was a nelf), but while it was welcome it was not essential by a long way.
Stiches was just hanging around by the alchemist, or whatver he is called, at the ne of the gy, not that far from the water. I kept praying no allaince would show up - so was delighted that when one did, they lent a hand rather than attacking me.

solo'd him at lvl 28, with my lvl 27 ghostpaw alpha wolf, took about 18 minutes, counted 9 hunters marks, what you do is serpent sting, run till your at 30-32 yards, use dazed shot the moment its cd is up turn shoot twice, serpent sting, run till your at 30-32 yards wait for dazed shot cd and rinse n repeate, add in the occassional multi shot for more damage and distracting shot for when your serpet sting and dazed shots miss, no pots needed me or my pet didn't get hit once
Keep your pet attacking for more dps, but keep growl off and your good to go.

Just killed him and it was very hard.
I was on the road to STV when I saw him. Tried to DPS him in cat form and got killed in 4 hits. Had to switch to casting gear. got killed a couple more times. had to using entangling roots about 1,000 times to keep him from moving and starfire to deal damage. he got close enough to darkshire so that one of the watchers started to attack him. that was the best thing ever. I just healed the NPC and entangled whenever it started coming for me. I was oom like 3/4 the time and used 3 mana pots and a healing pot (yes, thats how long it took). Finally took him down, and the loot sucked. thx blizzard

Well im a 64 paladin now, but back in the day i was strolling along in Duskwood with my 27 rogue buddie, i was like 32 at the time and all the sudden we see the night watchmen gatherd around a tent waiting, so we decided to stick around. Turns out that they were waitng for stitches, which we had no idea who or what it was until we saw the huge hunk of slabbering flash and limbs infront of us. The night watchmen started fighting it and they quickly fell, i did all i could to stop it; healed, Exorscism, Seal of Righteousness and judgemnt. It didnt do as mutch as id hoped so i had to bubble to avoid his damage,My rogue freind Sufferd 2 shots from his axe and started to sprint away i thought he had a great plan so i went with it and turned to run.... didnt take long till we got to the next trio of gaurds witch AGAIN he trampled over, but they did manage to do something our DPS combine had him to about 65%HP so far. Again we had no choice but to let the gaurds die (Bubbles make u drop aggro incase u didnt kno) as we ran. We made almost made it to darkshire when a level 30 huner and a level 21 mage came out of literally nowhere and began to aid (joined our party) us. We fought hard to stop him but we lost my rogue friend the mage, and the hunters pet before we could have him to around 15-20% (Cant remember to well) the hunter grabbed aggro and i changed my tactic, pulled out my Cobalt Crusher and Whamed it on him Countinuously with seal-o-crusaer then with my last mana i LoH myself drank a lesser mana pot, and threw the Turn Un-dead at him, Fleeing the hunter shot him and it wasnt before long he came back on, he threw himself on the hunter and at that exaclt moment i exorsicemend his ass and BAM CRIT! down the giant Ball of moldy-disease-ridden filth went.
Ill never forget that day, a great battle it was and stitches ended up Droping his femer 6S and a Blue item, i forget what it was, i got the femur as a trophie and i, From that day on i will always remember to stay cler of scourge, unless of course you have allies to help you, keep your freinds close on this 1.And thank heavens for My bubbles amd aggro Grabers!

I turned in the translated letter to the mayor and the NPC's started yelling, so I went down to the little camp by the road to STV and waited for Stitches. And I waited... and waited... and waited for an hour. No Stitches.
I wasn't it a group, so the aforementioned glitch of being in a group wouldn't apply. I searched up near Abercrombie, along the road, the camp, Duskwood, etc.
Does anyone know why Stitches didn't spawn for me?

Well, the past couple times I've seen him were a bust...
Once, he was spawned near Abercrombies hut.. And just stood there. Doing nothing. Not moving, not /y-ing DARKSHIRE! I HUNGER! And certainly not slaughtering guards.. So... 30 seconds or so later, he despawns.
Then, later, he was down on the path between the entrance to STV and Raven Hill... Again, just standing there.. I aggroed him and ran towards the 4 Night Watchers who gather to stop him, and he followed, but then ran back to his starting point.
Then tonight, a friend tried to spawn him and he never showed up.
There was some NPCs /y-ing and stuff, but other than that, no sign of him.
I'm still debating writing out a ticket...

Heh. I encountered him for the first time this afternoon while knocking off quests in Duskwood, and was part of a nine-player pile-up that still took about a minute to drop him. I kept meaning to look him up and figure out whether he was a random spawn, a timed event, or what, but forgot, so without knowing I handed in the translated note at about 5am when there's basically nobody on. I instantly recognized what was happening from all the guards running around and yelling at each other, and felt like a complete shmuck, but I figured I'd give it a go. I waited at the Night Watch camp to see how the bots did against him--made the mistake of healing one, caught aggro, and he dropped my 28 priest to half health with one hit, so I feared him and ran like a mofo. My next bright idea was to PW: Fortitude every single Night Watch bot in Darkshire and wait for him to hit town, then run around Renewing them as they got smacked. He got close enough that the guard captain made her speech about taking him out in the town square--then a minute later the crier announces that he's been killed, and a 31 Hunter comes on gen chat claiming to have soloed him (Ido on Uldaman, the bastid :P). I was PISSED, but at least I didn't get pasted. I'm going to have my wife trigger him today to try it again.

A guildie of mine was doing this quest so I went to help him out. I got him to turn in the quest while I waited outside of the cage with my lvl 56 balance druid. Stitches went like a normal elite when I caught up to him (His speed surprised me at first). But I just kept him at a distance and dot'ed him to death with the usual elite combo of Starfire, entangling roots, insect swarm, moonfire and fairie fire. Being 56 made it easy. Last time I tried him at lvl 35 I died after 10 minutes of fighting while a nice pally healed me.

I remember reading on here that perhaps, if all the guards were killed by some ingenius Horde, that Stitches would walk all the way through town and kill the mayor, or whoever it is that it says in the Embalmer's letter. So, being a Stitches fan (aren't we all?), I saw him pass me the other day, and of course I followed him. He got to town and started whomping stuff like usual, but this time he killed all the guards that aggroed to him. Then, instead of moving on, he stood there by the fountain (west side, if anyone cares) in the middle of town. I stayed invisible/out of range and watched, and eventually all the guards repopped, but none of them aggroed to him! And he didn't aggro on the guards either. They all just walked around him and he stood there, till eventually some player walked by and started him up again, then the guards all killed him. Don't know if that's what he's *supposed* to do or if that was a glitch, but I saw it, so I thought I'd share!

Still wasn't easy...i used my talisman of arathor, and health potions and he was still able to get me down to 1/3 health before he died. I wanted to beat him with his own femur the 2nd and 3rd time, but dared not try (it's held in the off-hand anyway). Had to build up some pet aggro to keep him from charging me, which he started to at about 1/2 health, anyway...after that he totally forgot about my pet! Ran circles around him shooting Arcane shots and made sure the Serpent Sting didn't wear off. My ex-King Bangalash pet took care of the rest.
Something weird, though...
At first i stood on top of abercrombies shack and sure enough he spawned behind the cage. But he never moved. I was going to follow him and take the fight to the road, just in case I needed help, but he disappeared instead of walking toward Darkshire...unless he teleports or whatever to somewhere along the road? But no townspeople or guards gave warning like usual...does anyone know why he disappeared instead of walking towards DS?

the first couple of time i tried, i failed :(, i died, but i kept following him, and when he started fighting the one guard who actually puts up a fight, started my assault
then of course kited him, and kited him all the way to darkshire and towards the flight path, where others joined in
after that first learning experience, i was able to kite him with more or less success
stitches fights are always fun, my 26 shamy however did nothing to him :(

I admit, stitches is one Tough SOB, but i dont think he is unbeatable for lowbies. When i got owned by him around level 33 I vowed to come back and get revenge. Anyway, one day i was bored in STV and i remembered my vow (by this time i was level 42) so i came up to duskwood to go give this fatass a piece of his own medicine. the fight took about 10 minutes, but i eventually killed him without any major problems. Funny thing is, the first time i killed him my groupie took the femur by mistake (he was just a lowbie i was helping out to pass the time, he didn't help with the fight) so i had to wait for him to come back so i could kill him again!

It's quite possible to train a mob over long distances, so long as you can keep doing enough damage to it to prevent it losing interest, without actually killing it. If you don't believe me, check out
this video.

Stitches is actually not an Elite mob, he has the HP of a lvl 50 or so reg mob, but trying to fight him is a task in itself, my reccomendations for the lower lvl players, either run or get all of your friends to take him out, easy enough for me to say being a lvl 60 priest. Also, there is no quest to kill Stitches, just to spawn him - Bride of the Embalmer is supposed to but ive done it myself and had a few guildies do it and it didnt spawn him right away. so...

My 1st ever trip to Darkshire will allways be memerable to me.
I swam over from Westfall and started walking down the road towards Darkshire, all of a suden 3 mid 40 elves ran past me with hardley no health i thought WTF next thing i know there running directley towards me is Stitches and 2 Black widdow hatchlings which were on the tail of the elves. So i ran and quickley got caught by stitches and he pounded me into the ground as my adrenaline was pumping from the chase. One of those classic WOW moments : )

Ok now i remember when i was 36 thinking that since i was a level higher that he was just a blob of fat and chains and that i could take him easy. After being hit for 974 i changed my mind. I am now 44 almost 45 hunter and an 250engineer and I think i can solo him, i got a good pet, lots of health potions and some tricks up my sleeve like the gnomish death ray and the gnomish shrink ray. So first ill send my pet scorpion Fred after him, then Il shrink him, and shoot a death ray at him, then try to show him a as* beating the likes of which he has never seen before tonight. ill be sure to post my results asap
also someone mentioned in here that he pops when you finish the "LETTER TO ELLO" quest. One problem, ther eis no letter to ello the name of the quest IS THIS
Quest: Bride of the Embalmer (Elite)
also sorry for the 2nd posting as usual the post got jammed the first time

Not too bad. He's more of an endurance match if you know how to kite him. Two hunters (one being myself), both beast specced, and a frost mage took him down in about 5 minutes or so. 32 (other hunter), 28 (myself), and 30 (mage). Basically the other huter kited him around, spinning to do pot shots and what not mid jump, I kept as much poison and concuss on him as possible (using a scorpid pet, and yes, I'm Alliance :P that story is for another day), and the mage kept him on ice. A little bit of a let down though, he only dropped his femur, nothing else. Oh well, we'll go at him again some other day for the hell of it :P

I would guess that non of you have ever soloed him with a lvl 28 hunter before, so here goes! There's only one way of killing him if you are a hunter this low; kite him... What you need is loads of arrows, aspect of the cheetah, concussive shot, immolation trap, preferably aimed shot as an attack you use first and some mana pots. You'll probably need to run a LOOOONG way before even getting him below 50%. I managed to take him all the way to run around that road in Westfall and ended up in Goldshire before I somehow managed to kill him. Only dropped that silly bone, though.

So I first encountered this guy while walking through Darkshire. I'm not gonna lie, he has a TON of HP, but it wasn't much for the 65 elite NPC's and the 30 NPC's to down him. Then, on my way up to Sven's Camp, I spotted him again. Along with a 47 rogue, 30 priest, and some level 30+ tank, we took him down in about a minute. This guy is not as tough as Mor'Ladim. Whom I hate ALOT. By the way, I'm a 25 dwarf hunter ftw!

Thankfully I had vanish. Gotta love bein' a Rogue. A half dozen corpses of people of a higher level than me with this lone little night elf surviving the slaughter.

39 Rogue.
The instant I landed in DS I heard the town crier yelling about "it not being enough" and that "all the defenders need to gather in the town to face the undead beast together." I immediately thought of Stitches and started looking around, where I saw some activity to the North of town. I headed there only to find that a bunch of nightwatchmen had killed a hordie.
Disappointed, I headed West toward STV when I saw Stitches lumbering toward me on the road, under attack from a 38 druid and a 29 mage. I stayed back, knowing that the three of us were no match. One of the patrolling nightwatchmen chanced upon the scene and joined the fray, eventually taking the aggro after the druid was killed. After Stitches killed the nightwatchman, he went after the mage who went running off. The druid took another shot after rezzing but was killed again. Stitches' health was about 75% by this time but he had fully regened by the time he entered DS. There, me, the druid, the mage, and 2 nightwatchmen started working on Stitches. At around 50% health he aggroed on me so I ran off before he could kill me. He aggroed back on the nightwatchmen, killed them both, then turned his attention towards the druid. I returned to battle and the three of us killed him. The mage ended up getting the exp from the battle (around 250 or so).
Pretty neat.

When you accept the "Translation to Ello" quest, Stitches spawns. You do a couple running around quests in the town hall and get the "Bride of the Embalmer" quest.

Yeah... so...
Level 32 BM hunter, 188 agil 99 stam - pet has 2.6k armor and 1.5k hp.
Heard him yell, was right near there, engaged. Had a set of three onlookers.
Pet died when he was at half health (mend pet on and shell shield used up).
Continued to kite him, he had me down to exactly 17 health but i was a good enough distance away from him I could get to darkshire so they could finish him (he was at 1/5 health at this point).
So... a level 24 young black ravager happens to be crossing the path at this point. I click on it without thinking (autoshot was on) and I melee it.
It hits me for 25 damage and I die.
The onlookers proceed to swarm him.
I was PISSED.

Stitches was on the prowl tonight, making for my first encounter with him ...
before
I actually hit the quest which is supposed to spawn him (Bride of the Embalmer). Methinks I'm going to have the fun of witnessing his emergence at ground zero whenever I go to finish BotE off.
Anyway, here's what happened: earlier in the evening, the Darkshire guard leader (blanking on the name) /yelled a general warning, followed by Stitches booming a zonewide threat ("DARKSHIRE, I HUNGER!" or some such). Later, on my way back from Raven Hill to Darkshire, I actually *saw* Stitches lumbering along the road, and after sizing him up for a couple of moments (he's a level 35 elite, I'm a level 34 warlock), I decided to take my chances on engaging him.
My voidwalker nearly got annihilated within a few swings before I hit Sacrifice and experimented with a Hellfire attack; Hellfire aborted early for some reason (I didn't think it breaks if you move), and I ran for it while Sacrifice was still running. I took some damage - one more hit would've killed me by the time I escaped to safety ... running
away
from the road - not along it, but at right-angles to it and back towards the mountains on the south side of Twilight Grove.
I think that may be key to escaping Stitches in a pinch - he sticks pretty close to the road, so if you need to break and run, leave the road entirely.

I went to Duskwood as a lock (don't remember what lvl). I was able to own Mor'Ladim even with an add thanks to Voidwalker but with this guy... i was not even sure I would be able to kill him. Anyways a dwarf hunter lvl ? owned me before I could kill Stitches). WoWWiki clearly says that Stitches is way more harder than Mor'Ladim although they are same level. Mor is lvl 35 elite. Stitches is more of a lvl 35 End-Instance BOSS maybe harder than Thermaplugg, Razorflank and co. (he was hitting way harder than BM Thalnos.)
But well, why doesn't he drom good loot? He is hard and actually not so common, since he only appears as of a long quest chain. His res time is probably generally higher than Ressan the Needler's, for instance. He should drop blues and greens!

Stitches is pound for pound the best lvl 35 elite that I've ever seen. A group of six had to take him to town to let the guards tank him after I spawned him as part of the quest chain. 5 or 6 good low-30's helped me kill him and I got his femur.
I saw him again a few hours later and advised that group to do the same. They did, and we killed him again.
Duskwood is a cool zone. I wish some of the other zones had some better storylines and spawns like Duskwood does. Very Sleepy Hollow-ish and lots of fun.

It is quite possible to pull mobs any far distance. The only problem comes if you try to get them across the sea to the other continent.
A former guild and me often used to pull Dreamstalker Dragon to Crossroads and watch him kill a ton of lowbies there. We even pulled him to Org once, but that went slightly sour as the Hordies recognized us as the reason for this rampage, and hence ignored the Dragon to kill us xD
Ah, fun times

Damn this guy was tough!
Anyway when i spotted him i just so happened to be running behind a nice lvl 30 dranei priest who takes evasive action on seeing him. I on the other hand think 'Ha! Mor'ladim was a piece of piss, bring it on!' so I charge him, apply bloodrage, battle shout ect and then retalliation, and wait for him to fall over. Unfortunately after retalliation ran out and his HP had gone down maybe 10% I realised this was no ordinary 35 elite - more like early 40's to make a comparison.
Just as i'm about to bite the dust and pop a potion, the lvl 30 priest appears and starts healing me, so I invite her. She heals me good and all of a sudden i'm back in the fight - and it was a looooong fight, but in the endhe fell, and the priest had about 15% mana left.
I noticed i seemed to have little trouble hitting him, and he didn't seem to be doing the kind of damage a heal every few seconds couldn't sort out, but he has as others have said, massive hp and also renew i think, its knocking those hp down that is the problem if u have a capable healer and a half decent tank.
Anyway it was a long fight, but fun.

I only met him once, but that's enough for me until i hit the 50s. I saw this 35 pally whackin at him, almost dead. So I, being a bored Druid, healed him. Didn't work that well, as I was around lvl 24 at that time. -_-;; So anyways, that pally died and Stitches agroed me. Hit cat-form and dashed, and comp. lagged. Luckily there was a lvl 55 priest nearby...

I was taking my moutn down to STV when I saw stitches fighting with the NPC's at that camp near the road to STv. (45 at the time)
Last time i did the quest i just ran right past him, but this time, i said, "meh, he's 35, pfft!" since i just killd Mor 'Ladim for fun, I feared him and wacked him around - DAM he had a lot of HP!
Luckily the NPCs were there for me to take the aggro- He is DEfINITELY NOT LEVEL 35 MATeRIAL - maybe level 45 elite i dont know, but according to my mobhealth mod, he had over 10K hp. I crit him for 1.4K one time during that day on WoW and it was on him- WHAT a waste.
THe NPc's died and it was just me by my lonesome. He was hitting me for a hundreds of damage- i switched to shield and one-hand set the second i saw that 300 dmg and I was taking 250's around that. Luckily he din't hit too fast so I kept my mana up and running long nough to put in fears and 6-7 heals over time- it'd been 5 min. already.
warrior came by and sliced him up for me- well, that was a fun time.

at lvl 53 warrior. soloed him and ended up with 1/3 hp.
Some info.
I had 3640 hp from start, ended with 1200
this freaking guy have over 10k hp, as i did get some 1000+ crits.
at the time i had 3600 armor, he hitted me for 150+ each hit.
dropped 2 wools and that Femur thingy.
afterwards i got cheered by a human.. (im horde) but he seemed like a nice guy so i didnt kill him anyway.
Also met a sucky lvl 37 warrior, first i met him as i was browsing the internet, came back with 1300 hp, killed him with about 1200 left.. (he wasnt that good i can tell you, and no i didnt use any potions)
Second time i met him, he hamstred me and tried to flee, when he was at about 60hp, then my Deep Wound struck him dead.. nice ending.
Lvl 53 Orc Warriors first "adventure" in Duskwood. Also got some lvl 20-30 but they arent worth telling about :p

What makes him spawn?
评论来自
Allakhazam
I don't know if he's triggered or not. Thottbot people claim he is. I don't think so since he didn't spawn when I did the translation letter quest.
I've seen him spawn one time so far. It happened at 12:00am (midnight) according to server time. You'll know when you hear the Darkshire church bell toll the midnight hour.
You'll see Watcher Cutford say "Althea, there are reports of strange happenings at the graveyard. Ello believes it portends an attack on Darkshire."
I'm not sure what her response is since I was in the inn, but Cutford responds with "Yes, commander."
This wasn't the exchange that happened during the letter quest.
You'll know he has spawned if you reach the halfway point of the road in Duskwood where the guard tent is and splits off to the Ogre mound.
Four guards will be spawned on the road looking in the direction of Raven Hill. I knew he was coming when I saw a lv40 rogue running at me when I was running towards the graveyard and he had 10% health. I was like, wtf? Horde? Till Stitches popped in behind him.
Fight wasn't too bad. 40 rogue, 37 hunter (me) and 37 Needles Cougar as pet.

So today I see this thing walking down the road and aggro him with my void. It all goes pretty well but I didn't even have time to hurt him for 1/5 of his points, that a****** lvl ? dwarf hunter attacks me and kills me, and steals Stitches. I SO wanted to kill him, but he was too high so I made my vengeance on his lvl 28 friend that I killed twice... not because I love killing defenseless allies but because they had done the same with me it was my vengeance...

Stitches is troublesome on midpopulated servers outside prime time. He can't be killed by the NPCs or level-appropriate players in Darkshire, but that doesn't means there isn't other means! The NPC guardians eastwards towards FP and the flightmaster are elites of higher lvl, so the solution is to kite Stitches to them.
